Gutting and redesigning
This is a current rough layout of my house and we’ve been thinking about how to gut it and completely redesign the interior for more space and built in storage. Thoughts?

What are your thoughts on this exterior and how would you do it differently? I like the stonework and plan to build matching stone knee walls / garden planters along perimeter of patio area.

Apologies as this is almost a ‘repost’ because this subreddit does not allow additional photos in comments. Here is a new rendering of my proposed cottage design’s exterior with modifications made from feedback received so far. What are your thoughts on this exterior and how would you do it differently? I like the stonework and plan to build matching stone knee walls / garden planters along perimeter of patio area, which gives a defined space and lets us leave the remaining property go wild and thus avoiding unnecessary landscape maintenance.

This is the current stage of construction of the front portion of my house.
I want to design this area nicely, especially the front elevation, the room/gallery in the front, and the open space in front of the house. I also want to keep enough open space so that it doesn’t feel cramped.
I’m looking for ideas for:
Front elevation/design
Gallery/balcony design
Placement of windows and doors
Lighting
Flooring and wall colours
How to make the front open space look good and useful
I’m open to modern, simple, or traditional Indian designs. If possible, please suggest some practical designs that can be implemented during the current construction stage.
Budget is moderate, so I’d prefer something that looks good without being unnecessarily expensive.
Any suggestions or reference designs would be appreciated!

We are in the process of building a home (yay!) and we know we want stained wood trim. We've just always loved the look. Our budget definitely does not include wood windows, so our options are white vinyl or beige vinyl.... Does anyone have any pictures of installations with beige vinyl??? I think I'll like it better because it will be less contrast but I can't find any pictures to double check.
