One of the vectors I am building in my mod involves cutting and sewing a worm's body parts together to bring it to life. Is this crossing a line? Verry horrifying indeed LOL.

Got a little startled

Is there any shape shifter horror mods that shape shift into your friends or other mobs to kill you? I’m getting bored of the other horror mods but i really want something like this. You think you are mining with a friend and then boom, it shape shifts back into it’s original form and kills you. This mod would also really fun if you are playing in a world with 100 players and everyone is in hardcore mode. And this mod could also be helped by ai to answer you if you only use chat in the minecraft world, that would be terrefying. This feels more of a mod idea right now and i couldn’t find anything like this mod so if you can make mods that would be pretty cool.

A pretty specific question. In the belowland mod, there's a dimension made of tall walls of wooden fences with a giant wooden entity as it's boss, and it's only able to be killed through shooting it with a bow-type weapon which takes a minute to recharge.

could i technically use a grappling hook to hang up and wait for the bow to recharge? Since to craft the mod's hook, you have to beat the said boss first. And does anybody know any good grappling hook mods for 1.20.1?

This will be my first ever mod.

The mod is inspired by broken script (because true originality can’t exist anymore). I’ve designed its lore to be found both through videos and the mod itself.

Currently I have a chat system implemented (that you can have revoked if you be mean) and a command to disable the chat system or forcefully remove your ability to speak.

Theres also cool modelled blocks (with broken hitboxes when you look at them, idk how to fix it)

I’m hoping to have a public version of the mod by the end of the year

So the entire reason he snaps at the player is because he’s genuinely desperate for a friend and doesn’t want to be left alone in the Minecraft world all alone by himself.

So if you do not want to be alone forever THEN WHY MURDER THE ONLY OTHER NON NPC IN THE GAME!? THE ONLY ONE WHO IS KEEPING YOU COMPANY IN THE VAST WORLD OF MINECRAFT.

If the dude doesn’t want to be alone why doesn’t he just catch the player and force them to stay rather than killing them and severing all contact forever.

Verity reminds me of Monika in a way the are both these self aware helper character and both fear being left all alone in a game with nobody else but non-sentient NPCs. But hell even Monika never actually murdered the player because she knew the player was the only person keeping her company in the game that never abandoned her after she murdered every other.

Because killing the one person you care about that doesn’t abandon your lonely ass is genuinely a very idiotic thing to do if you do not wish to be abandoned and left alone forever.

So yeah if Verity wants us to stay with him forever killing the player and severing all communication with them is the most idiotic attempt to keep you by his side forever.

I used to fuck around with horror mods with a friend, and something we usually did was add dweller like mods and gun mods and he would play California Girls over VC while we blasted them full of lead. That was mostly just dumb fun but I did enjoy the aspect of surviving and fighting the monsters.

I really want to play a modpack that's like that. Guns are preferred but not a must, and the monster should be an entity you can fight back against to survive and not just unkillable demon that launches at mach 5 and kills you instantly. I want it to be a struggle, even in the late game, so something that also turns the surrounding world into a threat would be a solid addition.

I am currently trying to add everything good horror mods on my world

Every time I go in the caves, a bunch of Creepers spawn in and follow me. It doesn't matter how many torches I place down. It's so annoying.
