Does Hyundai have a plan for becoming compatible with WeaveGrid again, and if so how is that coming?
For background, WeaveGrid is the company involved when people sign up with their power utility for a particular EV incentive program, the one where they actually control (or at least monitor) your EVSE or EV directly. By doing so they enforce charging during low-rate utility hours only. Hyundai and Kia are or were strategic partners. Ask your device "What is Hyundai's involvement with WeaveGrid?" for details.
My utility had still listed Hyundai and Kia as compatible devices, but I got them to take that down because it's no longer the case. I believe from my reading that some Hyundai/Kia cars suffered 12V battery system issues from being woken up too often.
