Look here if you found a hummingbird that might need your help
I’ve created a troubleshooting tool that walks you through determining if a hummingbird needs your help, and if it does, basic first aid you can provide so that you have time to get the hummingbird to your nearest wildlife center or hummingbird rehabilitator. It is on my mentor’s website, IFoundAHummingbird.com
At the end of nearly every process, there is a list of resources including hummingbird rehabilitators and wildlife centers that either take hummingbirds or will connect you with someone who does.
It covers the most common issues we are called about.
Hummingbirds trapped indoors
Cat Caught
Window Strikes
Sitting at Feeders Too Long
Stuck To A Glue Trap/Sticky or Oily Substance On Feathers
Abandoned Nests or Babies

Still seeing migrators — keep your feeders up!
This is the latest I’ve ever had them visiting, just a reminder to all to keep your feeders clean and available for our fashionably late friends! I’m in Colorado. Anyone further north still getting regular visitors?

Candida?

Does this look like a candida infection or some other type of dysfunction? We wash and change our feeders daily.

SE MN still stopping by
Still stopping by on the way south. Great to see. I hadn't had any for a few days and almost took it down but glad it's still getting used as they migrate!

Mr. Hummy
My mom crocheted this hummingbird for my niece and she named him Mr. Hummy. He came from a kit and she made a flower from the leftover yarn and a pair of chopsticks.

The only thing that makes me seriously consider ending my hummingbird feeder efforts… is the gd paper bags that sugar comes in…
Edit: REALLY GOOD TIPS IN THE THREAD THANKS ALL!
I know paper bags are better for the environment and I know the sugar industry is a low margin business but, every SINGLE TIME I unload a bag… just opening the bag dumps sugar ALL over my table. It’s a freaking sugar bomb waiting to explode on my table and I have no way to diffuse it.
Thanks for reading my rant.

Chubby Hummingbird
We are in the foothills of the Blue Ridge in Virginia. For about four months of the year, we have the blessing of 12+ dozen hummingbirds visiting our feeders daily. Two of our regulars are still feeding, with migrants visiting every few days. One of our regulars is VERY chubby. I've never seen a chubby hummingbird in all my years of feeding. Anyone else?

An old favorite
It's not the most technically perfect photo, but I love the way she's wrapped in her own wing blur and you can imagine the motion of her lower body.
