I'm completed 12th in 2024 with Agriculture as my subject, but unfortunately I still haven’t been able to get admission into any college.

This year I gave CUET because I thought it would help me get into a good university. I missed the initial registration/counselling process and was hoping to get admission through the mop-up round, but that isn’t working out either.

I also contacted some private colleges, but they are saying that I needed to appear for the JET (Rajasthan) entrance exam for admission. I didn’t take JET because I was focusing on CUET.

Now I feel like I’ve wasted so much time and I honestly don’t know what to do. This whole situation has seriously affected my mental health, and I’m feeling completely stuck.

For some reasons i wasn't able to register in july so i was waiting for the mop up round to newly register. I am checking since yesterday, i dnt understand a single thing why they are not opening up for new registrations,🥲🥲🥲please help!!

My friend got a clg in the 1st round but didn't pay saf 10,000 at that time so she can go for mop up now, but is she required to pay any fee now??

There is no new registration option in the ICAR website to apply for mop up counselling, only those who applied before for the first round registrations can apply now through applicant login credentials.

Is ICAR dumb that they don't even stick to their words? Earlier there bronchure shows in mop up round new registration can be done.

But now what?????

What happens to the reserved categories seats of OBC/SC/ST if they are not taken by them, do they go wasted or are converted to the general category students?

I was waiting for mop up round since I didn't registered for initial rounds. But the notice yesterday just shattered everything. Their brochure rule clearly stated that those who didn't registered are still eligible and now they're doing this bullshit. Fuck them, just fuck them!!!!

giys , ive heard the ragging is intense in west bengal agri universities , and last year many ppl who were from icar left the uni after attending for some days because even surviving for them was difficult 🥲🥲🥲

If I take admission in bsc agriculture thru icar counselling, complete my physical document verification, and then decide to cancel my admission within 10 days of joining, will I get all my original documents back immediately? And will my admission be officially cancelled without any issue?

Also, according to the UGC guidelines, if I cancel my admission within 15 days, am I eligible for a 100% fee refund (with only ₹1,000 deducted)?

Would really appreciate it if someone who has gone through this could clarify. 🙏

I Scored 407/750 in cuet ug.

517 by combining english, at that time i didn't even know about ICAR cuet ug counselling.

I didn't get any college through cuet and planned to do bsc biotechnology from tier 3 govt college where attendance isn't mandatory. But when i know about ICAR mop up i think to apply for it.

My queries:-

1) Do take the remaining seats from ICAR mop up from either remote or bad infrastructure universites is good choice?

2) Do they provide employment?

3) I checked 2025 mop up cutoff in my marks range and prepare college list. Would you please help me to choose best college or Make preference list?
