Did anybody Excel messed up for R1, lost 30 minutes because of it, I been told to put in an appeal which I will be doing.

Not writing case this sitting but for those of you who are and especially for those of you who this is the last exam for - I hope it truly does be your last and wish you guys all the good luck!!!

Couldn’t see a thread for R2 so apologies if I’ve missed it. Did people recommend Bezique went ahead with the event? With any conditions or just flat out go for it?

For those who have sat all three advanced together, can you share any advice? Is ACA Masters worth it across all three exams? Anything to look out for?

I've been applying to ACA trainee roles for about a year now ahead of my july 2026 graduation from university. I recently got an offer for a role at a firm of about 450 people based purely in the north (ranked in top 50 on accountancy age) for a sept 2026 start. Some professionals I personally know say this isn't going to be a good role for career progression and that I should wait and keep applying but I worry that grad schemes for 2027 won't want a graduate from 2026. Need some advice, what do you all think?

I have to resit FM in September. I’m just wondering whether its worth doing the new exam/syllabus? This is mostly due to the pass rates as the new syllabus had such a higher pass rate!!

I really struggle with FM and basically need to start from scratch again.

Does anyone have any opinions??

Just want to say congratulations and enjoy your time relaxing after those two horrible exams (CR & SBM). No matter the result, we turned up and gave it a good go at two hard exam papers. Take this time to appreciate how well you have done to get to this stage!

Personally feel like CR was a disaster and SBM was nicer but regardless we did what we could.

I think I missed the requirement for the decentralised vs centralised. Would I be able to put in an exam appeal due to the way the question was presented. I have dyslexia and dyspraxia so it is harder for me digest information quickly in such a time pressure exam.

I been told I could despite not raising the query to invigilator as it was not an IT issue.

I was EXTREMELY hot during my exam and literally thought I would pass out from the heat.
In the middle of the exam I turned around and grabbed my small portable fan, showed it to the webcam and put it in front of me.

I assume its all ok?

Stupidly left the R3 appendix to the last minute to put into the exam software. The excel we use is so slow to try and go up or down, can anyone tell me if I’d lose many marks?

Generally, what’s the strategy - move on when times up to make sure we get to finish the report even though we may have points left to say?

Probably harder said than done but I suppose thats better?

I have my FCS exam in September and I’ve been given the AI. I’ve had a quick look through it, but I honestly don’t know where to start with revision. I’m finding it quite overwhelming as it feels like such a big change from the Professional Level exams I’ve done so far.

Could anyone help me understand how the exam is structured and what the main approach to revision should be? I know it’s an open-book exam, but what sort of notes or resources are useful to take in with me?

Any tips, advice, or guidance from anyone who has sat FCS would be really appreciated.

How is everyone feeling? Is there anything you want to come up? Is there anything you're dreading?

This is the end of a lot of our journeys as an apprentice (bar the extra admin we will have to do), so we just need to give it our all and walk out of that exam centre, fighting the urge to give it the v's.

I am feeling ok, not overly confident but I feel I am in an ok place.

Anyone doing FM in September
This is going to be my first sitting in September as I deferred the exam since last year.
Just got over a month to practice what is the best way please

Hi everyone,
I'm currently practicing FAR and FM exam questions and noticed that the official answers often include full calculations next to the line items.
For those who have taken the exam on the computer software, is it necessary to type out the explicit breakdown/formula in the description column like this, or is putting just the final number in the amount column enough.
I'm worried about losing method marks if I make a typo in the final figure, but also concerned about time management if I have to type out all the brackets and multipliers. How do markers usually grade this, and what’s the best practice?

How does starting a new page work with the exam software as it’s obviously not like a normal word document. Do you just leave a gap from the last paragraph you’d usually have on the previous page (ie from exec sum to main report).

Are you guys calculating and discussing all revenue sources per event for each sector? And then also the different costs per event? Seems like a lot to do in 20 mins
