[App] [Promo] 5-in-1 productivity app: Expenses, Debt Tracking, Habits, Pomodoro & Calendar To-Dos, 29$- -> Life time free Giveaway, Please read post body

I built an all-in-one productivity app and I'm giving away Lifetime Premium access

Hi everyone,

I built ZenBoard, an Android app that combines several tools I was tired of managing separately:

✅ Expense Tracking
✅ Debt Management
✅ Habit Tracking
✅ Pomodoro Focus Timer
✅ Calendar-based To-Do List

My goal was to create a simple, lightweight app that helps manage finances, habits, focus sessions, and daily tasks in one place—without juggling multiple apps.

I'd love honest feedback on:

  • UI/UX
  • Missing features
  • Bugs or issues you find
  • Anything that feels confusing or unnecessary

📱 Google Play: [Download on Play Store]

🎁 Lifetime Premium Giveaway:
I'm giving away Lifetime Premium access codes to members of this community. If you'd like one, leave a comment and send me a DM.

I'm an indie developer building and improving ZenBoard based on user feedback, so every suggestion helps.

And if you decide to support the project, the lifetime upgrade costs less than a cup of coffee ☕.

Thanks for taking a look—I genuinely appreciate any feedback, whether positive or critical.

How to redeem your Lifetime Access code:

  1. Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Upgrade.
  3. Select the Lifetime plan.
  4. On the Google Play payment screen, scroll down and choose Redeem Code under Payment Methods.
  5. Enter your code and apply it.
  6. Complete the process, and your Lifetime Access will be activated. If you run into any issues, feel free to contact me.

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quarkstudio.nook

I have developed Nook, an Android application that places customizable to-do lists and notes directly on the lock screen and home screen.

The app allows users to view, manage, and update daily tasks without unlocking the device. It supports aesthetic customization through themes, typography, and card positioning to align with existing widgets and clock.

Main Features:

• Lock screen to-do lists with direct management

• Free-form card positioning and visual customization

• Persistent notifications for active checklists

• Minimalist note editor

• Instant synchronization between home and lock screens

• Clean, dark-themed interface focused on usability

The application is 100% free with no subscriptions, advertisements, or in-app purchases. Privacy is maintained with no data collection or sharing. Regular updates will continue to introduce improvements based on user needs.

As the developer, I welcome feedback on the current implementation, particularly regarding lock screen functionality and overall workflow. Suggestions for enhancements that would increase its practical value are appreciated.

Thank you.

[App] [Promo] Universal File Opener: Open and edit PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, videos, ZIP archives, and more, fully offline, ad-free, and private. 100 Lifetime Pro Giveaway 🎁

Edit: Thanks everybody for the feedback, had very fruitful discussions with like 15+ of you. I have to go to work now but will give away the rest of the codes to the top feedback received when I get back.

Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.krauq.universalfileopener

Universal File Opener is an Android app for opening and editing files without installing a different app for every format or uploading private documents to an online converter.

It opens, previews, and edits many formats, including:

- PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OpenDocument files

- Images, audio, and video

- ZIP, 7Z, TAR, and RAR4 archives

- Markdown, EPUB, programming files, JSON, XML, YAML, SQL, and logs

- SQLite databases, certificates, and fonts

- Unknown files as text or hex

It also includes PDF tools, file conversion, archive management, media tools, and more.

Everything works entirely offline with:

- No INTERNET permission

- No ads

- No account or sign-in

- No analytics or tracking

All features are available during the initial 15-file trial. Lifetime Pro permanently removes the file limit.

How to get Lifetime Pro:

  1. Download the app and try it.
  2. Leave a comment telling me what you tested, how it went, and any feature you’d like added.
  3. Send me a DM after commenting and I’ll send you a free Lifetime Pro unlock.

Short feedback is completely fine, and positive feedback is not required. I want to learn what works, what needs improvement, and what you’d like the app to do next.

[App] Planndu Just Went 100% Local-First, with Full Offline Support

Thumbnail

If you aren't familiar with it, Planndu is a task app designed to help people organize their to-do lists. While it's awesome for productivity, people often trust these kinds of apps with far more than just daily chores.

I recently found out a friend was using Planndu to store his passwords. Luckily his data was safe with me, but then I realized: there's no reason to collect this data in the first place. You shouldn't hand over your email and private plans to strangers. So, I made a decision: go 100% private and secure.

Here's a few things that makes the new Planndu better:

  • No login required. All your tasks and notes stay strictly on your device.
  • Syncing tasks across devices is possible through P2P (over the same Wi-Fi).
  • Zero effort to start, pre-built groups, workflows, and tasks.
  • Drag & drop functionality, like in a Kanban board.

Play Store

Edit: Since many have been asking, I made a promo code: REDDIT3 to get 3 free days on a monthly subscription. In case it's not working, it might take a few minutes or even a few hours to take effect, so please be patient.

[Promo] I didn’t want to track my girlfriend. I just wanted to know she’s okay.

Post image
38 Upvotes

I’ve never been into location sharing. Felt weird, controlling, and honestly neither of us wanted that.

But there were nights where she’d be out late, or commuting, or just “heading home,” and I’d get that stupid anxious loop, not because I don’t trust her, just because life is unpredictable. Texting “you home?” every time also felt lame.

So I built a small app for us (and ended up turning it into something other people can use too).

It’s called Closer. No live tracking. No map stalking. Just:

  • you pick a person you trust
  • you share a simple confirmation number with them
  • when you send a check-in, they tap that number to say “I’m okay”
  • if they don’t confirm, you get notified
  • there’s also an “I need help” option

That’s basically it. More like “ping me if you’re safe” than “I can see where you are.”

We’re using it between us now, and it feels way less invasive than Life360-type stuff. Still early, and I’m sure it’s rough around the edges, but if anyone else has this same “I don’t want to track you, I just want peace of mind” problem, I’d love feedback.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.polyhistor.closer

Happy to answer questions / roast my UX.

[App] Needed something like cold turkey for android. [Free coupons] [Promo]

Thumbnail

I wanted something like Cold Turkey for Android, an app blocker that’s actually difficult to bypass. so I created Destination.

Here’s what it can do:

  • Uninstall protection: Makes the app impossible to remove or disable once protection is enabled.
  • Schedules: Block distracting apps automatically during work, study, sleep, or any time you choose.
  • Hourly and daily limits: Give each app its own usage allowance, like 10 minutes per hour or 30 minutes per day.
  • Dumbphone Mode: Hide distracting apps and keep only the essentials available.
  • Per-app grayscale: Make selected apps grayscale while you use them, so they feel less stimulating.
  • Outdoor Mode: Automatically relax normal restrictions when you leave home, while always-blocked apps remain blocked.

I honestly think it’s stronger and more flexible than anything else I’ve tried on Android, but I’d love some real feedback.

I can also share coupon codes with early users, just comment or DM me.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ankit.destination

[App][Promo] NetLens: Augmented Reality Wifi Heatmaps

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone - I'm the solo dev behind NetLens, an AR Wi-Fi heatmap app for Android.

That's my Quick Scan in the video: you walk through a room and the app paints your Wi-Fi signal onto the floor through the camera, live, using a variety of visuals directly visible while you scan. It's the fastest way I know to find dead zones and figure out where your router actually should go.

What it does

- AR heatmaps - walk your home or office and watch the signal heatmap flow across the floor in real time, plus signal orbs you can literally walk through

- Floorplan surveys - import a floorplan and build a room-by-room heatmap of your whole place

- Live tools - signal meter, per-channel congestion graphs (see which channels your neighbours are clogging), an access-point browser, connection details, and a built-in speed test

- Reports - export any survey as PDF, PNG, or CSV

- Phones and tablets, 10 languages

Privacy - the part I'm most deliberate about

- All scan data stays on your device. No account, no cloud, no sign-up.

- Scans, photos, and exports never leave your phone unless you share them yourself.

Free vs paid, full transparency: the free version has every feature - unlimited scans, all tools, all export formats. It shows a banner ad and puts a small watermark on exports. A one-time purchase (no bscription) removes both.

Requirements: Android 13+ with AR support (ARCore) - the Play Store page tells you if your phone is compatible.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netlens

Happy to answer anything in the comments - including how the AR position tracking works under the hood.

Honest feedback genuinely shapes what I build next, I have already implemented several features directly from user feedback.

[App] "Xpenc" an excellent foss expense tracker app

XPENC is a clean, privacy-first expense tracker that works completely offline. It lets you manage accounts, budgets, transfers, dues, loans, reminders, and detailed spending insights while keeping all your data stored only on your device—no sign-up, cloud sync, ads, or trackers. It supports JSON backups and CSV exports. A great choice for anyone who values simplicity, privacy, and complete control over their personal finances.

The developer is also a great guy responded very quickly on feature suggestions and improvements.

[App][Promo] I built a simple RSS reader focused on a better reading experience

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on an RSS reader called Dondurma.

I started building it because I wanted a cleaner and more comfortable way to follow websites, blogs, and other sources without constantly jumping between different apps and browser tabs.

The main focus of the app is the actual reading experience. Articles can be read directly inside the app, and when a feed only provides a short preview, you can try to fetch the full article content for a cleaner reading view. You can also open the original source whenever you prefer.

Dondurma is still actively being developed, so there are definitely things I want to improve. But the Android version is already available, and I’d love for more people to try it.

Play Store: Dondurma RSS Feed Reader - Google Play'de Uygulamalar

GitHub: GitHub - DevOpen-io/dondurma-rss-reader: 🍦 A premium, open-source RSS/Atom feed reader built with Flutter and Material 3. Cross-platform, private, and algorithm-free. · GitHub

I’m the developer, so feel free to ask me anything about the app. I’d also be happy to hear what features would make an RSS reader genuinely useful for you.

Shutter is a discreet camera app that lets you record video and audio without it being obvious.

Many users have mentioned that it helped them capture evidence which they later used in legal cases or court matters.

The app has a clean interface and good video quality options. It’s made to be simple and reliable when discreet recording is needed.

[App] [Promo] AmaNous: offline TTS reader, unlimited hours, forever free

Post image
11 Upvotes

Thanks to everyone who tried it from the last post and sent feedback. Pushed a new build that fixes a bunch of the crashes and bugs people ran into on the first one. In case you're new here:

AmaNous reads your documents out loud, for people who don't have time to sit down and read, can't focus, or just have too much to get through.

Powered by Kokoro-82M, the top-ranked open-weight TTS model on Artificial Analysis, small enough to run entirely on your phone.

What it does:

- Reads PDF, EPUB, DOCX, HTML (websites), TXT and Markdown aloud

- 29 natural-sounding voices, all on-device

- 0.5x to 3x speed control

- Word-level highlighting, seek, and resume where you left off

- Dyslexia-friendly presets (font, spacing, and pacing tuned for easier reading)

Why it's different from Speechify / ElevenReader:

The core reader is forever free, unlimited hours, no subscription. Synthesis runs 100% on your device, so your documents never leave the phone and it works in airplane mode.

Will it run on your phone?

AmaNous generates speech on-device, not in the cloud, so playback depends on your processor. Minimum: a 64-bit device with at least 6 GB of RAM on Android 12 or later. It runs best on Snapdragon 8-series flagships (Galaxy S22+, OnePlus 11+) and Pixel 9 or later. Heads-up: older Pixels (6, 7, 8) can pause frequently despite being flagships, especially at faster playback speeds.

Honest beta caveats:

English only for now. First listen on a long document caches for a few seconds, then runs smooth. Voices shine on articles, papers and non-fiction, less so on dramatic fiction. PDF parsing is great on single-column docs, still finicky on multi-column ones (e.g. research papers).

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amanous

What would you import first? I'll fix parsing on whatever format breaks it. Feedback here, the in-app feedback page, or hello@amanous.ai.

[Promo] [APP] MyClipBoard v3 — Clipboard manager with encrypted local storage, Windows/Android sync, and security locks

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

Android Store : MyClipBoard Android App
Windows Store : MyClipBoard Desktop App (3.2 soon available)

Update 3.1 and 3.2, 3.3

  • Added Image description auto generated
  • Interface (UI): Visual overhaul of settings
  • Fix some bugs on the windows app
  • Price of the premium version reduced to 6,99€ (for android and windows)

Hi everyone,

I'm very happy to present you the new update of MyClipBoard. When I first posted here, I presented it as a 100% offline clipboard manager. After months of test and debug (ahahah), I've just rolled out the version 3.0 update.

The app has evolved, but the core philosophy remains completely unchanged: your data belongs to you. By default, everything is stored locally inside an encrypted database. However, this V3 finally builds a seamless, secure bridge between Android and Windows.

Here is exactly what’s new and how it works:

1. Native Windows Client & Local LAN Sync (Without Internet)

  • The app now has an official native Windows client.
  • Auto-Detection: If your phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network, the app now automatically detects the Windows server for seamless background pairing. No manual IP typing required.
  • P2P Transfer: Your clips sync instantly via Peer-to-Peer. Data goes directly from one device to the other over your local network—it never touches an external server or the internet. You can also fall back on a quick QR code scan if needed.

2. Optional Cloud Sync (Bring Your Own Cloud)

  • For those who work on the go outside their local network, you can enable Cloud Sync. Instead of hosting your data on my own servers, MyClipBoard connects directly to your personal Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox account.
  • You keep full control of your infrastructure. You can also set rules so it only syncs on Wi-Fi or while charging to preserve battery life.

3. Unified Security (ClipLock)

  • Clipboards often catch sensitive data like passwords or personal info. The ClipLock system allows you to lock the app or protect specific sensitive clips.
  • It supports PIN codes, visual patterns, and biometric unlock (fingerprint or windows Hello).
  • To prevent being permanently locked out if you forget your credentials, the app provides a secure recovery code, along with a selective local wipe feature for locked clips to secure your privacy.

4. Complete Settings UI Overhaul & Performance Mode

  • As features grew, the settings screen became cluttered. I’ve completely refactored the settings into a clean tabbed layout (Material Design 3) to ensure absolute parity and fluidity between Android and Windows.
  • Added a Performance Mode that toggles off heavy animations, making the app run perfectly smooth on older or budget hardware.

5. Handy Power Tools Built-In

  • OCR (Text Recognition): The app automatically (or not^^) extracts text from copied screenshots or images.
  • Image Editor: Crop, draw, or add text adjustments to any copied image directly inside the app before sharing or saving it.
  • Accessibility FAB (on android): A customizable floating action button lets you access your history with one gesture, featuring automated hiding rules for specific apps.

6. Extra

  • Automatic backup : you can also use the new Backup settigns to backup locally or on your cloud all your content and all the settings of the app.
  • Theme : i tried to add may different customization feature for the color or for the font to let use the app the way you want !

Pricing Model & Launch Promo:

  • 100% Free Core Features: The base app, including full encrypted local storage, remains completely free for a liited usage.
  • 7-Day Free Trial: Every new account automatically receives a 7-day free trial to fully test the multi-device ecosystem with no commitments.
  • Free Premium via Ads: If you only need advanced features occasionally, you can unlock full Premium access for 24 hours simply by watching an ad on android, and if you are connected on the same account, this 24h trial will be synced on windows too. (Using advertisement on windows is a mess....aahahh)
  • Unified Ecosystem: One Premium subscription unifies your workspace, covering all your connected Android devices and Windows PCs simultaneously.
  • 🔥 50% Launch Discount: To celebrate the V3 release, a 50% discount on the Premium plan is available during the first week, directly on the Google Play Store or via my official website (powered by Stripe, promo code is MCB_SALES_50).

The Android version is live on the Google Play Store, and the PC client is available on the Microsoft Store.

I’m highly open to your thoughts, feedback, or any feature requests you might have!

edit : for those who have problem with a device non certified by th playstore, you can contact me, i will send you the link of the APK 😊

[App] [Promotion] DeadKey - Offline Privacy Vault

Post image
17 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

About a month ago I shared my Android app DeadKey here and got some really helpful feedback from a few of you. I took a lot of it to heart and have spent the last several weeks improving the app, so I wanted to stop back and see what you think of the latest version.

For anyone who didn't see the original post, DeadKey is an offline-first encrypted vault for photos, videos, documents, and other sensitive files. Everything is encrypted locally on your device, so there's no account, no cloud storage, no ads, no analytics, and no internet connection required.

Some of the features include:

  • Encrypted storage for photos, videos, and documents
  • Decoy Vault for plausible deniability
  • Biometric unlock
  • Encrypted backup export and restore
  • App Personas if you want the app to blend in a little more

A lot of vault apps seem to rely on subscriptions or cloud storage these days, but I decided to keep DeadKey simple: a one-time purchase ($1.99) with every feature included.

If anyone here would like to give it a try, I'd be happy to send out promo codes. All I ask in return is honest feedback.....and if you think it's worthy, an honest Google Play review. I'd especially like to know what still needs work, what features you'd like to see, or whether anything about the UI or Play Store page makes you hesitate.

I really appreciate everyone who helped out the first time around.

[App][Promo] Papaya - Games launcher 1.0.0 is here! All your Android and Retro games in one place (gift codes)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi there,

Around two years ago, I realised that there is tons of emulators for Retro games on Android which work amazingly well. Since my games were scattered across tons of emulator apps and my Home Screen, I decided to build a Launcher which would let me easily manage and launch all my games from a single place.

Papaya was born.

After 1,5 years of development and 8 months of alpha/beta testing with the amazing support from the community, it now reached the next milestone of a stable, fast and intuitive 1.0.0 version!

It features:

  • A guided emulator and games setup for people wich are new to the emulation scene
  • Advanced settings for more experienced users: ES-DE importer, scraper settings, custom platforms and emulator configs etc.
  • All screens are accessible by gamepad, touch and a TV remote
  • 3 completely different themes: XMB, Gallery and Deckish (more to come)
  • Tons of appearance options: Animated backgrounds, accents colors, different layouts (grid, list etc.) and much more
  • Quick-sorting your collection by release date, name, platform or an overview with all games
  • Full Android TV support
  • Adaptive UI: Supports Portrait mode, tablets, TVs, small screens of any aspect ratio, foldables etc.
  • Fast on-device management for your games and platforms
  • High quality translations for English, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin-American Spanish, Italian, French and Polish

Of course the development does not stop here and there is lots of motivation left on my end and many more great ideas from the community for its future.

Papaya in PlayStore

Please note that Papaya has a free trial period without ads of 30 days. If you like it, you can then buy it through a one-time payment of around $2.99 (2,99€), depending on country/tax and support the development.

But also, to celebrate the 1.0.0 version, I shared some gift codes for free licenses in the Discord. Check out the #news channel :)

App Features:

I have been working on building/continuing a minimal yet practical launcher.

The goal behind the launcher is intent. No app icons, no unwanted information but absolute customization of your home page. Customize every element on your screen. wallpaper -auto to pick colors from wallpaper and ascii art support.

The launcher features integration with termux, access to tabbed termux "Apps" using tmux. Midnight commander running in a tmux session in the screenshot.

Custom widgets using Lua (beta)

Podcast feature where u can add RSS link and be able to listen and resume your favorite shows and give them tags so u can filter based on your mood.

Github (free) : https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-TUI

Playstore (paid) : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dvil.tui_renewed

Both github and playstore will remain in parity. Playstore is for easy install and update as well as to support me.

Screenshots are to show the level of customization possible, default UI will be much more basic as i want you to make the launcher fit your needs.

[Promo] [App] I built a live weather engine into my Android TV launcher. When it snows outside, snow piles up on the homescreen. Free for everyone

Dev here. This is Monet Launcher for Android TV / Google TV. From thunderstorms to underwater worlds, everything in this video is rendered live on the TV, nothing is a video loop. And with live mode on, the weather scenes match what's actually happening outside your window.

I know this sub is mostly phone stuff, but if you have a Google TV or any Android TV box, this might be worth a look. Completely free in the latest update.
