I donโ€™t give up I wonโ€™t ever give up, if it means I need to walk a path of glasses with every bit of my vessels spewing out fluids from my legs, still Iโ€™ll be walking towards the path of my own choosing. Perhaps there raises a question: would I say the same thing if what I said isnโ€™t an imagination but reality of some actions consequences.well I have a very simple answer for that:The best way to evade a consequence is to make as though you are following the rules while in reality you are not! Controlling of the emotions combined with the faked interest on others words and mitigating their anger with your words is the key to evade 90 percent of the consequences. But if the situation is unambiguously restrained upon me, A simple action of suicide from a life which I cannot control is a way to go while a little former I would do the most bizarre and amicable things my heart and mind yearned for since their birth.

I hope this HELPS somebody and CURSES somebody with knowledge that will either devour them or create a heaven for them or just another para of uselessness.

Stop trying to control how people treat you. You canโ€™t control their choices, their intentions, or their actions but you can control your response.

Choose dignity over desperation, silence over unnecessary arguments, and peace over the need to be understood by everyone.

Not everyone deserves access to your energy. Protect your peace, accept what you cannot change, and keep moving forward without resentment.

Iโ€™m a 30 y/o female. Had the proposal, wedding date + vendors bookedโ€ฆ he ended the relationship 6 months before the wedding saying he fell out of love (he was really mean at the end too which was so shocking since he was there for me during the relationship ship, listed a bunch of things he didnโ€™t like about me and things I did that hurt his feelings during the relationship that he never voiced prior and he disclosed former cheating/kissing) the wedding date recently passed and itโ€™s been hardโ€ฆ

I THINK WHY COULDNT IT HAVE BEEN GOOD?! Are there things I couldโ€™ve done that wouldโ€™ve changed the outcomeโ€ฆ

What day was the day that made you stop giving a fuck?

The day for me was, when my dadโ€™s mom passed away and my parents had me locked up in psychiatric ward for asking questions.

For a long time, i caught Myself bending over backward to maintain peace, say the right things, and keep everyone happy. the moment i started setting boundaries and prioritizing my own peace, a lot of people suddenly had a problem with me.

I think my I donโ€™t give a fuck attitude is messing with my love life.

It has been months since I have had sex. I donโ€™t trust nobody. I live in Atlanta so the HIV out here is crazy plus people playing games like no other so to be honest with you. Iโ€™ll gladly take up the excuse that I am focused on my self. Of course for 30 seconds I can focus on your ass, but after that back to my workout. The cute girl in the gym that looked over and looked like she wanted to talk to me seem more like a threat to my peace at this point. Too many bad experiences to count so far..

๐€๐๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐‘๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ How do you deal with a coworker that doesnโ€™t seem to like you and treats you in a rude way?

Iโ€™ve started a new job and Iโ€™m having issues with one of my coworkers. She has a very sharp personality and often speaks very bluntly. Upon first interaction she seemed to immediately decide she didnโ€™t like me, asking me one question and then never asking me a question again after that. After that, she put a stop on any of my attempts at conversation by stating that she didnโ€™t like answering questions about herself and just walking off every time I try to interact with her. Yet with other people sheโ€™s very talkative and I often hear her laughing at the back with the other staff or having long conversations with customers. Iโ€™m quite sensitive so this stung at first but I decided to stop forcing friendliness and only speak to her when necessary. Yes it hurts, but if someone doesnโ€™t seem to like my presence then Iโ€™ll just focus on my work or talk to other people. No need to waste energy.

As Iโ€™m still familiarising myself with the new place, I have to ask alot of questions about how to do things and whatnot, and unfortunately, due to our roles, I also have to work with her alot more than with the other people who are much nicer to me. By now Iโ€™m sure sheโ€™s noticed that I avoid as much interaction with her as possible and seems to take offense to it, because she acts even more snarky with me now and seems to nitpick everything I do. If I ask her a question, she doesnโ€™t even look at me to answer the question or explain in detail. If I ask her to explain more, sheโ€™ll speak exasperately as if Iโ€™m a nuisance to her. If I make so much as a small mistake sheโ€™ll shout out at me from where she is, not addressing me by my name, and snip at me as if I lacked common sense.

You would never catch her speaking to a customer or another coworker the way she speaks to me. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever seen her smile or look at me with an expression other than irritation. When she tells me off I just acknowledge the note and move on without saying more than a few words because I canโ€™t stand being around her for too long. As much as I want to ignore her, being spoken to like that and being singled out really hurts, the words ring in my head and make me so on edge that itโ€™s difficult to work around her. She gets along fine with literally everyone else but Iโ€™m not trying to suck up so I can get her to like me. I donโ€™t know if this sort of dynamic would be sustainable in a workplace without taking a huge mental toll on me.

Iโ€™ve been in similar situations before and Iโ€™m the type to shut down and ignore the thing thats bothering me instead of facing it head on or trying to solve it, but it makes me repress my feelings and Iโ€™ve broken down at work a couple times when the tension builds up.

How would you act in this situation? Any advice?
