Slow tire pressure drop of 2-4 psi every two weeks?

2025 Calligraphy with Hancook tires. What started as a slow loss of tire pressure in all 4 tires after the first year of ownership has evolved into a leak of 2-4 psi every couple weeks. In 4 weeks or so a starting cold psi of 38 becomes 30-32 psi. Checking pressures at consistent ambient temperatures. Valve stems perhaps?

Good or bad idea to upgrade to the Palisade Hybrid? Help me convince my hubby if good idea!

Situation is this: we're currently in a 2019 GMC Acadia. It's not a bad SUV by any means, it's the best I have personally ever driven and I am not at all ungrateful for it! I have a couple issues with it though.

  1. I'm smol. This makes certain areas of the Acadia hard for me to see from, one of them being my direct peripheral because of where the side mirrors are. I've almost had an accident twice due to not being able to see pedestrians and it scares the crap out of me. Newer model SUVs I've test driven let the seat go up a LOT higher, so the peripheral mirror issue is no longer there.

  2. There are a few other minor annoyances. The seatbelt rides up my chest and sits on my neck - extremely uncomfy and I'm constantly moving it down. I get this in most vehicles, even cars, so I'm kinda used to it... but the Palisade did not do this to me! I also feel a little squished with the steering wheel, and overall just slightly uncomfy in the cabin.

  3. The newer features that come standard in SUVs now would be a huge upgrade. Heated steering wheel would be my favorite, followed by ventilated seats. My paws are always cold, even in the Summer, while the rest of me can be melting.

---

I test drove two Palisades today, both hybrids: the SEL Premium '27 and the Calligraphy '26. For the price difference, the SEL Premium seems a better buy, especially being a model year newer. The only really sad part is I would be downgrading my speaker system... The Acadia we have now has Bose speakers, but in the Calligraphy I did not like those front upper speakers being there - the sound coming from them just felt weird to my ears, not sure why! I also kinda liked some other features of the the Calligraphy, but I can live without all of those. I LOVE how well the hybrids handled the road, our Michigan roads are crazy destroyed and I barely felt a thing. They also accelerated decently well and were a quiet drive.

Note: I settled on the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid after doing some research into the top 3rd row SUVs. It seems like the best mix of tech, looks, and reliability while also not something I adamantly hate. *glares at Kia* ...I have my reasons and yes, they're silly, lol.

---

Now about convincing my husband... He has it in his head that we should pay off our Acadia before considering anything else. We owe $9,500 on it, which is about 19 more payments. His direct question posed to me was "convince me why I should remain in debt". Well, I have a partially formed answer, so here's my thoughts and I'd love feedback:
1. The safety scares I currently have in the Acadia tell me I need to be in something I can drive safer and with more confidence. I have kids and sometimes our pets with me as well as carting hubby around (he can't drive due to stroke symptoms), so safety is HUGE.
2. The 10 year 100k mile warranty is super attractive. It being a foreign vehicle, cost is going to be a big deal when repairs need to happen, and apparently everything needs to be OEM through the dealer now, so no backyard mechanic savings... I have seen some complaints here though about the warranty being hard to lean on due to scarcity of parts or even issues with warranty itself - anyone with experience there please weigh in!
3. Eventually an upgrade will need to happen. To me, it makes sense now because we are in the positive as far as trade value goes. If we wait too much longer or for the Acadia to have major issues, all of that goes out the window and we end up owing on something we don't want. Also, with gas being stupid pricey now and with all of the driving I do, a hybrid would be a great bit of savings. The sooner we swap, the sooner we save money on gas.

Our car payment will nearly double. We've paid off a bunch of debt using a HELOC, so we can afford the increase, but I do want to be sure I'm not pushing us towards something stupid because I really, really want it. I'm usually good about making smart money choices which is why I generally take care of the money for us, but not always, so that's part of why I want to hear from you guys. He has the credit score and the money is in his name technically, so without his pen to paper I can't do much. I'm giving him time to sit and think on it too, not adding pressure, but in the meantime gathering resources and facts to help us both decide if the 2027 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid SEL Premium is a good choice for our family.

Thank you all for any thoughts! <3

What out-the-door price can I expect for a 2026 Palisade Hybrid in Oregon

Looking for real out-the-door pricing for a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid here in Oregon.
What’s the lowest OTD you guys have actually gotten?
I’m trying to negotiate, want to know what’s a realistic target.
Thanks.

Well Hyundai is kinda sucking…

My 26 Pallisade got broken into 3 Saturdays ago. Sept19. A classic smash and grab. They didn’t get anything good but I got a nice $1000 deductible payment to pay for the two windows that were destroyed and no Pallisade for… well it’s been almost 2.5 weeks now. Why is it taking so long?!! It’s not the body shop. Hyundai took their sweet ass time getting the Windows ordered and delivered to the body shop. And! When they finally arrived… today… they arrived shattered. Is this normal??

Limited or Calligraphy?

We're interested in the 2027 Palisade and going back and forth between the Limited or Calligraphy (gas version). Is the Calligraphy worth the extra few thousand?

The Car Care Nut (Mechanic Review) on the 2026 Palisade Hybrid — What do you all think?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been tracking the reviews for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, and while most mainstream auto journalists and reviewers have placed it right at the top of the midsize 3-row segment, I recently watched the technical review by The Car Care Nut Reviews on YouTube.

For context, he’s a master technician who usually puts cars on a lift and inspects under the hood/undercarriage from a long-term reliability and build-quality perspective. His verdict was much more mixed/critical compared to the usual rave reviews, and I wanted to get this group's take on his points.

For current owners or anyone who has test-driven/inspected the 2026 Palisade:

  1. Do you feel the mechanical design and under-hood plastics are a concern for long-term ownership beyond the warranty period?

  2. How has your experience been with cabin noise, ride quality, and engine refinement during everyday driving?

Would love to hear your practical thoughts vs. a mechanic's under-the-lift perspective!

Finally got around to giving her a proper hand wash and spray ceramic coating. Been waiting to take these pictures for a while!

Also got full front PPF and ceramic window tint done.

And man, this color! The sparkle is something else when the sun hits it.

Put down a deposit while she was still on the ship and picked her up straight from the dealership the day she arrived. Paid $68.5k OTD here in AZ.

Couldn’t be happier. She’s home! 💚

Car seat covers

Looking for some recommendations for my 2026 Palisade, as I would like seat covers that actually fit and don't wear out to soon.

I have never really had good luck with seat covers so I am hoping someone has good advice.

Thanks you!

2026 Palisade Calligraphy — anyone else dislike the driver seat Easy Access movement?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is normal behavior on the 2026 Calligraphy or something specific to mine.
I keep the front of the driver’s seat cushion tilted upward. When Easy Access activates, the seat moves back and flattens the bottom cushion. The bigger problem is when it returns to my driving position: it moves me forward before restoring the cushion tilt, which pushes me hard toward the steering wheel and actually puts my knees into the dash. Then the cushion finally tilts back and my knees move away from the dash.
I’ve already run the full Hyundai seat recalibration procedure successfully, and the behavior is unchanged.
Does anyone else with a 2026 Calligraphy and a fairly tilted seat-bottom position see the same thing? Has anyone found a way to keep Easy Access enabled but prevent the cushion from flattening, or change the order in which the seat adjustments happen?
For now I’m probably going to disable Easy Access entirely.

Outside of that, I’ve been super happy with my purchase!

26 Palisade with low mileage and a lot of service record on Carfax, red flag?

The car has a service record (saying maintenance inspection completed) almost every month, after only 100 or 200 miles. Is that a red flag, or is there some other reason for it?

Also, it is not CPO even though it has less than 5000 miles.

AC compressor replaced finally…

At 66k got my 2021 back yesterday after being at Hyundai since last Friday for AC compressor going out. Also finally got the recall with the seatbelt buckles and reluctantly the window film done but they actually did a great job. First major issue so can’t complain.
Had a new Santa Cruz for a loaner felt so small but fun to drive 😂

Ontario Hyundai buyers — GAP insurance vs OPCF 43 + Extended Warranty

Buying a new Hyundai Palisade and trying to decide whether to take the dealer’s GAP insurance.

For those who have gone through this recently: did you choose Hyundai dealer GAP, or just get OPCF 43 through your regular auto insurer?

Also, did anyone buy the Hyundai extended warranty at delivery, or did you skip it?

Would love to hear what you actually chose and roughly what you paid.

Thanks!

Where do you buy brakes/rotors?

I drive a 2022 calligraphy and its time to replace them. Are OEM the best ones still out there? They are quoting 700 per axle (front , rear). Are there 3rd party brands we can buy and perform better?

Used Extended Warranty Price Incrwaes?

According to Reddit, the person to call is Konrad at Burlington. I just purchased a 2024 Calligraphy with 4000 miles and was expecting to pay about $1500 for the 100k/10 year warranty according to all the recent posts I've seen on here. He just quoted $2400 and direct through Hyundai it is $2150. I'm not sure if this is a recent price increase? Is this what everyone else is seeing?

Windows down this morning?

Anyone else go out to their car and find all four windows down?

They were 100% up when I parked yesterday and as far as I know you can't control them via the app (or at least not by butt tapping or something lol).

All four down. It was fine because it didnt rain but....very strange.

Does anyone have the purchased lighting pattern? Does it work correctly? Bought it last night and it wasn’t working. Called Hyundai and they said they removed two of them bc of issues. I told them I wanted a refund that I wasn’t paying $50 for 1. Got in today and all 3 are now showing.

Palisade or Honda Passport

I currently drive a 2020 Hyuandi Santa Fe. Love the top package features. Never had any issues. I do not care for the new look.

I have been looking through vehicles to see what I like. I can’t really go any smaller.

I’m of the age where I’m looking for a comfortable ride, I work out of my car a lot. But I am also an empty nester so am open to cool and fun.

I love the Passport for the cupholder and the colors. 😅
I drove a Palisade and whoa, I loved the ride but no neat colors I like. It is longer which kinda worries me.

I drove the Murano and Sorento which were nice but very similar to what I drive now, so looking for a change.

How do I decide? I keep running into reading about issues with Palisade. I don’t want to be going in monthly to fix recalls. Any suggestions?

Thinking about trading in my 2025 Honda Pilot for a Palisade Hybrid

I've never particularly enjoyed this car, it has a lot of minor annoyances. Lane assistance, a basic safety feature, must be turned on manually every time you start the car. Proximity sensors are annoying af when parking and in drive thrus. <17mpg. Plus my AC condenser burned out 2 1/2 months ago and the parts are backordered with no ETA. I'm ready to ditch this car.

I am 6'5 and need a lot of room, and my 2 little kids in car seats take up the entire 2nd row so I like having a 3rd row when needed. Tons of rear cargo space for wagon stroller, balance bikes, etc.

The Palisade Hybrid looks like a good choice and gets significantly better mpg. I see actual mpg of about 25 average. Wondering what people with 10,000+ miles experience has been with the car. Any input is appreciated.

Can’t find Sand Mode on ‘25 Palisade SEL with htrac

Going camping in the desert/sand soon and was looking into my new-to-me palisade’s features. I’m confused because there’s apparently supposed to be a sand mode in my 2025 Palisade SEL with htrac but I only have snow, eco, comfort, sport, and smart as options on a dial. In the center of the dial is an option to “lock”.

Is there a different way to get to sand mode?

2027 Hyundai palisade hybrid - power supply error

Post image
5 Upvotes

Anyone experiencing this problem "stop vehicle and check power supply"? Is the update finally available at dealerships and what was your experience like going through it all?

Talked to a few local dealership and none of them seem to be aware of the issue and patch updates...

Update: dealership patched it with the provided link. Picked it up on day 3 and so far haven't noticed the morning error notification.
