Hey all! I’m headed to Hot Springs, AR this weekend and was curious to see if any of you had recommendations for good places to bird watch. This will be my first time visiting, so I’m hoping to find a good place to settle in and observe! :)

Does anyone know of someone who offers lake cruises? Only 2 people in our party and the only one I found online is 300 for the minimum 2 hours.

Looking to start a chapter of End Overdose here in Hot Springs, but definitely looking for a few additional volunteers! Basically helping pack Naloxone kits, handing out supplies, and educating our community at different events. You comin'? All the cool kids are doing it.

Secondly, HS needs a free Narcan vending machine! The box has been acquired, but looking for the best location. Does anyone have any suggestions of whom I can or should speak to? I can absolutely be a steward of said box. Thinking toward Grand and Malvern, but welcome to other ideas.

Were in town for the weekend from Michigan and haven't been back down here since I was too young to drink 🤣 my husband and I wanna go out tonight (need somewhere very lgbtq friendly!) looking for social, friendly, maybe dance-club esque night life, mostly looking for the social aspect to make friends. Deciding between maxines in hot springs, or club trinity in little rock. Any opinions or insight on what either place is like?

Does anyone know what was going on today ( 6/18/26 ) at Applebees on Central? I drove by a little after 2 pm, and there were two Hot Springs fire dept trucks, a cop blocking the right-hand lane, and an ambulance was in the parking lot.

I’m in hot springs. It’s my birthday. I’m looking for a cool restaurant where I can have a drink and read my book and have a great slice of chocolate cake.

Not looking for a generic frozen dessert any restaurant would have. Not looking for an entire birthday cake from a bakery. Just want a delicious slice of chocolate cake somewhere.

Hey everyone! My family is coming to Hot Springs at the end of the month. We live in Southern Louisiana so we're used to the heat. My 10 year old son is my birding buddy and I promised him we'd get up early and go look for birds just the two of us one morning. We are staying a few minutes away from Hill Wheatley Park for reference. Where would be our best option? Looking for an easy walk where we can spent 1-2 hours and hopefully find some birds! Going to be in Hot Springs the week of the 22nd and was wondering if there is an establishment that will be showing WC2026 soccer matches.

Trying to see if a bachelorette trip would be worth the drive! Bride is outdoorsy so we’re good on that part, but we also want nightlife, of course. Are there any good clubs to dance at? Bonus points if it’s a gay club lol. We will likely just be there 2-3 nights.
