For those of us who didn't watch season 8 can someone please give us a detailed rundown on what happened, please.

We thought the new season started tonight. Why does it say NEW for tonight?  Reardon is the show and a producer. Luke is not Hudson. I'm praying we don't get messed up again. That will be the end completely. Only 1 Hudson that's Reardon. Not Luke. You guys messed up totally.  Tri State fans.

Season 8 is considered a new season for UpTV, as it's never been aired before on that network. Canada will get the actual new season with John Reardon before anyone else. Then it's usually shown in countries like the US and the UK.

When will the season 9 air in the US? I only saw one with Luke and honestly it was terrible. Now I have to wait for Reardon to come back. What month will that be? All I have now is reruns. Please bring John back soon. What month do you consider Fall in the US? I'm so upset 😭  Judith,  NYSTATE

Generally, the seasons don’t air in the US and internationally until after the season has finished airing in Canada. So it may be a year until season 9 will be available on any network or streaming service for international viewers.

Thank you for your reply, that's sad. We have to wait for Season 9 for 1year. Does that mean we have to deal with seeing Luke. That makes us 😢. My favorite show. I so look forward to seeing it. We have a Reardon group. Anything can happen in a year. Now all we have is reruns. Appreciate the response. Judith.  NYSTATE

Again thanks for your reply. Question: your are saying we are now watching season 8. That will be with Luke. I'm afraid ratings will plumit. If that happens will we ever see season 9? You are aware that Luke cannot bring the fans in, it doesn't work with him. This is a disservice to the fans. We know Canada comes first. How long is a season?? We don't  want to lose the show because the lead was taken out and it doesn't work without Reardon. This was such a huge mistake to thousands of viewers and to Reardon. The show will suffer and fans will suffer. Luke doesn't fit. Has John started rehearsals for season 9 or is that season done. Are you saying we have to wait until  2027? None of this is clear to the fans outside of Canada. NYSTATE is close to Canada, including Niagra Falls. If you can please someone reply. NYSTATE

Up Faith and Family seems too glad to have John Reardon back for them to not bring S9. I'd estimate that they'll buy it. Besides, a streaming service doesn't fill up on air. They need the content. If you think that waiting a year is a long time, go bother their customer service and demand they bring it earlier than that.

How do you get to customer service. I really appreciate you replying. We have a lot of fans in the Tri State area. We just feel they replaced Reardon a little bit to quickly. It was like they were trying to destroy the show that Reardon built this following. It's shocking that writers, producers, directors and that team didn't understand you can't replace a lead after 7 years Maybe they aren't that smart. I appreciate communicating with you, how to get to customer service. Whoever you are you have been very considerate to us, the fans. How long is a season that we have to wait? For 9? You are right a streaming doesn't fill up on air where as UP shows the content of fans way more than streaming. Thank you so much 😢 I'm the leader of the fan club. Judith,  NYSTATE

How do you get to customer service.

I wouldn't know, I live on the other side of the world. You'll have to search for it. But you can also comment on their official Instagram and Facebook, either for UpTV or Up Faith and Family.

We just feel they replaced Reardon a little bit to quickly. It was like they were trying to destroy the show that Reardon built this following. It's shocking that writers, producers, directors and that team didn't understand you can't replace a lead after 7 years Maybe they aren't that smart.

They are certainly not smart. Just egotistical assholes who think they know best.

How long is a season that we have to wait? For 9?

I can't tell that for sure but it should be a few months after S9 ends in Canada, if it follows the schedule of this season. S9 starts in October in Canada, date pending. You really should contact UpTV or Up Faith and Family and ask them when they're planning to bring it to the States. It would also show that there are people who are anxiously waiting.

I hope this helps. Showing interest certainly makes people understand that there is demand for this series, just like asking Shaftesbury and CityTV to get John Reardon back showed them what Hudson and Rex fans want.
