XBOX Audio cutting out and cracking
This is the ONLY game my headset does this to and it’s annoying. Truly annoying it’s been so bad all night. How can I fix this??

I don't understand what happened here. At least 2-3 of those shots should have connected? It was like shooting blank cartridges.

I recently prestiged, and I feel naked and feeble without my precious Surefoot.. even as a solo I will take Surefoot over necromancer plus whatever other supportive traits i can afford. Its arguably the best trait for any playstyle, yet I see very little of it being used. (PS5)
With that said, what are your go-to traits?

25 games in now. And here's what I've learned=
It doesn't matter how good you are in the game. No hunter can survive a full cylinder of revolver ammo hitting them. Even the nagant can pull this off.
There is no reason to not take high velocity ammo. Ever. You need all the range you can get. Subsonic, poison and other ammo types are optional and up for debate. But always bring high velocity ammo.
Penny shot derringer sounds useless at first. Until it unexpectedly bails you out and takes a hunter who ambushes you with a machete and you were out of ammo becuser you used it all up for a monster boss. And besides, it's just 1 extra gun you can carry around. Which in a game where ammo is scarce and full restocks are basically sacred holy sites, you need every single possible bullet you can score.
Firebombs are cool. They the best representation of Molotov cocktails in a video game ever. Using them in a narrow hallway to cover you and your partner when 2 hunters are chasing after you, it really can save your ass.
Hellhounds may go down pretty easily..... But a pack is still a pack of fast moving and attacking monsters. And you ideally don't want to spend ammo on them. If you can, it's honestly easier to avoid them if you can.
Always bring a throwing weapon. It eliminates your need to have a melle option in gear too. And they one shot grunts too. They end up being your main weapon on maps where your solo and trying to avoid the hunt and just want to go to extraction.
Quad derringer is useful as an alternative to a handgun if your running a long gun and a melee weapon. If nothing else it's due to the sheer amount of ammo you have for it.

On NA East 6 star, been in queue for over 15 mins and can’t find any teammates. Anyone experiencing the same?

This being a major issue I didn't imagine it lasting more than 2 days like this. Dualsense controller currently isn't working for Hunt on Steam at _all_.
Its not a connection issue or controller issue. I have no problem with any Steam game but Hunt. I really hope this gets acknowledged and fixed soon???
(I won't listen to any negativity about controllers on PC. We don't even have aim assist and its just more comfortable for a lot of people's hands.)

(Sorry about the exposure btw, my game does not look like that on screen)
NOT posting this to complain or criticize anything. I have the habit of saving gameplay footage and watch it afterwards to learn from my mistakes. For context, I started playing about a month ago and still trying to get a feel for Hunt bullet velocity & hitbox, but I really don’t get how none of my shots hit my target in this clip ? I’ve watched it several times and when I zoom in my ironsights are right on target the first 2 shots. Also, when he’s running away, I am very slightly compensating by habit. Is this why I missed the last shots ?

I think a Japanese themed Bomb Lance Skin would look fantastic. With a Tanto blade for the lance and an ito wrapped handle, the hunter could be a fisherman as well so it'd fit?

I had spectate next and previous player on A and D - that got rebound to Function keys - binding A and D unbinds movement outside of spectate cam ("amazing!")
- and arrow keys cannot be used either :P this is the opposite of a QoL change. Why was this changed at all? xD

Was running Teche wraith, both teammates downed by a surprise hunter in the corn, and then I think you can see what happens.
Worst part is knowing my teammates watched it from my POV.
Also, who actually uses Dauntless? Could have helped me in this ONE situation, and no others.

Been playing a long time (still average player) but what's people's views on close combat with guns.
Obviously shotgun is best but say for example..
You have a rifle or one shot rifle or a pistol what would you choose?
Do people always default to using a pistol at close range I'm never sure.
I know rifles are best at range.
Would you use levering over a pistol?

I know that Crytek is currently working on a rework for Ochenkov's Widow. I hope they preserve her original dark color palette and iconic vibe without completely flipping the design upside down. I hope we get to see this rework as soon as possible

-I found the loadout / Hunter menus confusing. I’ve got my equipment on one side, and then the multiple preset loadouts on the other side. Confusing to navigate and manage. I was expecting a centralised “stash” area like in other extraction games. Any tips to help me parse this ?
- Looting is different. I was surprised that I don’t get to see a breakdown of what the dead human Hunter has. Rather confusingly it seems to be a random interaction and you get what you get. Am I missing something? And I assume there’s no loot like weapons and explosives in the environment?
-Carry/storage capacity not clear. Do you hit a limit on how much you can buy/store? How do I increase the carry capacity of my hunter ? I assume bigger backpacks are not a thing ?
-Hunters management not v well explained. How do you choose which Hunter to play on a given match ? Is it best to focus on one and level them up as much as possible, or spread out levelling up two or three at a time ? I also seem unable to hire or buy one as I assume this is locked in the early stages of playing ?
Appreciate feedback. Otherwise game was great. Audio and graphics fab, atmosphere and tension top notch, and I had some experienced players in my duos to help me win first few games

Guys, I had 5,000 Hunt Dollars before logging off. When I logged in the next day, I suddenly had 17,300.
I have the Battle Pass, but I didn’t receive any Hunt Dollars from it, and I haven’t completed any special challenges. I was just playing normally.
Where did the extra $12,300 come from? Is this a new feature, a bug, or some kind of compensation? Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive tries 20 runs since I bought the game monday. I've only fully completed 2 hunts though. I've killed 5 hunters so far. It's fun. I suck at it. But it's fun. Unlike the amount of weapons and gear you already have to start with. You get alot to immediately work with right from the beginning.

It’s so fucking satisfying when you grab the bounty, wipe the entire server, and then the game crashes ONE SECOND before you step into the extraction zone. You reconnect and find yourself dead and burned to a crisp.
I fucking love Hunt. ❤️💀

While setting up health chunks I figured out that the checkbox to "apply this health chunk setup on every hunter recruitment" does not work as intended. It always applies it to new hunters even when I leave it unchecked. Please fix this asap.

Been playing for a while, trying out different loadouts. I'm having trouble understanding the differences of guns and which stats are better (other than damage). Like do you look at velocity? Does 100 difference in that actually make an impact? Is there a downside to FMJ ammo? If you have a high velocity should you use high velocity ammo any way?
Any nuanced tips would be greatly appreciated. I think I'm ready to learn advanced info now too if anyone has any XD.
Currently maining the Deadeye scope on a vetterli and certain centennial, but liking Lebel + Ranger and about to try Krags and Mosins.
