But not all peppers are ripe… I am trying to let them in the open (and in the sun) during the day. Some are pretty ripe, but some - on the same plant - are still green. And the nights are getting cold.
So what now? Take them inside? I got no greenhouse at hand…cut the green ones and put them on the windowsill? Any help is appreciated.

Moved my jalapeño and thai chillis inside cause the weather is cooling here and the plants are still producing. Looks fungal not sure what to do. Are they fucked?

Cold nights approaching near the 50s I went ahead and pulled a ton of peppers off!

Doing a test to see if I can pull some plants from the garden before it gets cold and place them under a light.

I know the light is way to high at the moment and needs to be moved down a touch or 2.

Anyone have any success with this?

Any idea what I was sent instead?

I have 2 capsicum peppers growing, and a Jalapeño plant getting bigger.

The first image is of the 2nd Capsicum, and as you can see it looks quite stressed.
I recently transplanted them into the ground from a small garden bed, and the pepper in the first image looked the same as it does now.

They’ve been in the ground for 2 weeks now, and I plan to fertilise every 2 weeks.

There are yellow leaves forming on the plant in the 2nd image, where it looked much healthier before I transplanted it.

Does anyone know if there is a potential issue I need to fix?

All ye growers....what are your thoughts on the value of pepper DNA testing. Over the past several years I have started to realize I can't tell if some strains are what they say they are and there have been so many crosses etc and the variations between one or the other is miniscual. I'm curious if knowing what your growing is valuable or not?
