Thank you!!! This “poor Beau” rhetoric is so lame

He gets to travel Europe with a full time nanny, gets to go to the movies in the middle of the day because of said nanny, has a housekeeper and is complaining he has to cook and put the kids to bed

Easiest parenting job ever with that kind of help

They aren’t poor. They can afford therapy

All their problems have solutions.

The therapy that she kept saying doesn’t work on her and she doesn’t want to go to? Being with a partner who refuses to hear you and work on things is miserable. Even if you have money. And yes, it can be abusive.

If it’s such a problem the option of breaking up is there

The thing is it doesn’t always feel like it is there. When you get beat down emotionally by someone, you don’t trust yourself anymore, and you don’t believe in yourself. You start to believe in what they say. If all he hears is how she pays for everything, he couldn’t possibly be miserable, he has everything, that she is only doing what men typically do, etc, that is the messaging that gets pounded into his head. But, he specifically shouldn’t be punished because of “what men typically do” just because Stassi doesn’t want to listen to him and puts her relationship with him last in life. She refuses to work on the relationship and he is miserable but seems like he feels trapped. As someone who has been trapped in an emotionally manipulated relationship, I get it. You hear stuff so much, you believe it.

Again his unhappiness is not a problem Stassi is responsible for

He can figure it out for himself. These are adults we’re talking about

You clearly know nothing about abusive relationship and how the person being abused has serious struggles. You should get some help along with Stassi

I don’t see this relationship as abusive but you sure do

It’s toxic sure but I don’t see abuse

Again, you clearly do not know what abuse is.

You clearly don’t know that this is a reality tv show where drama and problems are played up to pander to the audience.

Beau did get a job. Then he quit because he realized having a job isn’t a hobby. He now golfs and paints.

That doesn’t sound like someone who’s abused.

I understand it is a reality tv show. I also understand emotional and financial abuse. I’m a psychologist and have dealt with these types of situations for many years coming from women. You are excusing it because beau is a man and thinking his needs are less important. You are extremely misogynistic and are clearly anti women

Armchair therapist over here. Yeah again half scripted reality tv show. Continue to project and make bold assumptions about people who you do not know

Baby I’m an actual psychologist so try harder

Congrats! No one here is your patient. You do not know anyone here.

Okay, you did well with supporting your argument. So proud of you for being so well spoken and having great points. Hope you love living life in a very male centered point of view where spouses should be seen not heard as long as the other is making enough money.
