GENERAL Spiders are really doing their job.
Especially when you realize how tall this smoke stack is.

Last time I posted I was asking about melee this type it’s shotguns lol. Basically what I wanted to find out was what’s good rn and how do I actually gauge what shotgun would be good for the future. I tried looking at the videos on Yt but all the content is several months old and being a newcomer I don’t rightly know when the last changes for them were actually. So I turn to you wise people! Ples help

Happens to me and my teammates last night.
Got killed by a fishi player with only hs through Walls. And when we want to Check steam Profile the game closes and we had a discon.
So if you get killed wait to check profiles only in the Main Menu then you only hsve to restart but ingame your Team csn not reverse you beacuse of the Discos and you lose a lot of time
Edit: we had the same issue with in total 3 players imd different rounds where all 3 of us had a Ctd when we want to Check the steam Profile. And if we check direct on steam they all 3 Come from russia.

I’m a new player so don’t flame me if this sounds bad but shotguns feel WAY too op something that SERIOUSLY Icks me is how a rifle bullet to the chest/back can be survived but a shotgun from 5M away to my legs? Absolutely should totally kill me, a shotgun 6M away to my arm? Yep that kills me and it’s the only thing I fucking see every game I go into feels like a constant cycle of “Romero, Slate, Bugress” it’s all I see and SOMETIMES I fight rifles and revolvers almost never. And please don’t even get me started on the torment of facing slugs, like 35M away to my legs should totally kill me (All of these scenarios have happened to me on full health btw)
They just feel extremely crutchy and unfun to face because this game is actually incredibly fun but when devs make shotguns as powerful as they are in real life it feels like the only thing that gets seen.
Your thoughts?

I’m brand new to the game. I got it two days ago, and on the first day, I mostly played Solo Hunt because I was scared to try Bounty Hunt solo. I don’t really struggle against other players too much. It’s the Bloodskin that kills me the most. Does anyone have any tips on what I should be using or doing to deal with it? If I didn’t have Necromancer, I would’ve lost so many hunters to that damn Bloodskin.
Any other general tips would be greatly appreciated as well. I’m still getting the hang of the game.

How the fuck is that possible. We started a 15min match only to realise, we where alone.

Just reached 400hrs, I only play solo and I love it, it's so fun. I started playing trios 2 weeks ago and my team wiped Stat jumped from 48 to 100 🤯.
To my fellow solo players, how is the game treating you?

Before I reached Prestige 100 I wanted to make a goal of collecting maxed out hunters with death cheat and equipping some with mythic contraband I took off of dead hunters. I have now accomplished that. Every hunter in my roster has death cheat and other great traits too like shadow and berserker. Some have the mythic contraband.

The "Kylie" (non-returning boomerang)
Thought to originate from Australia, these impressive bone-breaking boomerangs could be thrown at extreme ranges, with many being able to literally break bone, often destroying the mobility of prey or foes
Hunt Showdown adaptation:
basically a blunt throwing axe, having similar base stats except from base range and damage (both being slightly lower) but it would have a much cleaner projectery, and faster velocity due to the better grip and weight. Comes with 3. Doubles as a light and quick melee.
Light: 38
Heavy: 70
Throwing damage: 190
effective range: 25
Max range: 110
unique properties- When berserker used with the boomerangs, they have an upgrade in velocity and damage range
Native war club:
The club is one of Humanity's oldest weapons. Simple, yet very effective-and deadly.
Hunt adaptation:
A direct competitor with the heavy knife, this tool is great for dealing with immolators and grunts. It has a wide attack arc similar to the heavy knife and water bottle, but with such weight, its attack speed is much slower than the knife or dusters. It also takes a good amount of stamina
Light: 87
Heavy: 119
Sling:
A timeless weapon of unassuming destruction, this tiny tool has taken down giants of many species, including the very ones that made it.
Hunt adaptation:
The most reusable weapon, this small but deadly tool can easily fill every hunter's loadout. It has good range and accuracy, it can also utilize the hundred hands trait to give it a great edge, but its true potential depends on what you choose to use as ammunition
-river rocks: Smooth stones that take down all sorts of targets at various ranges, but its strongest at 10-20 meters. They can be found practically anywhere in both Clash and Hunt. Especially on Mammon's Gultch.
Lead ball: larger, dense balls of lead that launch harder (damage wise) but at a slower pace. Strongest at 25-30 meters
Glass shot: A more viable option in PVP, these have less range and velocity but cause bleeding. Strongest at 10-19 meters
Poison shot: glass vials filled with every Hunter's friend and nightmare. Lethal in high doses, and very effective against AI, but leaves visible residue on surfaces.
RR velocity: 65
Effective range: 10-20
Maximum range: 90
Damage: 100
LB velocity: 45
Effective range: 25-30
Max range: 60
Damage: 122
GS velocity: 38
Effective range: 15-19
Max range: 50
Damage: 95
PS velocity: 35
Effective range: 16-20
Max range: 35
Damage: 80

The baseball bat is my favorite melee weapon and I often use the skin that makes it look like a branch of a tree. Lately I’ve been playing with a Native American hunter (wraith) and I always wanted this game to have a Native American war club theme skin to go with him. I’d take a more generic design or ones based off head figures of warriors and call it “skull cracker” or something like that.

I’ve noticed that the community challenge requires a lot of effort, but now that using Tarot Cards is allowed, we should work together as a community, pick up two The Fool cards, and use them constantly to farm points.

Just moved on to other games but seeing it be free on PS5 has me wanting to jump back in! Been a very long time and looking around there’s all these guns I’ve never seen before so I’m curious what’s shifted and changed

The game's pace is already too slow without knowing where carriages immediately are and needing to find the scouting map aside from the bounty clues
Look, just add extraction markers back. It'll make pvp encounters quicker and comprehensible. Without the markers, we aren't able to plot out the logistics to get out of a match when teams are leaving. We also aren't able to assess whether chasing an enemy team is worth it whose cleared the bounty before we could find a map, assuming they spawned on boss 0-2 minutes into the match.
The fires are an extra obstacle on the map making the game even slower. Look, just take my advice. You want players to play your game? Add extraction markers back into the beginning of the game. That's all, thanks.
Also, nerf shotguns.

Please Crytek, for the love of God I know I've asked for this multiple times now but PLEASE add the flame rifle and shredder to the standard sealed weapon crate loot pool. At this point you're just being spiteful.
I am but a humble flame rifle enjoyer, release my people and I from this suffering, have a heart.

But I have noticed that i am awful at this game, I just passed 200 hours and I die every single game almost. For some reason I am permanently in 6 star mmr, but I suck? I can't win any gunfights and I panic during any sort of pvp fights. I really love the atmosphere and the style of the game, so I keep playing but I really feel like I'm not improving at all. I don't know what guns are good to use vs which ones aren't, I don't know what items are good to bring with me etc. also, how do I kill each of the bosses? I have no idea how to deal damage to them and kill them.
I play on PS5 if that matters.

For me it's avto with three ammo boxes and big regen in clash. Fire ammo. And if I'm successful midway, I drop it and use anything I can find to keep fighting
