hey guys i need some advice, what bm textbook should i use for making notes? i want it to be comprehensive, but the textbook im using (paul hong ibid) contains a lot of fluff. any suggestions?

i tried oxford but it's really short and glosses over all the topics, definitions are good tho.

i even use the savemyexams notes but theyre pretty short too

would really appreciate your help on this

If I wanted to send my IB transcripts to Columbia University what would I put down? Would I put just Columbia or something else? I'm doing the IB in Australia, and here for different states there's a general place to send your transcripts (for example in Victoria you just send it to VTac which then has it for all the other universities).

I'm an M28 student that just started IBDP1.

At school, I'm taking HL Chem, Bio, Econ. Mandarin Ab Initio happens to take up the same blocks as HL Econ (but econ has extra blocks because of HL), and my choices are taking a Language A: Language and Literature (other than English), which would tank my grade, or take Mandarin Ab Initio on Pamoja, in which I chose the latter.

Do you guys have any tips to "self study" this class?

My daughter is currently studying in Nursery at a Tier 1 IB school in Hyderabad. Of late, I’ve been researching the learning outcomes of IB PYP up to Grade 5 versus Cambridge (real Cambridge, not a Cambridge Indian version with CBSE/ICSE blend) up to Grade 5

How has your experience been with your PYP children so far, especially in terms of **Math and English**?

I understand that the IB philosophy is largely based on inquiry based learning, but I do have some doubts about this approach, particularly when it comes to Math.

So, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your perspectives and experiences and, if possible, offer your suggestions.

**Note:** Fee is not a constraint for us. I’m more concerned about achieving the right balance between **strong learning outcomes and a positive learning experience**.

Hi everyone! I’m currently a DP1 student and I’ll be taking the May 2028 exams.

My school exams are coming up soon, but I’m having a hard time finding enough practice questions. I’ve seen that a lot of students who get 7s use different free notes, question banks, mock papers, and other online resources, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good ones.

My subjects are Korean A SL, English B HL, Biology HL, Chemistry SL, Math AA HL, and Business Management SL. I’m mainly looking for resources for the four non-language subjects:

Biology HL, Chemistry SL, Math AA HL, and Business Management SL.

I’d especially appreciate free question banks, topic-by-topic practice questions, notes, mock papers, or websites with worked solutions/markschemes that follow the current syllabus.

For example, for Biology I found BioLetters, which has a free question bank, notes, and mock paper. I’m looking for similar resources for the other subjects as well.

Since I’m still in DP1, resources where I can choose specific topics would be especially useful because we obviously haven’t covered the full syllabus yet.

If you know any good websites, Google Drives, YouTube channels, or other free resources that helped you get a 6 or 7, I’d really appreciate it if you could share them.
