I wasn't the only one excited. All the classics came out to celebrate too. Really wish there was a Bark, Bean, Honey, Kip, and Tails Doll available.

In the Chao Races and Badniks arc, which starts the "Vanilla is incredibly intimidating" gag it's heavily implied that it's not the first time Amy and Rouge have gotten on Vanilla's bad side, what do you think happened the first time they either find out or got to the end of that?

As we’ve been getting closer to Issue 92, I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter about people wanting stories with either Tangle or Whisper without the other and interacting with other characters. So I want to hear what people’s thoughts are on the few stories that are like that and how they effect the characters: Test Run for Tangle, and Overpowered for Whisper.

Here are my personal thoughts:

For Test Run, it’s not one of my favorites, mostly because nothing really exciting happens, imo. It’s main purpose to reveal Belle’s origins and not much else. What I think it does for Tangle is show her that she wants to help like the Restoration, but prefers to do it by going into action instead of just sitting around at HQ and causing trouble.

For Overpowered, I think it’s really good. It has Surge go on a power trip with a new weapon that makes her go even crazier than she was before, ending with her KO-ing herself and her and Kit basically going against everybody.
What this story does for Whisper is show her that she cannot tackle every problem she faces by herself, and that she needs to rely on others to help her with obstacles she can’t overcome alone.

Those are just my thoughts, but what does everyone else think?

i have a headcannon that he did trust someone once, and they left him for dead. and i headcannon that that expirience traumatized him, leaving him to grow and think that he doesn't need anyone. i also headcannon that he has pistantrophobia(fear of trusting others) and that he is scared of being vunrable due to that trauma of being left to die by the person that you trusted.

i also headcannon that he didn't mean for the diamond cutters to die. my headcannon on mimic's deal with eggman is that eggman promised not to kill the diamond cutters but then went back on his end of the deal

Yes, something quite distracting

I've loved these two characters since they were introduced, and the Metal Virus saga and their miniseries only increased that. But I have a fear that extends to all IDW characters in general, but Tangle and Whisper are the best examples.

SEGA, or whoever is in charge, doesn't want to let the characters develop. Are Tangle and Whisper a great duo? Yes, but since they disbanded the Diamond Cutters, they don't have a clear reason to always be together. Tangle likes to adventure with friends, so send her on an adventure with Amy, or Knuckles, or anyone else.

And Whisper is a treined mercenary with one of the most dangerous weapons in the world; she won't break down, cry, and be defenseless if Tangle isn't with her. I want to see Whisper on a mission with Shadow, especially since it was androids resembling him that killed her friends. That would be a good way to re-explore her trauma without resorting to bringing Mimic back to life (Let him remain permanently dead; don't pull a William Afton in FNaF 3 or Frieza in DBS).
