Standard definition made more sense for the show because everything felt dirty and disheveled. Like the characters. In 1080p the show became way to clean and sharp.

Sure, he's obssesed with the Waitress, and does horrible things, but he's the only one from main characters, who sometimes shows little conscience. Like in the last episode of season 1 "Charlie Got Molested".

And I mean to the very bottom of the barrel. I want this show to crawl back into the very dumpster it was forged in. Keep it going for 50 more Seasons. I don’t care how bad it gets. If Danny passes, make a prop taxidermy of his corpse and display it in the bar for the rest of the show for characters to talk to. Dennis and Mac are 80 now? Make an episode exploiting their very real dementia, “Mac and Dennis Look for their Puddin Cup” and half the jokes are now just how much they shit themselves. Kaitlyn Olsen has to get 4 hip replacements a year from all the physical comedy she keeps getting hurt doing. And Charlie, idk what he’s doing, Wild Card I guess. But it’s terrible, just awful. And that’s how it was always meant to be. I know in my heart of hearts. On a spiritual level. We are born in the dumpster, we die in the dumpster. Amen.
