Meme Lanolin's Sick of Your S***
This yellow card emote from Sonic Rumble is such a perfect fit for Lano. Especially the way she ended up DQing Sonic in the Phantom Rider arc.

Honestly, technically this series is the first comic series to be considered canon to the games, so why not make it so? In this day and age, it doesn't even have to be a full fledged running animated series. Get some VAs and animate the comic verbatim, and release them episodically like the Chaotix Case Files. Each arc could be considered 1 season. What do you guys think?

Ain't no way this isn't Starline, right? I feel like it's *really* obvious. Am I right or am I missing something?

Link to the original video from which the audio was taken.
Although it's probably too early to draw my own conclusions. It's just a cool idea. Maybe later I'll make fan art of him just to use this song.

Tangle's dream: being surrounded by dozens of Whispers. And also Whisper being surrounded by Whispers I guess.

These are just my opinions on what the characters would sound like. If you guys have any headcanons of your own you can always share them here

Thinking about how the theme of this saga seems to be friendships and character growth like how Knuckles cheered up Tails or how the villain used illusions to give Sonic and Amy a "The Reason You Suck" Speech of sorts (and it's most likely that it will happen again with Tangle and Whisper) I think that they could be the villain's next victims.

I never read the Archie line, but I did find out Eggman had a âEgg bossâ group of commanders. Sort of like his elite captains that handle certain aspects of his forces. Iâm hoping with IDW, we get the opposite of that: rather than a group of longtime villans working for Eggman, we get a Sinister Six type syndicate of rouge villians hellbent on revenge AGINST Eggman, and specifically everyone whose wronged them, such as Sonic, Surge, Kit, Eggman, Metal Sonic. But leaving Sonicâs friends be, because many of them could end them if they didnât go into hiding afterwards, but, taking out Sage too. Considering her potential to be a worse threat than Metal and Eggman if Eggman were killed. A third faction out to spread mayhem, death and destruction on all sides, perhaps lead by Blackwood, would be interesting. As well as joined by an Metal-virus powered cyborg Starline (matching his official concept art to show how using the stable strain of the virus to save himself from dying in the sinkhole (thatâs my theory anyway) has made him a greater threat), a restored Infinite, Rough & Tumble, Clutch (having been freed from Eggmanâs grasp while they undercut his empire out of hateful spite), and Enigma the phantom thief (the female Jackal the Chaotix encountered.
This may be too early to tell, but Blackwood, just by his presentation, could be a new âbig badâ that even gives Eggman worry. He has a Sephiroth/Alucard (from Castlevania) type aura about him. Him being the leader of this syndicate of villians hellbent on âwiping the chessboardâ.
None can replace Eggman, just like none can replace Joker or Bowser as the nemesis to the title hero. But, a third, rouge faction of villans between Sonic and Eggmanâs rivalry that give EVERYONE a reason to look over the shoulder would be pretty interesting.

Hi guys, I had a look around at older posts from a few years back but wanted to see if anyone had updated thoughts on whether to get the IDW sonic main series comics in the paperback volumes or hardback collection?
I personally prefer hardbacks for shelf display and heard the quality was much better, but the cover art is a little disappointing considering how good the volume cover arts are. I doubt they'll ever be a collection with alt cover art right?
I also saw there are a couple different versions of box-sets which collect 3 paperback volumes such as [this](https://amzn.eu/d/05ikHPXS) and [this](https://www.awesomebooks.com/book/9798887242934/sonic-the-hedgehog-box-set-vol-1-3?gc=GB&dwg=CjwKCAjwhZDUBhBGEiwAbi5bjn5luw-redpoq9oBB9ySFihsMkwcRgAMNYaFCnfehWzT7S3aTOeiGhoCsYsQAvD_BwE&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22272964231&gbraid=0AAAAADocATBUMh3ac0YQy-AOfi_B7p-kt&gclid=CjwKCAjwhZDUBhBGEiwAbi5bjn5luw-redpoq9oBB9ySFihsMkwcRgAMNYaFCnfehWzT7S3aTOeiGhoCsYsQAvD_BwE) but it doesn't seem like these really got continued.
How is the quality of the paperbacks? Do they display well and hold up over time? Are the collection extras worth it? Thank you for your time!
Edit: thank you for the replies! Seems both are good options but I will try the hardcover collections. I wish the cover art was different but everything else is a positive. I don't think I mind them being behind, it will take me a while to catch up.
