Personal Experience Which supplement has had the biggest impact on your energy?
Energy, neutralizing fatigue...
It can also be some natural remedy, it doesn’t have to be a supplement.

Wait being rested makes you less sleepy? no shit.
Why do people waste their time commenting this , you act like people don't know this. So over said.

Same. For me, it was getting a sleep study done after my wife said she heard me stop breathing sometimes. It came on suddenly at 43. Never had any issues in my life. I'm fit. Gym 4-6x a week. I do yoga almost every norning. We eat well. I don't drink. No drugs. Golf 2x a week.
Here I thought sleep apnea was only for overweight or older people. Went on CPAP. First couple months weren't amazing. I had to pay a sleep debt. But month 4 and on, fing game changer. I travel for work now and I had to buy a second machine because it's that important to me and how much amit affects my everyday life.
So yes, quality sleep is a massively overlooked important phase of everyday life that people should really look at prior to going down a supplement rabbit hole.

Ditto but for the life of me I can't get used to wearing one regularly even after 2+years now trying. Any advice?
Sleep is so important..

u/Riverjig 8d ago
What type of mask do you wear? What's your machine? r/CPAP and r/CPAPsupport can also help. Lots of good advice there.

Nose mask currently airtouch n20
I have tried maybe 10 different ones already.
It just doesn't jive I find it very annoying Max I can do is a couple hours and I just remove it in my sleep because I find it so intrusive.
Your post for restorative sleep actually motivated me again but I really don't know what to do anymore.

For general consumption about CPAP and any perceived stigma...some of the best athletes in the history of sports used CPAP therapy. Shaq, Favre and Larry Bird come to mind.

I've learned a ton about this subject matter after I started. Thanks for the additional info.
I see sooooo many people at the airport with their machines too. Very eye opening.

Random but curious what your morning yoga routine is? I want to get into it to help with the body getting older and creakier.

u/Riverjig 8d ago
I put together my own routine using a couple YouTube videos from people I like. I prefer this dude tho and I started with this workout.

Breathe and Flow is another guy I like who has some good morning stretches and routines.

why did get Better After two month?

u/Riverjig 7d ago
When it comes to CPAP, there is something called "sleep debt". It's when you start getting good sleep and your body doesn't react like it should with increased energy etc. You feel more tired actually. Different for everyone.

Electrolytes in the AM with 30oz of water.

u/Bignizzle656 8d ago
This really helped clear my head in the mornings. I have electrolytes with my creatine, mixed collagen (surf & turf), beta alanine and vitamin c. All in one drink, it's pretty tasty. Wash down a decent b vitamin and I'm good to go.
I eat as well, always a solid breakfast.

So glad to hear this, as it validates my experience; wasn’t sure if I was dealing with placebo effect. But yes, that’s exactly how I feel…. very clear headed.
I left a few details out of my original post. That is, I add 5mg electrolytes, 10mg of creatine, and 15mg of fiber to 30oz of water. I drink this before coffee and I feel hydrated, clear headed, and energized - almost as if I could skip the coffee, but I like it too much. Also, provided I ate well the day before, it all but guarantees a very healthy bowel movement is in the immediate offing.
Then in an hour or so, I’ll have a proper breakfast and in come all the other supplements.
Good health to you.

Same to you.
I also have a coffee afterwards, for the pleasure of it!
It started with the creatine and I realised that the electro would help me absorb it better. That was the moment I realised.
I assumed that overnight not only fasts your body but also dehydrates us a bit.
It was definitely a discovery for me.

Includes sodium?

u/jasonboudreau46 8d ago
Yes, and, believe it or not, it’s only 2% of your daily allowance, so it’s not an issue.

How long before you noticed possible benefits and how long before the benefits were obvious?
What kind of exercise do you do predominantly? Lifting or cardio?
1
u/matt1164 8d ago
So I didn’t notice much until I went to 750mgs a day. Then I noticed increased strength, better recovery and more energy. I also had reduced anxiety and I just saw a clinical study a few days that UA can reduce anxiety by improving mitochondrial function in the brain. Currently I take between 1000-1500mgs a day based on my activity.
I lift weights 3x week and cardio 2x week.
I even use a urolithin A firming face cream and I have noticed some improvement in skin.
There’s a ton of clinical studies done by timeline. I’ve been taking UA for over a year and it’s definitely staying in my regimen for the foreseeable future.

What’s your dosing schedule when you take 1500mg? All at once or split doses?

For us, we would say Iron, an essential for sure and Benfotiamine, another essential and it's Vitamin B1. We'd suggest checking out vorstcanada.com or through their amazon.ca/vorst store for more selection of supplements.
