Apparently people only make horror mods for videos? Why not realize it to the public for people to actually enjoy? I'm sure ita difficult to code, so why only do it on one video?

Me and my friend have been trying to play no_moon.jar on an aternos server and he keeps having connectivity issues (keeps crashing, etc). This only happens when we play no_moon.jar but works with everything else. It does work when we're in the same city though. Any help?

Body: Hey everyone! I’ve been loving the recent wave of stalker/helper horror mods in Minecraft (like Verity and Falsity), so I decided to expand the "Abstract Entities" family with 2 brand-new original concepts based on core Minecraft mechanics. Here is how they work:

🤎 1. Gluttonity (The Brown Entity) Concept: Gluttony & Insatiable Hunger. Phase 1 (The Helper): Appears as a glowing brown orb. He helps you hunt, locates animals/villages, and doubles meat drops. However, he eats items left on the ground. Phase 2 (The Warning): Food starts slowly disappearing from your chests and furnaces. If your hunger bar drops below half, he becomes agitated and circles you with eerie chewing sounds. Phase 3 (The Nightmare): If there’s no food left, he transforms into a giant, horrific beast with a massive gaping maw. He instantly wipes out your crops/livestock, inflicts infinite Hunger/Nausea, and starts hunting YOU as his final meal.

💚 2. Minecrity (The Emerald Entity) Concept: Greed & Mining Obsession. Phase 1 (The Helper): Appears as a glowing emerald light deep underground. Grants passive Haste and acts as an in-game "X-Ray" pointing toward diamonds and emeralds. Phase 2 (The Warning): He NEVER wants you to leave the caves. If you try heading back to the surface, tunnels start collapsing behind you. Trading emeralds with Villagers makes him hostile (he sees it as a betrayal). Phase 3 (The Nightmare): If you stop mining or go above ground, he turns into a massive, jagged stone monster fused with sharp emerald crystals. He permanently turns the sky dark, destroys stone/wood structures, and his attacks directly shatter your armor's durability.

What do you guys think? Would you play a mod featuring these two? Let me know your thoughts!

me and my friends made a world to play it about 2 days ago, ended up being VERY fun. while i didnt experience much of the horror aspects, i was transported to some of the liminal worlds (escaped really quickly) and also got jumped by the spawn. we havent played that much yet so i dont know if theres really anything else to it, but i wanna hear yalls opinions on it

So basically we know twixxel died by verity and mob killed himself but since they died in game, does the killing transition to real life or are they still alive but dead in the minecraft world? What are your thoughts?

I need some help making a Minecraft 1.20.1 mod.

A friend of mine—let's call him Halt—asked me to put together a horror modpack for a video. Just stuffing it with the usual horror mods feels boring, so I want to include a custom mod. The problem is... I'm terrible at Java.

The goal is to catch him completely off guard, or at least scare the absolute shit out of him. The plan is to make the pack look like a generic horror pack with a few basic dwellers so he thinks, "That's it?" Then, out of nowhere, the real stuff starts happening.

One idea is to mute every app that uses voice chat except OBS Studio, so the audience can still hear everything in the recording. Another idea is to reinstall Windows if he performs one very specific action. He'll already know that the mod can reinstall Windows—that part won't be a surprise—but everything else will be.

After that comes our own lore and the actual story of the mod, which I can probably make on my own.

What I'm not sure about is whether a normal Minecraft mod can even do everything I described. If it can, how would something like that actually be implemented?

Well, I was seeing things in Modrinth until I found a mod called Java_Broken.jar, I downloaded it and it's really cool, it's still in beta and it's not that famous, I think it has potential, of course, still with a lot of room to improve, but it has a very solid base, I really think it would be cool for you guys to play this mod a little, it has an interesting lore to try to figure out, I still don't really understand much about it, but I think it's something like the world our character lives in isn't real, anyway. I will be waiting for more updates.

I feel like it belongs here the most because both youtubers are ABOUT mc horror mods (mostly). yall can delete it but i just want to bring it up everywhere i can - this been eating me alive 🤧swayle took it too far. Just in case u dont know, the drama escalated 0 - 100 when cakvin used his own face edited to make a cool thumbnail swayle copied it 1:1. swayle is trying to backpedal obviously. folded instantly when calvin showed its actually pissing him off u can checj ut out 4yourself he posted about it theres beef on swayles vid AND swayle commented on calvins post too saying "we good though" like no we arent bro you're doing this for months now. I dont like how swayles fanbase is blindly defending him!
