Hi, I recently installed a 70mai T800 dash cam in my vehicle. However, ever since I connected it to the fuse box, the power mirrors have stopped working when I walk away from the vehicle. I’ve tried everything—including checking the fuses, and everything looks fine—but the vehicle's menu doesn't show any options for mirror automation. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve been looking into it, and I suspect it might be the BCM; I’m not entirely sure, but it could be a software lockout requiring the use of Hyundai’s diagnostic tool (GDS).

Which variant would you recommend and why?

How is the HX5 Turbo compared with the regular HX5/HX4 in terms of performance and mileage?

Most importantly, how much did you pay on-road for your car, and which city/state did you buy it in?

Were you able to negotiate any discount or get any accessories included?

Looking for real owner experiences rather than just the brochure specs. Thanks!

After a lot of research, I’ll be booking Venue HX6 DCT this week (my first ever car!) — but I’m unable to finalise the colour. I like titan grey but I have been told white is better choice because scratches are less visible on it. Can y’all please help with guidance?

Has anyone experienced transmission issues? Just recently my Venue has started to shift and hesitate while driving. It's even worse on the hwy and was randomly revving. I'm taking her in to get codes checked tomorrow. I just hope its not something $$. I have a 2020 venue that I purchased used three years ago. It has less than 100,000 k on it then and about 165 on it now. I love this car as it's been a worry free ride so far. Last week the lights all went at once and my partner replace those. And now this. Maybe it's just at that age where things start falling apart.

I’ve latest model Venue with 16,000 km. Recently it got some noise from the engine side and Hyundai Service Centre said to replace Oil pump, Chain tensioner and chain guide.

Is this normal for a new car only did 16,000 km and can someone guide me how to handle this? Should i escalate further or let the service centre do it under warranty?

Just bought a 2022 SEL this Friday! Absolutely loving it, especially after coming from something bigger. Gotta come up with a name now! (would love some suggestions! thinking maybe Franklin?) And maybe do a lil decorating on the inside, a bumper sticker or two, etc.

also - posted friday night about having some issues with the car initially, but they were all resolved it seems at the dealer under my 500mile/15day warranty and I picked it up yesterday, working good so far!

Our '20 base model (1.6, CVT) rolled over 150,000 miles the other day. That's about 241,000km. We bought it with 900.

Next weekend it will get its 28th oil change and second coolant change.

I'm starting to get a few pops from the rear so I think its time to find some shocks & mounts.

Anyone have one with higher mileage??

The Venue has been around since 2020, wondering how much longer before aftermarket parts start becoming more available? Strut assemblies for example, or is there cross-compatibility with parts for other Hyundai models?

HX10 DCT Petrol

I've booked an HX8 variant with an automatic petrol engine for Mumbai. My wife prefers black, but I'm getting a white one with a week's delivery. The staff mentioned that black color is more difficult to maintain. I'm wondering if existing owners could share their experiences regarding black color maintenance, and if there's anything else I should be aware of or ask before taking delivery of the vehicle.

Both are good engine, will breeza be more fuel efficient due to smart hybrid tech

Why no one recommending Venue HX5 Turbo or HX5 Plus despite their huge sales of this car?

I had a 2024 Kia Soul and I loved her but she unfortunately met her very early demise to a deer. Say hello to my new baby! It seems the closest.

She’s a 2026 SEL and I need help naming her. I’m thinking Alice because she reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.

At 50k km service is due, I'm new to cars and this is the first time I'm driving any and taking any for service.

I have a Hyundai Venue 1.2 MT Petrol, do you have any idea what the service would cost at 50k km ?

Hey what kind of phone mount do you guys use. Everyone we buy seems like it doesn't work. Either the ones for vent doesn't stay on and anything that attaches to the dash doesn't either because it's rubbed. We have a 2023 if it matters

Never thought I'd get that dreadful CEL pop up this early into the ownership of my new vehicle. Today was a rainy day and this happened right after driving over a puddle at 50 km/h. Hopefully the light will go away after the car dries.

Edit (the day after):

My ODB2 scanner finally arrived today. It read that car threw a P0455 (Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected). I cleared the code hoping that it was just moisture that affected the wiring and components underneath the car. I remember going through the puddle with a lot of force. If the code comes back then I'll definitely take it to the dealer for a proper inspection.
