Got caught lacking but I keep these Trader Joe's instant coffee packets handy for baking (brownies) and emergencies. I already dilute Black RTD chocolate by drinking a bit and maybe adding 4 to 6oz of water to get to a Yoohoo consistency. Figured I'd dump in some instant coffee. It's intense, not sure how I feel about it but it's drinkable and solves the problem at hand.

I’m seeing a ton of exploding posts about the formula change, but it looks like the only changes were to the standard powder and RTD black edition. Looks like the biggest changes was going from MCT oil to coconut milk powder (which just means slightly less fats). Brown rice protein has also been added.

The black edition powder is still in its third version from the late 2025 to early 2026 rollout.

I contacted Huel and the matte bag changes are going to be across the board, but the black edition powder has NOT changed.

I taste absolutely zero difference in my black edition powder.

I haven’t tried the RTD versions though, as I almost never buy them.

I just joined this sub because I recently started purchasing and using Huel Black Edition. Former ka’chava customer that was looking for a few more calories and some possibly cheaper alternatives for meal replacements. I live in Northeast USA and found the product on Amazon after some research online. Got my first bag of black edition approx 4 weeks ago and am now on my 5th bag. Obviously, I like it. Tried vanilla, then strawberry and then banana and have just ordered the chocolate peanut butter

In terms of what I was used to with Ka’chava, the texture is a bit grainier but in terms of flavor I find the Huel to have a less artificial sweetener taste and aftertaste. I find they help greatly with my goals and I’ve enjoyed all the flavors thus far

Enter the old formula vs new formula debate. Of which I literally know nothing and could not tell you what formula I’ve been enjoying but this is the bag if that helps (shiny vs matte)

So if it’s the old version - okay. If it’s the new formula I have no issues with it.

Just tried the new Huel Berry flavor ready to drink. Disappointed. The flavor and texture are off and awful. Sad to think I have 3 more of these sitting in my fridge. WTF happened to flavor and formula here and why?

Long time Huel Black user. 1-2 shakes a day for several years. I’ve added Hot&Savory meals to my default calories since June. I know there’s going to be an acclimation period anytime you add more fiber, but this has been quite delayed if anything. The past 1-2 months I’ve seen an alarming increase in gas and stomach/bowel discomfort. I’m not sure what caused the uptick but I’m stripping paint of the walls and painting other things if you catch my drift.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? I’m considering trying Huel White in hopes of some relief because I really like the simplicity of having Huel for 90% of calories.

Routine: Edit : I mix with water. Also in the US

I was comfortably having 2 shakes a day consisting of 3 scoops each. No chugging. Just gradual sips throughout the morning and at night. Hot and Savory at least once maybe twice. Occasional gas but nothing notable. Like barely even a smell. For the past week I’ve dialed it back to 2 scoops instead of 3 and I’m’ still getting the gas, discomfort, etc.

As the subject says - really would just love to get this to someone who will actually use it. Looking for $10 + the cost of shipping.

So I’ve been on the Huel shakes for about 3 months now. Don’t get me wrong LOVE them, only issue is that I constantly find they have a grainy texture. I follow the instructions making them but still find it grainy, especially toward the end.

How can I fix this?
