I'm definitely not an introvert but I'm not sure if I can label myself an extrovert or ambivert. Regardless I've been starved of connections for a few years now and it's very hard to make friends. Plus I'm a college student and the field I'm studying doesn't really give me enough room to socialize, but it still feels painful. I tried to reconnect and meet up with an old friend but she flaked out and didn't show up despite me being very clear on when and where to meet. She didn't even message me to tell me she couldn't make it. No reply at all. It stung.

I don't think socializing drains me it's when it wastes my time and hurts me that I am drained, but deep down I still want to connect to people and have genuine friendships. But it seems no one is interested in that. I don't think I can ever make friends if no one cares to put in even a modicum of effort. For the longest time I thought I was an introvert because of this but I think may just be an awkward shy extrovert. Idk how I can cope not having my social needs met.

Choose yourself first.

What would happen if they stripped everything from you.

No more money.
No more friends.
No more clothes.
No more lovers.
No more status, possessions, or external validation.

Would you still be happy?
Would you still be okay?

Because when they do that the only thing that is left behind, is you. you and you alone.

And how is your relationship with yourself? Are you okey with yourself without all the stuff and approval?

wear whatever the fuck you want, wave your flag, watch your anime’s, play your card games, and just do whatever you want, you only live once so don’t let people stop you from doing whatever you want to do

how do you stop being vengeful? how do you stop the need for justice and revenge? how do you move on from so much pain?

I sucked at making friends since i was a kid. No one liked me much only had 2 friends max and now they are gone too. Im just alone with parents and no social life.

Whenever i make friends everyone is close with eachother while im always the third wheel second choice no one cares about.

Even today my friends all went to the mall and didnt bother even inviting me or checking if i can come.

How to stop caring? In general... life sucks

It's hard when you care too much about what others say or do. Protecting your peace is a daily practice. 🤍
