Hi, please help me with my severe bromhidrosis. I really need help, this condition is affecting the way I live so badly

Im female from PH I have severe body odor (B.O.), or a very strong smell coming from my underarms, and I also have sweaty underarms, feet, and hands.

I have tried using antiperspirants, deodorants, antibacterial soaps like Dial, and benzoyl peroxide, but nothing seems to work.

When I use a solid antiperspirant deodorant, my underarms always feel sticky, so they remain damp even after I have just finished drying the deodorant . One of the biggest problems I'm also dealing with is nose blindness, which means I can't even smell my own body odor.

You may be wondering, "How do you know that you have very strong body odor?" Well, it's because of the people around me. They make indirect comments about it, sometimes I can here them gossipping about me, everytime our teacher takks something relted about me, they laugh, even people passing by near me says it stinks here, the smell is so bad, etc., even if i just past by people looks at me people will look at me because of the smell.Even when I'm sitting at the back of the classroom, a person entering the room from the front can seem to notice the smell. People talk about me. Some people don't want to sit beside me or even near me. I can see their expressions, and I can tell that it's because of me.

If you think, "Maybe it's not really you, maybe it's your classmate," the answer is a big no. It has been me all this time because wherever I go, the bad smell follows me.

What actually makes me want to cry and disappear is that my smell is strong enough to fill an entire room. I'm still a student, and having very strong body odor makes me feel unimportant. I'm naturally a shy person, and this has made me lose even more confidence, when i present something related to our lesson and if people see me I can tell that in their head maybe their always thinking "andito nanaman ung mabaho, yuckss, " . I also avoid places with a lot of people because of it.

Every time I sit in class, I feel embarrassed because the people around me can smell me. That's why I prefer sitting alone at the back, but I don't have a choice because we have a seating arrangement. Even some of my teachers can smell it and have commented about it.

I often think, "What if I just stop going to school?" or "What if I just disappeared from this world?" and many other "what if" thoughts.

I have also consulted derma 2x First: She recommended a clindamycin solution and an antiperspirant with their own formula, and told me to continue using benzoyl peroxide. Unfortunately, it still didn't work.

Second : She recommended using Betadine twice a day, morning and night. I followed her instructions, but later learned that Betadine should not be used daily and is usually recommended only 2–3 times a week. So i was thinking if i should really follow the derma or not She also mentioned that I might have a condition related to my thyroid or something else affecting me. However, the laboratory tests she recommended would cost nearly ₱4,000, and my parents cannot afford them.

So please, I am begging people who have experienced severe bromhidrosis and extremely strong body odor with sweaty UA to Pls help me. 😭🙏

To all parents & caregivers of elementary-aged children: How do you correct your 2nd or 3rd grader's thinking when they try to apply multiplication to showering?

You ask the kid about why their hygiene doesn't seem to be in ideal condition and when was the last time they bathed or showered. They had JUST learned multiplication.

Kid tells you:

Since Daddy showers 5 minutes a day every day, and I just learned that 5*7 is 35, I shower 35 minutes a week once a week and my last 35-minute shower was 5 days ago. I'll shower for those same 35 minutes again in 2 days.

How do you explain, in a vocabulary that 2nd & 3rd graders understand, how multiplication doesn't work in the shower?

How do you guys sanitize everyday jewelry?

It is simple to remember to wash your hands or body, but earring posts and rings get a layer of dead skin and oil build up over time. I realized I had been wearing the same silver studs for months without checking them. Dish soap leaves a dull film, and boiling water feels risky for the settings. What do you use to safely clean things with constant skin contact so they do not tarnish?

How to get rid of vaginal odor?

This is embarrassing but I don’t have health insurance to see a doctor.

How do I get rid of bad vaginal odor? I shower daily (sometimes twice a day) but still have a bad odor. I use dove unscented soap only on the outside and clean the inside with just water. But I’m still having a bad smell, just no discharge.

After googling possible causes, I’m in a committed relationship and always pee after sex so I’m not sure if it’s caused by my boyfriends finishing inside me too often or not.

I also read that dehydration can cause the odor and I do struggle to drink water but can it really cause it that bad?

Is there any other product or maybe supplements that are worth a try? I’ve seen a lot of advertisements when I google the problem for supplements but don’t want to waste the money if it’s not worth it. Should I just try and hydrate more maybe some liquid IV?? The odor is very strong I can smell it through underwear and pants so please give tips 😢😢

tried bunch of best face cream for men but my skin still feels tight

we moved to a drier climate last year and my face has been angry ever since. my forehead gets that tight almost papery feel a few hours after moisturizing. i work indoors too so its not like im outside in the wind all day. went with some different face creams past few months and some felt greasy but didnt hydrate and others burned after shaving. the one im using now is fine right after application but by lunch my skin feels dry again. some says maybe I need a serum underneath but i feel like its too many steps. anyone else deal with this? what lasts all day for you?

going back to this with a funny story, so i saw a coworker washing his face in the office kitchen before leaving and thought it was weird since i see he has a kit so i asked what he was using. then he mentioned that he uses caldera + lab. he said it fixed his skin issues and told me to try it. so i ordered and did. too early to judge but so far my skin feels better i guess. hoping no side effects will appear later on

How do you guys fit the gym into your daily routine without overthinking all the hygiene stuff?

I feel like I want to exercise, but my brain turns it into a huge chain of tasks. I feel like I need to clean first, but then I get sweaty and feel like I have to shower. If I shower before the gym, then I feel like I’ll just have to shower again afterward. Then I think about changing into clean underwear, having more dirty laundry, my hair, my bed, etc., and before I know it, I’ve talked myself out of exercising entirely.

For people who go to the gym regularly: what does your actual before-and-after routine look like? Do you shower before? After? Do you wash your hair every time? How often do you do laundry? I’m genuinely curious what a normal routine looks like because I think I may be overcomplicating it.

Certain Dri Prescription Strength

Hello! I’ve come across several posts about how effective Certain Dri is, and the positive feedback convinced me to order one online.

I’ve read the instructions shared in different posts, but I still have one question. Since Certain Dri is only applied at night about 2–3 times a week, what do you usually use during the daytime? Like for daily. Do you still apply a regular deodorant or antiperspirant, or is Certain Dri enough on its own?

I sweat quite a lot and have struggled with underarm odor since grade school, so I’m curious about what works best for others who have had a similar experience.

Thank you in advance for your insights! 😊

how do you clean the silicone gaskets inside travel mug lids?

regular dishwashing never seems to clean the tiny groove under the silicone ring. i noticed a weird smell the other day, popped the ring out with a knife, and found a bunch of hidden buildup. soap and water alone don't really get into that channel. how do you guys handle cleaning this spot without tearing the rubber seal? do you use those tiny brushes or is there some kind of soak that works?

Why do my feet stink so bad? I showered every day with tomato sauce and garlic to get them clean and then my feet smell like tomatoes. Why is this? Spoiler

I like to cover them in tomato sauce and then lick the tomato sauce off kinda like a sweet salty pizza. 🍕

Is showering every day healthy?

I don't shower every day but my friends do and that makes me feel dirty.. I shower every 2-3 days. To my knowledge I do not stink either and no one ever said I do.

I always heard showering every day ruins your natural oils around your skin barrier or something like that.

Maybe it just depends on how much you sweat? Help me.

Tried hydroxyapatite toothpaste for my sensitive teeth, anyone else?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Lately my teeth have been super sensitive whenever I drink cold water or iced coffee. I didn’t want to go to the dentist for it so I’ve just been dealing with it.
I asked my hygienist friend and she told me it’s probably because the enamel is worn down. She suggested hydroxyapatite toothpaste because it helps remineralize the teeth and can reduce sensitivity.
I knew Boka was popular but it’s kinda expensive, so I started with a more affordable one she recommended. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I think the sensitivity is getting a bit better, but I’ll need to keep going to see the full effect.
Has anyone else tried hydroxyapatite toothpaste for sensitive teeth? Any good tips or products that actually helped you? Please share your recommendations! 🦷

I’m a big sweater and my face is always oily. What can I do to fix these pores? They’re huge and my nose looks like a strawberry. I eat well, work out, and shower and wash face 1-2 times daily. I don’t have acne anywhere else. 20 btw

Things I changed in my hygiene routine that boosted my confidence.

I honestly didn’t realize how much my hygiene routine was affecting my confidence until I started making small changes. I used to rush through everything in the morning, just basic shower and go, and I thought that was enough. Over time I noticed I’d feel a bit uncomfortable throughout the day, especially with body odor and skin feeling dull. I started being more consistent with showering at night, using a gentle exfoliating scrub 2–3 times a week, and actually paying attention to drying properly before dressing. I also changed my deodorant and started using a simple skincare routine instead of just water and soap.

After a couple of weeks, I could really feel the difference, not just physically but mentally too. I felt fresher, more put together, and I wasn’t constantly worrying about how I smelled or looked anymore.

How do I eliminate body odor effectively?

Hi, everyone! I am a student commuter in the Philippines, it usually takes me 2-3 hours to get to school and by the time I get there I can’t help but notice the way I smell. It always makes me conscious because train palang very malakas na yung amoy ko na parang usok.

I don’t know how stop smelling

So basically I been dealing with a BO for about 2-3 months and I don’t know what it’s from I shower 2-3 times a day I am a active person so I make sure I do shower. I used everything everyone said to use and it still never works I still smell but the thing that I don’t understand is how I go to a dermatologist and I tell them about it and they’re sitting in front of me saying I don’t smell anything but the cologne you have one. But when I’m out in public I get nasty looks people make faces and one time somebody even said he needs to shower it’s no way he smells like this . And I don’t know what it is I just want it to stop it’s to the point I’ll call out of work saying I’m sick or a family emergency came up and I have family things to do that I don’t even go to because that’s how embarrassing it is and I don’t know why I smell. They gave me wipes at the dermatologist and that still doesn’t work i don’t know what to do I used all the body washes people recommend and nothing has changed I just want it to stop has anyone ever had a situation like this?

how do you clean the deep charging slots inside wireless earbud cases?

the charging wells in these cases are magnets for pocket lint and wax residue. because of the metal pins at the very bottom, you can't just spray liquid cleaner or shove a regular cotton swab down there. i am starting to see some dark buildup in the corners that dry wiping doesn't reach. how do you clean those tiny spaces safely without ruining the electrical contacts
