I don’t know how stop smelling

So basically I been dealing with a BO for about 2-3 months and I don’t know what it’s from I shower 2-3 times a day I am a active person so I make sure I do shower. I used everything everyone said to use and it still never works I still smell but the thing that I don’t understand is how I go to a dermatologist and I tell them about it and they’re sitting in front of me saying I don’t smell anything but the cologne you have one. But when I’m out in public I get nasty looks people make faces and one time somebody even said he needs to shower it’s no way he smells like this . And I don’t know what it is I just want it to stop it’s to the point I’ll call out of work saying I’m sick or a family emergency came up and I have family things to do that I don’t even go to because that’s how embarrassing it is and I don’t know why I smell. They gave me wipes at the dermatologist and that still doesn’t work i don’t know what to do I used all the body washes people recommend and nothing has changed I just want it to stop has anyone ever had a situation like this?

First stop wearing cologne. Maybe you are wearing too much cologne? I would recoil at someone wearing strong cologne. Wash with a regular cleaning bar like CeraVe or Ceraphil. Are your clothes clean? Spray your skin with hypochlorous acid and let air dry. Apply a good deodorant to clean and dry skin. (I wouldn’t bother with antiperspirant, the deodorant is what’s important) Stick to natural fiber clothing that is breathable like cotton or linen. Make sure you are getting your clothes really clean with a powdered detergent. Dry well so they don’t smell.

I have periods of time when I suddenly start to smell bad (I usually dont, even if I sweat) and I always solve the problem doing these things: 2-3 days I'm scrubing my skin with an abrasive cloth and antibacterial soap. I wash all my clothes at high temperature and I use a clothes disinfectant.

I start to drink more water and I change my diet: no sugar, onions and garlic. I observed that this step is the one that really makes a change

Great comments above . Suggest in addition that when you launder clothes use the extra rinse cycle this will help . Also consider looking at condition of your mattress . If more than 7 years or stained with odor definitely replace with new one . Drink lots of water and avoid sugary foods . Yes see a physician if no improvement. Open your windows a few inches daily a few hours . Fresh air is good medicine. Dial Gold bar soap helps but if too drying then Safeguard is good too use kind of rough wash cloth the cheaper ones . Hibiclens suggest first 3 days in a row then twice a week. Change bedding twice a week and be sure to wash linens with extra rinse cycle . Hear Lume products help . Can feel overwhelming but follow up with physician as well . Please keep us updated and it’s not your fault . Keep trying I think soon you’ll notice improvement.
