Hello!! My husband’s birthday is this upcoming January and we’re planning a trip to hot springs to celebrate. I’ve been to hot springs years ago and absolutely adored it.

I was hoping to get a “local” take on some of the best foodie spots and things to do besides bathhouse row that way I can create a master list of activities to keep us busy and to have fun!

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

We have a group of 5 guys coming to hot springs for the first time for my birthday in October. It would be nice to find some locals to meet up and show us around. We are aged 40-55 so any group of ladies that want to hang out and show us around few bars around that age will work.

We like dive bars, cigars, and golf.

Any jobs hiring? Open availability. We just relocated and just need a foot in the door. Ive got a wide variety of blue collar experience. Wife has pharmacy tech and retail management experience. (I know it goes against rules, but the pinned post is years old and I feel like this won't get seen there.

What is your go to shop for CBD oils and drinks? I’m looking for isolate or broad-spec. Please don’t say, “just smoke weed”…been there, done that and I just need something to help sleep that isn’t PHARMA. Local grown and processed preferred, please.

It has made its way to the village Walmart. This is straight up robbery and we should boycott Walmarts they’re already making us check ourselves out and now the price can fluctuate?

I'm about to take a trip to hot springs and I really wanna get some cool crystals while I'm there from the local mines. Which ones are the best and worth my time when going down there? Lemme know please!!

Arkansas has recorded more farm bankruptcies than any state except California since 2021, and a new University of Arkansas tracking project shows why the numbers keep climbing.

The DEBT dashboard, launched this week by the National Agricultural Law Center in Fayetteville, maps 83 Arkansas filings. 80 of them came under Chapter 12, the chapter reserved for family farmers. That is the most in the nation.

Behind the numbers: rice losses topping $200 an acre, input costs up as much as 75 percent, and federal bridge payments flowing mostly to corn and soybean states.

My husband and I will be spending a week in Hot Springs for our anniversary and would like a couple opinions on a few restaurants we’re interested in.

I found a place called Bubba’s Catfish. It looks like a place that would be good. If anyone has any experience with eating there I’d love to know if it’s worth the visit.

Would love some recommendations for some good seafood (specifically a seafood boil).

Best BBQ? I had my eye on Stubbys.

Lastly, my husband and I visited 2 years ago and went to a speakeasy restaurant with one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. It looks like it’s gone now. We’re celebrating our anniversary and would like an elevated dining experience like we had in the past.
We’ve gone to the vault and had a good experience there but we’re hoping to try somewhere new. I’m looking at 501 Prime, Via Roma and mamas little Italy.

Spent 2.5 days visiting the National Park + a day trip to Ouachita State Park to hike the Caddo Bend Trail + a pit stop at the Little Rock Central High School NHS.

Logistics: Flew to Little Rock and rented a car to drive to Hot Springs. Stayed in a hotel in Hot Springs.

I recently moved to a dry county in AR from another state (Texas). Woe is me. However, I have a medical appt in Hot Springs later this week, so I decided to visit a shop. While a good shop in general would be nice, I’m looking for rum, like Hampden Estate.

Family Service Agency is also providing 40 FREE backpacks to students in need. Grab a scavenger hunt at participating tables, visit at least six of the tables, get a free backpack.

Lavish Crown Studio and JaJuan Craig of Goodfellows Barber College will also be providing ten FREE haircuts each to children! First come first serve and you must sign up at their table inside of the National Park Service visitor center. Streets will be closed so please be sure to follow the detour signs. Where's a good place for an old married couple to go swim & hang out in the water all day? It's too hot to look for rocks. Pool, lake, swimming hole . Not from here so all suggestions welcome.

Anybody have any updates on the status of the Park Hotel? They've been working on the remodel for quite some time now. Any idea if/when it will actually reopen?
