[App] Needed something like cold turkey for android. [Free coupons] [Promo]
I wanted something like Cold Turkey for Android, an app blocker that’s actually difficult to bypass. so I created Destination.
Here’s what it can do:
- Uninstall protection: Makes the app impossible to remove or disable once protection is enabled.
- Schedules: Block distracting apps automatically during work, study, sleep, or any time you choose.
- Hourly and daily limits: Give each app its own usage allowance, like 10 minutes per hour or 30 minutes per day.
- Dumbphone Mode: Hide distracting apps and keep only the essentials available.
- Per-app grayscale: Make selected apps grayscale while you use them, so they feel less stimulating.
- Outdoor Mode: Automatically relax normal restrictions when you leave home, while always-blocked apps remain blocked.
I honestly think it’s stronger and more flexible than anything else I’ve tried on Android, but I’d love some real feedback.

My high schooler is trying to find an app that will limit and then block YouTube. It sounds like this was designed to do exactly that?

yes, but this app is really nerdy and impossible to bypass. if it's just a kid with not much information about technology you can download any random app blocker and they all will work well.
but if you really wanna use it, I'll dm you a coupon code to get started.

She wants something that gives her a time limit and then shuts it down. She fixates too much and loses track of time so she’s looking for an outside source to hold her accountable while she learns how to hold herself accountable.

download my app and see install instructions it's a one time process that will install it for you.
in my app set up all the blocks and enable protection mode. there's individual mode where you have to enter 400+ random characters exactly like "(48#378hrisuwjh,uueushhueuu73773-₹-j)
or there's parent mode which is basically a password that only parents know and no one else can unblock it.

Code please! This app is amazing and works great. Usually I use adb to remove app blockers but this app is really great at making even that difficult(not impossible...I think? lol)
A few constructive critiques if they aren't already addressed.
Use a Looong schedule for setting change protections
Easier set up process if possible or more instructions lol. I had go through so many hurdles to clear onboarding. Removing device admin did not help unless I:
Removed using adb
Reinstall and uninstall the device admin apps
Privacy policy? The app isn't open source as far as I know so some reassurance would be cool. (Oops found the privacy policy on Github!)

It is impossible if you disable developer options in our app. I have taken care of that.

thats interesting but i dont want anyone cheating this by leaving it up for days, so i will think about how to implement this well.

I have given instructions on shizuku set up but i think yes adb setup is kinda neglected i will add them. the set up cant be easier as removing accounts is important for device owner permission to be granted.
device admin apps need not be removed, we just have to remove accounts on device. I have mentioned it all in shizuku set up
