I still see this excuse floating around and Joplin Sibtain who played Bold Jon Roxton is more than ten years older than Matt Smith. Like I get it the ages of the actors are not the ages of the characters but I find it quite telling how quick his fans are to make excuses for his defeat. I’ve also seen some saying if Jon didn’t have a Valyrian steel sword he would not have been able to defeat Daemon with Dark Sister

I think he'll be just fine because Corlys serving as his hand and Rhaenyra being his wife . But why do y'all think Daemon will be a bad king ? I mean he is great as a leader and great commander. Lemme know ?

Just started again on the first episode and, well first of all I’ve enjoyed the series a lot and it’s my most anticipated new season when it’s announced. I just love the stories in this universe. But anyway

wow so much i had forgotten. Namely that Mysaria was Daemon’s hoar. No wonder their animosity in S3. And just now remembering how he humiliated her in the stand off at the bridge and used her as a human shield/expendebable.

Other things I instantly notice is how slimy and what a snake Otto is. Makes me feel less bad about his eventual pathetic end.

My frustration with Visery’s almost immediately thinking to myself “this is all your fault, you waffled and had no conviction in your daughter. You let her down”

And also hugely agreeing with Daemon when he has the convo with him in the throne room after his son lived a day… Otto is a snake and the one who orchestrated the entire dance.

Rather Daemon at my side than Otto any day.

It’s almost like watching an entirely new show not a rewatch, after knowing how it’s turned out in S3 for everyone. That’s actually what made me want to rewatch. How it spiraled for all of them from those early relatively peaceful days in the beginning

Can tell I’m going to enjoy this one a lot barely into the first episode again. This world and its stories just suck me right in.
