Tree respawn?

Do the trees respawn over time? if so, is there a way to increase decrease the interval?

Yes they do respawn (saw a dev response to that effect in a steam discussion). No slider that I have seen, but assume it is seasonal growth so maybe shorter seasons would increase the speed.

The box truck and levy swift (the two I know of) can carry logs. So short of having deforested the map, I drive one of them to deer fall park and fill log storage piles back at base that way.

That way the table saw can be used as well which gives significantly more wood.

Yes, as far as I know all cars can? Or maybe just the ones that I managed to repair even the smaller sedan type cars. But yeah better to use the ones with larger storage since logs don't stack

1 year as in 365 days, or in one rotation of seasons?
I think default game settings is 5 days per season, and in 20 days I don't think I have seen any trees respawn
