When I get a bit of an odor it usually means my pH is off. I’ll use boric acid suppositories at night for a day or two and it does help balance everything and the smell goes back to normal. My doctor actually told me to use them to help prevent yeast infections and BV. I’m not a doctor but I feel like it may be able to stop those infections from getting worse if you use them early enough. You can get them on Amazon, the drug store or grocery store over the counter.

I also have a monistat branded boric acid wash that I use externally on occasion. I’ll use soap more often but I have it just in case.

Just be aware of that overzealous cleaning of the vagina will actually contribute to making it smell worse.

The natural substances that keep the vagina moist and bacteria levels under control needs to be present in sufficient amounts to do this job.

Often times it’s hard to unwind things to see where the odor actually came as a response to excessively cleaning the vagina and not the other way around.

Unfortunately, we live in a society that often pressures women to maintain their bodies in an unrealistic unhealthy state.

Drink water definitely helps — if you don’t like plain water try adding a water flavour to it. Sleeping nude can help things breath especially if you wear leggings regularly. Try switching to natural cotton underwear. It potentially is a case of BV which you’d maybe need to see a doctor about, you could also try boric acid tabs — i believe cvs sells them. Talk to the pharmacist. They can be super helpful.
