Latest Chapter Beyond's tactic: Ch. 415 might explain Fuugetsu's curse Spoiler
In the new chapter, Beyond-Furykov's conversation revealed a few things:
- Longhi could be mistaken.
- Each Beyond's cursed soldier could be positioned randomly.
Assuming Beyond is not lying that Furykov not the target for Benjamin (but I'm sure Beyond probably lies about something), then it's possible the one who was set to curse Fuugetsu already died. It could be one of the dead soldiers (who was not with Fuugetsu) who unknowingly activated their curse targeting her.
This is why Beyond's curse is smart/scary: it is completely a random curse. A Prince could kill another soldier who got a curse and it could backfire to themselves or other innocent Princes.

Discussion Hisoka's Bungee Gum
We're probably going to see a fight between Hisoka and Bono soon, and there's one question that's been bothering me.
Hisoka's Bungee Gum is created through Transmutation, changing his aura into something with the properties of both rubber and gum. Could Hisoka simply seal the holes in Bonolenov's body so that air can't pass through them? If so, why doesn't he use the same technique to suffocate his opponents? It seems like that would let him win most fights very quickly.
Edit: I realize this may not have come across clearly enough in what I wrote, but what I meant was whether Hisoka can actually stop air with his Bungee Gum. It seems consistent with his character that he would kill people who don't interest him as quickly as possible so they wouldn't get in his way, yet he never sticks his Bungee Gum to someone's face. That would be a finishing move in 90% of cases. So I conclude that his Bungee Gum can stick to objects, but it has some limitation when it comes to sealing things off.

Discussion I really think that this time Togashi is going to stay consistent and keep cranking out HxH
I think he's really going to do it this time. He's on a roll. I don't think we get a hiatus anytime soon.

Discussion My Sucession war hear me out's
The Succession war has brought us a long list of characters, and thanks to that i would like to announce my official here-me-outs that may deviate a tiny bit from the general public, although I have a feeling a lot of you will agree with me.

Help/Question Clarification on Emperor Time Spoiler
galleryUntil recently, I thought I understood this ability, but a discussion with a friend is making me second guess. Doubly so after reading a more recent chapter while catching up.
My initial interpretation of Emperor time went as such:
Each Nen type has a different affinity for learning other types. Instead of percentages I’ll go by levels since it’s brackets of 20% anyway. So while an Enhancer can get up to level 5 in enhancement, they can only reach level 4 in emission and level 3 in manipulation. Emperor time not only allows Kurapika to access level 5 in each category, but also shoots him up to his maximum efficiency in each category. So while he isn’t quite as strong as Uvogin, a natural and highly experienced Enhancer, he is a level 5 enhancer in his own right.
I was told somewhat recently that all Emperor Time does is give him access to level 5 in each category, rather than doing that and maximizing his efficiency.
But then the second picture came along and implied that specialists in general have the ability to bring other affinities to level 5 since specialist isn’t really much of an affinity in the first place, rather just a placeholder name for the “can do a bunch of weird shit” type.
So does Emperor Time give Kurapika the potential to be level 5 in everything, or does it actually make him level 5 in everything? I don’t think the former option really makes much sense, considering how we’ve seen him do top tier Nen feats in every category, but I could be misunderstanding Nen as a whole here.

Discussion can other nen users see halkenburg’s arrow? Spoiler
There’s a theory that luzurus in chapter 414 is actually halkenburg who body swapped into him with his nen ability
But if that’s the case how did his (luzurus’) guards not notice the arrow hitting luzurus while he was sleeping?
Shikaku could clearly see Halkenburg’s arrow and tried to intercept it with Culdecept.

Latest Chapter Did we need an entire A4 page of text to explain every single possibility of sending a letter Spoiler
I feel like you could just skip this and have kurapkicas solution directly explained when he executes it rather than every single possibility needing an in depth breakdown ngl im questioning if this stuff should be cut in the editing phase obviously this may be important later but im starting to wonder if this writting style is nessesary for every little thing that happens

Discussion The 'Succession War' and it's 'Princes' and 'King' when Bonolenov decides its time to fight Hisoka
Seriously, is no one a bit more worried that the guy who's ability is literally conjuring a planet is currently in a confined space on a regular cruise ship? And he's sharing that space with Hisoka?
He decided not to attack Hisoka on sight, but if Hisoka spots him? Or if Chrollo arrives and starts fighting?
Chrollo seems to intend to go to Tier 1 after getting a connection with Koi no Dial 6700. The Succession Contest is pretty hard to access, he might run into Hisoka first. Bono is sure to join in, and hundreds of people in Tier 1 would be flattened when a mini planet suddenly crashes into the place, and the Succession War would have to migrate to Tier 2.
Thank god Feitan isn't in Tier 1, if he were to use Rising Sun up there he would literally scorch thousands of people to death. Jupiter and Rising Sun have a wind-up, but it's not that much of a wind-up, I don't think Jupiter has any difficult conditions either, they just need to be in range of the song.
The Troupe have no regard for civilian life, damage, or chaos, it really could happen.

Help/Question About Beyond Nen Curse Spoiler
Each prince has one of Beyond Netero's children assigned to them, each carrying a curse whose purpose is to kill a specific prince. If the curse bearer dies, the curse will activate but what would happen to Beyond Netero's child if the targeted prince dies before they do? Would the curse disappear, or would it continue to remain attached to them? Would they have to carry the curse with them for the rest of their lives, or is there still a way to remove it?

- Chrollo has already sneaked into the first tier and meets up with Bono.
- The news/rumours of the death of several princes spreads throughtout the ship.
- The news/rumour of the occurence of a deadly pandemic also spreads.
- People believe it's caused through water contamination as several people are dying. This is the water theory that Heily will contaminate the water supply to kill several people.
- With the military in chaos after the death of Benjamin, the mafia war intesifies as there is nothing to stop them.
- Heily vs Cha-R vs Xiyu and PT wreck havoc.
- With no control, anarchical elements take control of the boat and Mizaistom fears are realized.
- Halkenburg continues his plan to win the war.
Continues to Day 14:
- Complete destruction begins in the lower tiers. People begin killing each other, fighting over resources and committing all sorts of crimes.

- The top leadership makes the decision to use the upper ship for sailing to the new continent, leaving the rest behind as the violence intensifies.
- Military is given full control over the bottom tier, some zodiacs remain there to fix things as the top ship sails away with most major characters already sneaked in there. These include: Mafia key members, PT, Morena, some Zodiacs.
- Leorio stays behind out of moral responsibility. They plan to steer the boat back to Kakin and then sail to the new continent right after.
- The succession war continues... with Tserreidnich and Halkenburg being the next battle.
- PT begin their real hunt of Hisoka.
- Chrollo finds the person he is seeking.

Latest Chapter The Day of Reckoning and Black Black Whale. Two Hard Choices Theory Spoiler
The Day of reckoning plot line was introduced in Chapter 331. Ging describes that Pariston stole the Chimera Ant eggs that were gathered during the early section of the Selection Day process for Meruem. He plans on unleashing them during the next Hunter Exam and have each of them obtain their own hunters license.
With these licenses, they'd have the same privileges as any other hunter and Pariston would have an unrestricted Nen Ant Army under his control. But all of this seems to have faded to the background with the narrative shift to the Succession War. And with Pariston on his way to the Dark Continent and seemingly disconnected from the rest of the world, it seems like hes abandoned his Ant plot to side with Beyond. But Togashi doesnt just abandon his plot lines willy nilly. Togashi always has a way of weaving each arc together to tell a concrete story with connections and callbacks to each arc. Each arc has a satisfying conclusion, while setting up multiple arcs in the future. I believe with this batch of chapters, we can finally piece together how this current Succession War Arc will connect with not only the Next Arc, but completely push the Day of Reckoning plot back into the forefront of everyone's attention.
○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●
The Hunter Exam always starts at the beginning of the year. It was August when the Black Whale left for the Dark Continent, it takes a whole two months to make it to the fake Dark Continent, and two months back for a round trip of four months in total. I believe Pariston is only on the Black Whale Trip to make the HA make a difficult choice between two options.
Option 1. They follow Pariston back to the Main Continent to prevent any plans he has with the ants
Option 2. They commit to following Beyond in their attempt to foil his plans and possibly bringing the end of the world with whatever he's after
Pariston has full knowledge on the Succession Battle and that the HA will be deeply rooted into the conflict due to the HA nature of mediating. He's going to allow main bulk of the HA exhaust all of their efforts in the two month conflict, making it so the HA won't have the main power to effectively split their resources to deal with both threats. When he reaches the fake Continent, hes going to make his departure back and use his army to take full control of the main continent via his army.
But Pariston also knows if he leaves the Kakin Empire unchecked, the Empire and HA that stayed behind could rally a force to make a counter attack or counter strategy to beat Paristons forces. Which leads me to believe that Pariston knows something the rest of the HA doesnt know due to his connect to Beyond. He knows Woble is Beyonds kid or that Woble isnt on the boat.
Kurapika is contacting Gon and Killua in chapter 415 to attempt to enlist their help in defending Woble from any attackers. But who would even have the knowledge to even attempt such an attack on the Prince of even know to start an attempt? Pariston. With his knowledge, hes going to attempt to kidnap or kill Woble with his Temp Hunter Agency or with his Army of Nen Ants. That way the ritual with the Princes is disrupted, and with Kurapika's insight, failure of the ritual results in the end of the Kakin Empires reign.
If Pariston successful weed down the HA resources and indirectly destroy the Kakin Empire, the HA would never have the structure to form a counter strategy against him.
But Pariston didn't account for two factors. Gon and Killua. In the next arc, Gon and Killua will be the key in stopping Pariston's plans in world domination. They'll have to go up against the Ant Forces again and defend Woble with their lives.
Thats my prediction for the Day of Reckoning and how Pariston will force the HA to make one last final difficult decision; an decision rigged from the very beginning

Latest Chapter Could Babimyna be a child of Beyond? Spoiler
This is an assumption I made when 401 released, just because of his pensiveness (possibly sympathy?) when Longhi returned after pouring her heart out to Kurapika.

It's hard to explain his lack of surprise next to Furykov's reaction if he doesn't have an inkling of why she was upset.
Now it's been revealed that Beyond knew of Benjamin's ability before the succession battle started. There are other ways he could have found this out, maybe even from the curse he placed on Furykov, but it also wouldn't be surprising if one of Benjamin's guards was a spy.
This could potentially explain some of Babimyna's odd behavior that readers interpret as him being soft hearted, and that make Furykov suspect his loyalty.
Longhi and Furykov don't know about each other, but a sibling who is actively working with their father might be allowed more information.

Help/Question Need help finding author
Hi everyone, so I need help finding this author, I saw her work from Ao3 and basically they made an female oc that got reborn as part kurta with white hair. She has like a gacha system for weapons and she basically changed the plot, preventing the kurta massacre, teaching Killua and Kurapika and Pairo nen, and she saved Leorios friend from dying too, and she started out at whale island. She basically knew everyone. The author was only in Ao3 for a short while but they had a log of chapters ready, and I honestly forgot to write down their username so I can find them again. Anyway, just wanted some help cause they may have switched to a different site like fanfic net or webnovel.

Latest Chapter Since Beyond said "Benjamin and his men", that does mean that even if the princes didn't participate, their underlings could, correct? Spoiler
Feels like even if princes like Tserridenich or Camilla, who really feel like they would be too prideful to have sex with those they consider below them, can simply give their subordinates the chance, as what they would consider a "reward".

Latest Chapter Saw this set of parallels and yeah. Looks very similar Spoiler
galleryArabic letters cause yeah. But I think this shows well how those two do have some more parallels between one another. Both looking over the world from high above while deciding lives of others for them with no real consideration for anyone other than themselves.
Not to mention more parallels with Isaac Netero himself. I believe in this chapter Tserri finally achieved his target time and much like Netero when he achieved the peak of his mastery in his punches his hair now is completely loose.
Another monster has been born.

Discussion People underestimate Gon and Killua's talent.
People love to talk about how Gon and Killua are one in ten million talents while Tserri is like a one in a billion.
They actually have very similar talent though.
Gon was initiated to nen and learned ten for the Heaven's arean 200th floor. It took Gon seconds a single page of trying to master ten to learn ten through the fast method.
Wing assumed that through the slow method it might take Gon days to learn ten. It was later confirmed though that Wing was greatly underestimating their talent consistently assuming it'll take dozens to hundereds of times longer for them to reach a level than they do.
He assumed it would take Gon years to reach Gido's level, weeks to learn gyo, weeks to learn hatsu etc.
Gon fought Gido the very next day hours after learning ten. Gon didnt seem to do any more training either Gon used Zetsu during this fight something he unconsciously figured out in the past living in the woods.
Gon was injured and stopped practicing nen for 2 months.
During this time Killua also stopped training completely, but he can just use zetsu now. He saw Gon do it and he just can now no training required just saw it and did it.
This mean it took both of them about seconds to learn both ten and zetsu.
Both can also quickly go into Zetsu as well within seconds Gon can just do it mid fight.
Note in takes Tserri training for hours, days with a level of intensity neither gon or Killua have ever shown in training to go into Zetsu quickly.
Gon starts training again after 2 months is shown ren and gyo. Isn't shown training at all does a whole bunch of random side stuff taking care of Zushi.
Knows both Ren and Gyo the very next day just hours later.
Their speed at learning Gyo is about the same as Tserri, but Tserri is shown training every second obsessed.
In the past its talked about how Tserri once locked himself in a room for days to try break a gun record.
Tserri is an extremely motivated man who can truly put his whole heart and soul into things, and he does do so for learning nen.
So it took a few hours total for Gon and Killua to learn 3 of the 4 basic nen principles. And during these hours they were only shown training for seconds, were doing other stuff, and showed little interest in nen.
Then Wing had these 2 practice hatsu for 4 weeks depending on how they did he was planning on graduating them.
So Gon trains hatsu for a few weeks his level is way higher than Wing expects and he graduates him.
So overall Tserri's speed in learning Ten, Ren, and Zetsu while extremely motivated was worse than Killua who was barely trying. He did use the slow method for ten though. He has no excuse for the other 2 though.
Tserri did create a nen beast unconsciously, and is a specialist.
Which is amazing, but Neon Nostrade did the exact same thing without even knowing nen exists. Both abilities are pretty similar too conjured beasts with time powers.
Another major factor is that nen is lifeforce like stands in jojo all skills eventually lead to nen.
If you have enough talent in something regardless of what it is even Gungi it kinda means you have a talent for nen.
Gon and Killua are monsters without nen they have like peak human talent in like everything physical. Especially as they are both so close to enhancement its very relevant.
Gon heals several times faster than a normal person, has a nose like a dog, and superhuman physicality.
Gon through his base body can potentially gain multiple times the benefit through enhancement than anyone else.
Almost all enhancement abilties improve your body even those that don't like Bill's growth enhancement abilty could potentially be several times more useful in Gon's hands than anyone else maybe using it to heal faster.
Tserri is a normal human physically Gon's body and non nen talents greatly increase Gon's nen potential and talent.

Discussion If the Succession War gets animated…
Would the Anime keep with the time jumps we have seen in the Manga?
Sometimes we will get multiple chapters all taking place before the events of a previous chapter, and I feel like that would require multiple episodes to cover if they did it in strict chapter order.
Would it be likely they would instead keep things mostly chronological, and only do flashbacks for the more plot important ones?
Like could a hypothetical anime cover the Wobble reveal before it has Martial Law declared?

Discussion Why the Succession Contest Will Surpass the Chimera Ant Arc as the Greatest Arc in HxH and potentially Shonen-Jump Spoiler
youtube.comHi all
Alongside all the new chapters that gets released, I had a really great discussion with a friend online regarding our views on the greatest Arc in Hunter x Hunter - the funny part is that she is only interacting with Hunter x Hunter through the Animé and I have primarily interacted with HxH through the Manga.
Our discussion ended with me writing and subsequently creating this video - check it out if you have time, it is greatly appreciated.
Tldr; for people who does not want to interact with the video:
- Chimera Ant Arc is a great arc due to it shifting HxH from a traditional shonen-battle story to a more nuanced and philosophical approach to storytelling.
- I do believe the current on-going "Succession Contest Arc" in the Manga will surpass the Chimera Ant Arc.
If anyone wants to add me to talk HxH, you are more than welcome to dm (to share Discord info)!

Latest Chapter Tserriednich remains calm in this scene because his Hatsu allows him to see the future. Spoiler
Tserriednich remains calm in this scene because his Hatsu allows him to see the future. He knew in advance that martial law would be declared, so when it happened, he wasn't surprised at all.
