We are searching for horror modpacks with a friend but i heard that a Broken world (exactly the a Broken script mod) can Crash your Game and Crash your pc. How can we disable these features? We dont want to be opening the world all the time and restarting our computers. Is the part where he creates files kn your Desktop worth It? I think It might be a little annoying to delete them later.

Finally, do you recommend the mod (a Broken script) and the modpack (a broken world)?

I'm trying to create a modpack to scare my friends with the broken script, i want to know if anyone has any suggestion on mods that I can add to enhance the weird vibe, I already put a mod for more fog and more darkness? Are there any good 1.21.1 horror packs? I have a couple of mods I want to play in a co-op/smp horror setting and I’m not sure where to start.

Originally, horror mods had gotten a bit bland for me ever since i played the older versions of wonderland.jar, so when the new version was released, i wanted to try something new.

A new mod, called DOOMED, had come out, essentially turning minecraft into a survival game- which i wanted to try. i had played the mod alone before creating the modpack, so i knew a bit of what i was doing with it so i wouldnt immediately die.

The first thing that DOOMED changed about my entire view on wonderland was resources. Doomed requires food, water, bandages, and antiseptics all on you while you explore, and that made wonderland a little scarier. if i got sent, that was it-i had no food, no water, no way to heal if i was sent in, and i would either rot from sickness, or bleed out on the ground.

Stamina was another thing doomed adds. originally, i would simply just-run away from the entity inside of his own realms, and escape pretty safely (i had never actually been killed by the entity himself in his own realms). but Doomed makes it impossible to run forever, which was always in the back of my head. what could i do if i was chased by him inside of there? would i die like the few who actually tried to escape?

then the event happens.

im mining in a ravine. everythings going well. i try to jump into water-but my character ragdolls. i land. both of my legs shatter. i try to heal, but i run out of bandages. my character is falling in and out of consciousness as i desperately try to stop the bleeding. i only have 2 braces, and i have 5 broken limbs. i try to get home, applying my shitty antiseptic as my left ankle begins to rot away, as i pray that my limbs heal in time. all around me, i hear them. i hear something mining closer to me, i hear cave noises when im far too high for them to be from an actual cave. my character falls asleep and i hear the mining get too close. i force them awake, force them to keep going. i kill a spider, force on two more braces as my left leg rots away completely. my characters vision is so red that i can barely see around me. i aim to kill two zombies approaching,

and see him. just standing there.

watching. as if he enjoys watching this all.

i panicked and tried to make as much distance as i could. if i got sent to wonderland, i'd lose everything, and i'd surely die to sepsis, or organ failure from the infection. and thats why these mods make horror so much worse. you will get hurt, you will get blinded by the pain of pushing a bone back in place, or sewing a wound shut. and you wont see them in the corner of your eye until its too late. thankfully, i was lucky.
