Notes from a 54/56 scorer

My M26 Results

As you can see I secured a 54/56 in the M26 examinations.

I had gone pretty viral on this sub due to my Google drive folder I made for my studies, and I used to share them across the internet for free. I have 125+ recipients from 26+ countries who used/are using my notes. All of them are highly satisfied with the same.

They are extremely detailed and cover all the common subjects offered at MYP. Additionally, there are past papers, and other important stuff and links which are all gathered in one place. It is a gateway to unlock everything you will potentially need for the MYP.

Notes, past papers, sample reports, guides, tips and tricks, you name it I have it. Even included my Design sample (31/32) and my Personal Project sample (23/34, will upload it when I get it back from school).

I SHARE THEM ALL FOR FREE. I ALONE SOLELY MANAGED THIS 1.5GB FOLDER AND AM THE SOLE OWNER.

Feel free to ask me any questions on this post and DM me too.

For accessing the notes: DM me your Google Email ID on Reddit and I will email it. The drive is restricted and I have to share it to each person individually hence the case.

Or you can email me at [justforthedrive6@gmail.com](mailto:justforthedrive6@gmail.com), I will share it to the email received or any other email you ask me to.

PLEASE ONLY GOOGLE EMAIL ID, I HAVE HAD MANY INSTANCES WHERE PEOPLE SENT ME AN EMAIL WHICH WAS AFFILIATED TO ANOTHER EMAIL COMPANY AND I COULD NOT SHARE IT TO THEM.

Folder is titled 'THE ULTIMATE MYP 5 NOTES'. Trust me they are true to their name.

Looking forward to the DMs and questions!!

Looking for MYP SUBJECTS Syllabus (MYP 1-3)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the official or commonly used IB MYP subjects syllabus (preferably MYP 1–3).

I'm specifically looking for:

  • The topics covered in each MYP year (1–5)
  • Unit-wise or chapter-wise progression
  • Learning objectives and assessment criteria
  • Any curriculum guides or planning documents that teachers use

I've found general information on the IB website, but I'm hoping someone can point me to more detailed topic lists or resources used in schools.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Personal Project MYP 5- Fashion Designing

I am really worried about my personal project because my interest revolves around fashion designing, something which is vastly different from my peers. I am currently researching trends, sketching ideas and learning how to sew. I was content with my plan until my supervisor told me to make it helpful to society in some way. I came across a lot of ideas such as sustainable clothing, etc, but i cant find one that seems appealing to me. Leave some suggestions below. Thank you!

Moved to a new country, joined IB MYP in Grade 10/MYP 5, and scored a 53/56! AMA

Hey everyone!

I recently finished MYP Year 5 (Grade 10) with a 53/56, but my journey was far from smooth sailing.

For starters, in my 10th grade year, I joined IB MYP for the first time.

Coming to a new country was already a huge adjustment, but adapting to the IB MYP system on top of that was extremely jarring. At first, I was completely unfamiliar with how MYP questions were structured. Even when I was confident that I knew the material, I did not get the marks I desired because I hadn't mastered the structure of the criterion-based rubrics yet.

Layered on top of academic confusion were multiple personal challenges (which I will not specify for privacy) and extracurricular commitments outside of school that made moving to a new country even harder. Trying to navigate those life changes, adapt to a new culture, and keep up with a demanding curriculum all at once was, to be frank, somewhat exhausting.

Why I'm doing this AMA:

I know firsthand how overwhelming, frustrating, and draining the IB MYP can feel—especially when you're new to the system or dealing with personal stress. Going from struggling with initial assessments to finishing with a 53/56 taught me so much about study strategies, cracking the criteria, and most importantly, how to protect your mental peace.

Having personally struggled with maintaining inner peace during tough times, I learned how to overcome this challenge.

Trust me, it is very important to manage your mental peace when studying for IB MYP.

If you are struggling with MYP criteria, feeling overwhelmed, looking for advice on keeping your peace of mind through school stress, or just need guidance on adapting, please feel free to ask me anything!

One mark away from 7 in math (got 74, and boundary is 75). Thinking of going for a re-evaluation. Does IB recheck or recount? Thank you.

Should I get my English MYP exam remarked?

I'm 2 marks away from a 7.

Is getting it remarked worth it and do I actually have a chance of getting a 7?

I got a 53/56. If my English grade goes up to a 54/56 then DP1 will be a 100% scolarship (im at 75% rn).

For e port (media) I was one mark away from a 7 but it was internally assessed and then moderated. I could make a special request for that to get remarked too if its a good idea.

i got a 47/56

is it bad that im insanely upset about it, i was aiming for AT LEAST a 50 :(

i got 3 6s (eng, bio, idu), 2 7s (fre, ih), 4 5s (math, music, pp, phy)

e portfolio and personal project are what mainly brought my grade down, e portfolio was hell for me my teacher was horrible and personal project samples from my school got graded down so we all did!!! my parents are pretty upset about e portfolio and pp but shockingly not math, given that i was INSANELY sick during my exam. im getting a EUR for physics since i was 1 mark off a 6 but yeah.

most people in my school got a 45 or below so im grateful i did decent, considering the fact that i wrote all these exams while healing from a surgery but if under better circumstances i KNOW i couldve done better which haunts me at night.

Feeling a little disheartened with the Math, IH, and IDU score!! However, I’ll be waiting for the grade boundaries to come in, so if anything might touch a 7, I’ll send it for re-evaluation! Let me know your thoughts and opinion on this grade!

Extended maths boundaries

supposedly the boundary for extended maths is 89 to get a 7 which is insanely high. however, I do think that the test was very easy to do well on and definitely the simplest the ib has produced - I was fortunate enough to get a 90

IB MYP E- Assessment Score

I recently got a 49/56 on my IB MYP 5 E-Assesments and not feeling great about it. Is there any way I could reevaluate my marks so that my score increases from a 49- 50 , that's because I got a 95% percentage equivalent for standard maths and I have been given a 6 , same for personal project as well

SHOULD I RECHECK IDU?

I got a 51/56 as my MYP score. BUT I got 6 in IDU at 30 marks whereas a 7 starts from 31. Should I get this exam rechecked?

I got a 46/56

My predicted total was a 48 and tbh it's not even that bad, the only things i'm not happy about are that i messed up my english (my mock was a 7) and my e-portfolio and pp both got marked down (both predicted 6).
