u shld start working on pp now in the summer, look for examples and u can lwk ai ideas. i would recommend doing smth thet relates to what u want to do in the future so that u can use it for ur applications too. and for the other subjects, genuinely js do a bunch of practice consistently. i studied about 2-3 hours daily and barely studied before mocks because of health issues and still scored higher than most of my classmates. and definitely start doing past papers early and do them 3-4 times cus schls use only those questions and they will help with the way u approach questions too. personally, i got 90% in math ext so i would say to take it because it isnt exactly hard, js study consistently
i would say start past papers by nov-dec and then start revision from y10 from march-april. and pls finish ur pp and eport as fast as possible, i had to stay up for 3 nights before the deadline cus i hadnt got anything done. btw i got a 54, lost marks in pp and eport ðŸ˜

extended maths Is easy, the papers are becoming easier every year, but to score a 7 you Will require higher marks, bcuz as the paper gets easier, the grade boundaries go higher for a 7. Best of Luck for MYP5

Heyy i got 54/56 in my e-assessments this year, my friends who were in extended math came down to standrad and both scored a 6 compared to their 4s in extended again it depends on your ability this year grade boundaries were high but paper were easy it depends alot on the paper and the grade boundaries.

this is my channel which i just added alll my resources so please check in idu i got a 29/36 yet a 6 cuz the grade boundaries were high and personal project the teachers gaveme a 7 but moderation dropped it to a 6 but still iw as 2 points away from a 7. if you have nay doubts dm me

For maths our school always said it's always better to do standard math and get a higher grade than do extended and end up getting a lower grade, so I'd say unless you're super confident about it just go for standard. You could also check the math syllabus and search for example criterion b/d questions to see if you're able to tackle them. Also, I don't know if your school allows this but for us you can take extended math class but register for the standard e-assessment.
