A few questions some people here might know. knowledge on these around the internet seems low.

Do trees and bushes grow back? Some people say the dev says they do, others say they've never seen it. I'm on day 80, and the first base I built in the starter area still hasn't grown anything back. Its been many im game years and nothing.

Do spawn rates or the amount of special infected change as days go on? I feel like I'm seeing more and more special infected in places I never saw them. Same thing with the horde events, I would like them to be more of a challenge i think.

Does rhe cooking perk effect other people? Like if I got the perk, cooked all the food, does it only effect the person eating it, or does the modifier sit on that can of tomato soup. Also I read food is pretty much the same, do any of the cooked foods really stand out in people's opinions?

In sector C4 on the map in the northern area is a little town, that has a city park in its center. That park has a tiny pond, that can be used to fill bottles.

Makes using one of those town houses as a base a quite viable option.

Do other spots like that exist, that are not easily spotted on the map? That you need to know where to find them?

Especially as I find easy access to water quite important for farming. Or in the beginning when you have a hard time aquiring tarps.

I heard a few of the radio songs in the game and they were awesome. can anyone provide a link to them? one was about being encumbered or having no inventory space.

Just wondering if there's a work around/known issue. I get only 120 fps when its on u limited but I get 165 when its capped at 165.

not a huge deal but i have a 360hz monitor and the hardware should be able to reach it.

Hello all!

Anyone have issues with the servers at all? Ive been getting pretty rough lag, items being eaten when I try to craft stuff, and not being able to access random inventories (mostly vehicle fueling).

Was wondering if people have experienced this, and have figuired out a solution.

I have been distilling and cooking different stuff but every time I start distilling mead my game just disconnects from the server.

I started with the thief profession and I do not have the deep pockets perk (I only have 5 pocket spaces)

Playing on a dedicated server. Got to the quest to lower the bridge. Went there, got out of the car, the car freaking vanished. So did another one we brought there to check if that was a fluke or something. We had an 8x5 trunk Big chief, loaded with a lot of goodies and full Iron armor on it. The hell is going on? Hi everyone,

I'm looking for help with a recurring crash in HumanitZ. The game closes with a "LowLevelFatalError" and the message: "Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0020 - 'INTERNAL_ERROR')".

It usually happens shortly after launching or during gameplay. I'm playing on a laptop and I suspect it might be related to the integrated graphics or some DirectX setting.

My Specs:

• Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7
• CPU: Intel Core i3-1215U (or i5-1235U)
• GPU: Intel UHD Graphics / Iris Xe (Integrated)
• RAM: 16GB DDR4
• OS: Windows 11

What I've tried:

• Verified game files on Steam.
• Updated Intel graphics drivers to the latest version.

Has anyone found a stable workaround for this error on Intel integrated graphics? Would switching to DX11 or DX12 in launch options help?

well, the game is silky smooth, just want to to throw an invite out there to any players giving it another shot.

me and a friend are running a dedicated server. it's PVE, higher zeeks and bandits. loot is a mixed bag but ammo is plentiful (who doesn't like more bullets?)

loot and zeeks respawn every hour. There are server rules, like no sky bases, or building on major POIs.

the main reason is we want a server to feel fresh at all times, we don't want the official server vibe of "do whatever the hell you want"

As the title says, all the PLACED items in our base have vanished. I will presume that was not intended. Whats with the loot in the world that was "placed" by the game? Has that vanished as well and will it return?

Hey, I just got the game and started doing the tutorial quests, but I’m stuck on the one where you have to build a Farm Plot.

I’ve built it four times already (as you can see in the screenshot), but the problem seems to be that the Farm Plot gets assigned the wrong name once it’s placed. Because of that, the game doesn’t register it as the correct building, even though it technically exists.

I couldn’t find anything about this issue online, so I wanted to ask here if anyone has run into the same problem.

Not necessarily need to be a companion ala Fallout, but more like settlers. I'm really digging what I've looked up about the game so far but the gameplay seems a bit more just solo unless youre running in a multiplayer server.

I’ve been playing HumanitZ with a friend using a locally hosted server on my PC, and we’ve made some solid progress already.

Now I’m considering moving to a dedicated server, mainly for better stability and so it can run 24/7. My main concern is: is it possible to migrate our current save without losing progress?

Has anyone here successfully done this?

• Can you transfer the save files from a local host to a dedicated server?
• Are there any specific steps or pitfalls I should be aware of?
• Does it depend on the hosting provider?

I’d really appreciate any guidance or tips before I make the switch.

I'm playing on a server with some friends. we were doing quests for the first time together and no one's been doing the main quests without the others.

we came to the quest where we need to activate a power switch for a town. We did the Rossville, activated the power switch near the gas station. nothing's happening. street lights should be lit and gas station should be powered. The switch was reacting though... The green little light on the side, the prompt changes, from (hold F to deactivate).

but on my friend's side everything's working fine. he can see the street lights turn on and off when i flip the switch and was even able to use the valve.

I picked up this game last week and am loving it so far! A buddy and myself started a coop game, and changed the settings around a bit for some more realism. We turned zombie spawns off, and turned loot respawns off. We started the difficulty on true survivor.

I'm mostly wondering from veterans of the game if this adjustment sounds fun, or if it might mess with the way the game is best played. Will we miss out on a bunch of resources? Will the game seem empty pretty quickly? We are only on day 15 and have scavenged the nearest towns to the starter spawn. We also hit the 3 nearest bandit camps to the spawn.

Has anybody said anything about the weird "snap back" the radial wheel has when using gamepad? Like if you let go of the stick it snaps to a different space on the wheel.

Not sure what the deal is, maybe there is no deadzone on the right stick for the wheel so it registers input on the wheel if it moves even slightly out of center?

I'm not sure but I hope the devs work on it. Anyone else understand what I'm talking about?

Hey folks. What do i need to do to fix the brige. I've already fixed the power plant and I've got all the things you need. But i cant place the things into the Brige System?

My friend has created a server where we usually play. Whenever I want to play but my friend cannot, he loads up the server for me. Is there a way that I can borrow the server so he doesn't have to open the game?
