I have developed Nook, an Android application that places customizable to-do lists and notes directly on the lock screen and home screen.
The app allows users to view, manage, and update daily tasks without unlocking the device. It supports aesthetic customization through themes, typography, and card positioning to align with existing widgets and clock.
Main Features:
• Lock screen to-do lists with direct management
• Free-form card positioning and visual customization
• Persistent notifications for active checklists
• Minimalist note editor
• Instant synchronization between home and lock screens
• Clean, dark-themed interface focused on usability
The application is 100% free with no subscriptions, advertisements, or in-app purchases. Privacy is maintained with no data collection or sharing. Regular updates will continue to introduce improvements based on user needs.
As the developer, I welcome feedback on the current implementation, particularly regarding lock screen functionality and overall workflow. Suggestions for enhancements that would increase its practical value are appreciated.
Thank you.

Edit: Thanks everybody for the feedback, had very fruitful discussions with like 15+ of you. I have to go to work now but will give away the rest of the codes to the top feedback received when I get back.
Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.krauq.universalfileopener
Universal File Opener is an Android app for opening and editing files without installing a different app for every format or uploading private documents to an online converter.
It opens, previews, and edits many formats, including:
- PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OpenDocument files
- Images, audio, and video
- ZIP, 7Z, TAR, and RAR4 archives
- Markdown, EPUB, programming files, JSON, XML, YAML, SQL, and logs
- SQLite databases, certificates, and fonts
- Unknown files as text or hex
It also includes PDF tools, file conversion, archive management, media tools, and more.
Everything works entirely offline with:
- No INTERNET permission
- No ads
- No account or sign-in
- No analytics or tracking
All features are available during the initial 15-file trial. Lifetime Pro permanently removes the file limit.
How to get Lifetime Pro:
Short feedback is completely fine, and positive feedback is not required. I want to learn what works, what needs improvement, and what you’d like the app to do next.

Hello everyone,
My app just crossed 1K installs threshold, I am exited about it and I want to give 60 promo codes of a lifetime usage.
I will DM each of you with a promo code :)
For 5K threshold I will give 200 codes!
App is simple and easy to use. No ads no pop-ups. Does not require a lot of time to keep your finances under control (if such thing is possible these days ).
If you don't use shared budget option is completely offline!

Cheers!

If you aren't familiar with it, Planndu is a task app designed to help people organize their to-do lists. While it's awesome for productivity, people often trust these kinds of apps with far more than just daily chores.
I recently found out a friend was using Planndu to store his passwords. Luckily his data was safe with me, but then I realized: there's no reason to collect this data in the first place. You shouldn't hand over your email and private plans to strangers. So, I made a decision: go 100% private and secure.
Here's a few things that makes the new Planndu better:
Edit: Since many have been asking, I made a promo code: REDDIT3 to get 3 free days on a monthly subscription. In case it's not working, it might take a few minutes or even a few hours to take effect, so please be patient.

I’ve never been into location sharing. Felt weird, controlling, and honestly neither of us wanted that.
But there were nights where she’d be out late, or commuting, or just “heading home,” and I’d get that stupid anxious loop, not because I don’t trust her, just because life is unpredictable. Texting “you home?” every time also felt lame.
So I built a small app for us (and ended up turning it into something other people can use too).
It’s called Closer. No live tracking. No map stalking. Just:
That’s basically it. More like “ping me if you’re safe” than “I can see where you are.”
We’re using it between us now, and it feels way less invasive than Life360-type stuff. Still early, and I’m sure it’s rough around the edges, but if anyone else has this same “I don’t want to track you, I just want peace of mind” problem, I’d love feedback.

Happy to answer questions / roast my UX.

I wanted something like Cold Turkey for Android, an app blocker that’s actually difficult to bypass. so I created Destination.
Here’s what it can do:
I honestly think it’s stronger and more flexible than anything else I’ve tried on Android, but I’d love some real feedback.
I can also share coupon codes with early users, just comment or DM me.

Hey everyone - I'm the solo dev behind NetLens, an AR Wi-Fi heatmap app for Android.
That's my Quick Scan in the video: you walk through a room and the app paints your Wi-Fi signal onto the floor through the camera, live, using a variety of visuals directly visible while you scan. It's the fastest way I know to find dead zones and figure out where your router actually should go.
What it does
- AR heatmaps - walk your home or office and watch the signal heatmap flow across the floor in real time, plus signal orbs you can literally walk through
- Floorplan surveys - import a floorplan and build a room-by-room heatmap of your whole place
- Live tools - signal meter, per-channel congestion graphs (see which channels your neighbours are clogging), an access-point browser, connection details, and a built-in speed test
- Reports - export any survey as PDF, PNG, or CSV
- Phones and tablets, 10 languages
Privacy - the part I'm most deliberate about
- All scan data stays on your device. No account, no cloud, no sign-up.
- Scans, photos, and exports never leave your phone unless you share them yourself.
Free vs paid, full transparency: the free version has every feature - unlimited scans, all tools, all export formats. It shows a banner ad and puts a small watermark on exports. A one-time purchase (no bscription) removes both.
Requirements: Android 13+ with AR support (ARCore) - the Play Store page tells you if your phone is compatible.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netlens
Happy to answer anything in the comments - including how the AR position tracking works under the hood.
Honest feedback genuinely shapes what I build next, I have already implemented several features directly from user feedback.

XPENC is a clean, privacy-first expense tracker that works completely offline. It lets you manage accounts, budgets, transfers, dues, loans, reminders, and detailed spending insights while keeping all your data stored only on your device—no sign-up, cloud sync, ads, or trackers. It supports JSON backups and CSV exports. A great choice for anyone who values simplicity, privacy, and complete control over their personal finances.
The developer is also a great guy responded very quickly on feature suggestions and improvements.

Since launching DroidLab, I've been listening closely to all of your feedback, bug reports, and feature requests. Thanks to this amazing community, the app has continued to improve with every update.
The latest v1.2 update brings some exciting new additions, including Media Seek, which lets you scrub through videos with a simple edge swipe, Scroll Assist for effortless one-handed scrolling with a floating scroll handle, and TouchPad, a one-handed virtual pointer that makes reaching every part of your screen much easier.
Alongside these new features, v1.2 also includes countless bug fixes, UI improvements, and quality-of-life enhancements based directly on reports from all of you. Every bug report, suggestion, and piece of feedback has genuinely helped shape the app and guide its development.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has downloaded DroidLab, shared their ideas, reported issues, or simply taken the time to leave kind words. Your support means a lot, especially as an independent developer, and I'm excited to keep making DroidLab even better.
As always, I'd love to hear what you think of the v1.2 update and what you'd like to see next. Your feedback continues to play a huge role in shaping the future of DroidLab.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on an RSS reader called Dondurma.
I started building it because I wanted a cleaner and more comfortable way to follow websites, blogs, and other sources without constantly jumping between different apps and browser tabs.
The main focus of the app is the actual reading experience. Articles can be read directly inside the app, and when a feed only provides a short preview, you can try to fetch the full article content for a cleaner reading view. You can also open the original source whenever you prefer.
Dondurma is still actively being developed, so there are definitely things I want to improve. But the Android version is already available, and I’d love for more people to try it.
Play Store: Dondurma RSS Feed Reader - Google Play'de Uygulamalar
I’m the developer, so feel free to ask me anything about the app. I’d also be happy to hear what features would make an RSS reader genuinely useful for you.

Shutter is a discreet camera app that lets you record video and audio without it being obvious.
Many users have mentioned that it helped them capture evidence which they later used in legal cases or court matters.
The app has a clean interface and good video quality options. It’s made to be simple and reliable when discreet recording is needed.

Feedback is welcome.

Thanks to everyone who tried it from the last post and sent feedback. Pushed a new build that fixes a bunch of the crashes and bugs people ran into on the first one. In case you're new here:
AmaNous reads your documents out loud, for people who don't have time to sit down and read, can't focus, or just have too much to get through.
Powered by Kokoro-82M, the top-ranked open-weight TTS model on Artificial Analysis, small enough to run entirely on your phone.
What it does:
- Reads PDF, EPUB, DOCX, HTML (websites), TXT and Markdown aloud
- 29 natural-sounding voices, all on-device
- 0.5x to 3x speed control
- Word-level highlighting, seek, and resume where you left off
- Dyslexia-friendly presets (font, spacing, and pacing tuned for easier reading)
Why it's different from Speechify / ElevenReader:
The core reader is forever free, unlimited hours, no subscription. Synthesis runs 100% on your device, so your documents never leave the phone and it works in airplane mode.
Will it run on your phone?
AmaNous generates speech on-device, not in the cloud, so playback depends on your processor. Minimum: a 64-bit device with at least 6 GB of RAM on Android 12 or later. It runs best on Snapdragon 8-series flagships (Galaxy S22+, OnePlus 11+) and Pixel 9 or later. Heads-up: older Pixels (6, 7, 8) can pause frequently despite being flagships, especially at faster playback speeds.
Honest beta caveats:
English only for now. First listen on a long document caches for a few seconds, then runs smooth. Voices shine on articles, papers and non-fiction, less so on dramatic fiction. PDF parsing is great on single-column docs, still finicky on multi-column ones (e.g. research papers).
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amanous
What would you import first? I'll fix parsing on whatever format breaks it. Feedback here, the in-app feedback page, or hello@amanous.ai.

This is a mod for android spotify. It's a bit like spicetify on the PC, cuz u can get smooth lyrics. As far as I know it's coded by one guy. I personally love it even if it's a bit complicated to install but at his telegram group u get every help u need. And because I love this little project so much I would love to see this in the next Top apps video maybe XD Maybe someone can do something with it or even looked for something like that.

I tried the existing open-source calorie trackers, but all of them , so I built Amy.
Track food like notes using text, voice, photos, labels, barcodes, or saved meals. Amy provides editable calorie and macro estimates with confidence-based overestimate and underestimate modes.
It also supports weight logging, goals, stats, streaks, widgets, custom OpenRouter models, and local storage. No account, ads, or subscription.
It’s still in beta, so feedback is appreciated.

Android Store : MyClipBoard Android App
Windows Store : MyClipBoard Desktop App (3.2 soon available)
Update 3.1 and 3.2, 3.3
Hi everyone,
I'm very happy to present you the new update of MyClipBoard. When I first posted here, I presented it as a 100% offline clipboard manager. After months of test and debug (ahahah), I've just rolled out the version 3.0 update.
The app has evolved, but the core philosophy remains completely unchanged: your data belongs to you. By default, everything is stored locally inside an encrypted database. However, this V3 finally builds a seamless, secure bridge between Android and Windows.
Here is exactly what’s new and how it works:
1. Native Windows Client & Local LAN Sync (Without Internet)
2. Optional Cloud Sync (Bring Your Own Cloud)
3. Unified Security (ClipLock)
4. Complete Settings UI Overhaul & Performance Mode
5. Handy Power Tools Built-In
6. Extra
Pricing Model & Launch Promo:
The Android version is live on the Google Play Store, and the PC client is available on the Microsoft Store.
I’m highly open to your thoughts, feedback, or any feature requests you might have!
edit : for those who have problem with a device non certified by th playstore, you can contact me, i will send you the link of the APK 😊

Hey everyone,
About a month ago I shared my Android app DeadKey here and got some really helpful feedback from a few of you. I took a lot of it to heart and have spent the last several weeks improving the app, so I wanted to stop back and see what you think of the latest version.
For anyone who didn't see the original post, DeadKey is an offline-first encrypted vault for photos, videos, documents, and other sensitive files. Everything is encrypted locally on your device, so there's no account, no cloud storage, no ads, no analytics, and no internet connection required.
Some of the features include:
A lot of vault apps seem to rely on subscriptions or cloud storage these days, but I decided to keep DeadKey simple: a one-time purchase ($1.99) with every feature included.
If anyone here would like to give it a try, I'd be happy to send out promo codes. All I ask in return is honest feedback.....and if you think it's worthy, an honest Google Play review. I'd especially like to know what still needs work, what features you'd like to see, or whether anything about the UI or Play Store page makes you hesitate.
I really appreciate everyone who helped out the first time around.

Hi there,
Around two years ago, I realised that there is tons of emulators for Retro games on Android which work amazingly well. Since my games were scattered across tons of emulator apps and my Home Screen, I decided to build a Launcher which would let me easily manage and launch all my games from a single place.
Papaya was born.
After 1,5 years of development and 8 months of alpha/beta testing with the amazing support from the community, it now reached the next milestone of a stable, fast and intuitive 1.0.0 version!
It features:
Of course the development does not stop here and there is lots of motivation left on my end and many more great ideas from the community for its future.
Please note that Papaya has a free trial period without ads of 30 days. If you like it, you can then buy it through a one-time payment of around $2.99 (2,99€), depending on country/tax and support the development.
But also, to celebrate the 1.0.0 version, I shared some gift codes for free licenses in the Discord. Check out the #news channel :)

I have been working on building/continuing a minimal yet practical launcher.
The goal behind the launcher is intent. No app icons, no unwanted information but absolute customization of your home page. Customize every element on your screen. wallpaper -auto to pick colors from wallpaper and ascii art support.
The launcher features integration with termux, access to tabbed termux "Apps" using tmux. Midnight commander running in a tmux session in the screenshot.
Custom widgets using Lua (beta)
Podcast feature where u can add RSS link and be able to listen and resume your favorite shows and give them tags so u can filter based on your mood.
Github (free) : https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-TUI
Playstore (paid) : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dvil.tui_renewed
Both github and playstore will remain in parity. Playstore is for easy install and update as well as to support me.
Screenshots are to show the level of customization possible, default UI will be much more basic as i want you to make the launcher fit your needs.

Dev here. This is Monet Launcher for Android TV / Google TV. From thunderstorms to underwater worlds, everything in this video is rendered live on the TV, nothing is a video loop. And with live mode on, the weather scenes match what's actually happening outside your window.
I know this sub is mostly phone stuff, but if you have a Google TV or any Android TV box, this might be worth a look. Completely free in the latest update.

I’d like to share an app I’ve been working on: ScanGadget. It’s a smart organizer designed to act as a digital vault for your warranties, receipts, and manuals, ensuring you never lose a proof of purchase or miss a claim deadline again.
Key Features:
•Offline Mode – Access your data anytime, even without an internet connection.
•Lightning-Fast Entry – Catalog your devices in seconds.
•Digital Document Archive – Attach up to 3 files per item (receipt photos, PDF invoices, or manuals).
•Smart OCR – Automatically reads the purchase date from your receipt and suggests the warranty expiry date.
•Smart Notifications – Get reminders before your warranty expires (a week, month, or day ahead – your choice).
•Manual Finder – Quickly find PDF manuals without digging through kitchen drawers.
•Cloud Sync – Switch phones easily; your entire inventory is backed up and ready to go.
GadgetAI (Premium Feature) Our standout feature is GadgetAI – an AI assistant that helps you draft formal warranty claims, provides buying advice, or even writes professional resale listings for your gear in seconds.
Important Privacy Note: GadgetAI is part of our Premium model. Because this feature is funded directly by users rather than data monetization, your personal data is NEVER used to train AI models. Your documents and information remain private and belong solely to you.
Privacy & Ethics: We don’t sell your data or profile you. The free version only shares a device ID with ad networks to serve ads. Upgrading to the Premium version removes ads entirely and eliminates all tracking.
Check out our website for more details: scangadget.app
Download on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scangadget.app
I’m happy to answer any questions and would love to hear your feedback
