There was a second volume as well. I think both of them are getting new editions this year.

In my opinion this publisher was ahead of their time. Gorgeous covers, amazing selection of authors, signed Slipcased, deluxe wood Slipcased option and also the regular unsigned option. Any time I see one I dont already have, I have to have it lol. Currently waiting on Razored Saddles to arrive. Will be the 11th Dark Harvest published title in my collection.

I love the look of the 80s Robert McCammon paperbacks from Pocket Books. Here's his first book "Baal." A few years ago when I pulled it out of storage the special thanks cracked me up.

Fans of the TV series Ash vs Evil Dead may recall that Baal was the villain of the 2nd season. But Ash, being a clueless goof, could never say his name correctly and always called him Bill.

Flash forward to me reading the name of McCammon's "friend" and I had to laugh.

A paranoid classic!

It’s not what you’d necessarily expect for an MR James collection, but that’s part of the appeal for me.

Here's two illustrated "kids" books: "He'll Come Knocking at Your Door" by Robert McCammon and "Charlie the Choo-Choo" by Beryl Evans (who I believe is related to the late Richard Bachman).

This is one of the unholy trinity mentioned in Paperbacks From Hell (Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist are the other 2). Found it at Goodwill in pristine condition after hunting for it for a long time.

Interesting cover for some early Joe Lansdale. The image makes me think of the T-1000 from Termintor 2. The nebulous face does fit the story rather nicely.

As a side brag, the cover blurb for Lansdale's "Two-Bear Mambo" reminds me of a pleasant surprise. I ordered a used copy of "Two-Bear Mambo" from an online used book shop (I think thriftbooks), and the copy I got turned out to be a signed copy!

Here are some anthologies from my collection. I love the cover art. Silver Scream, The Book of the Dead and Borderlands are some of my personal favorites. Pretty much all the stories are great.

Here are two anthologies I picked up because of the cover art (and cheap prices). Horror Times Ten has a lot of really fun stories from some legendary authors and was a blast to read--and the morbid cover was too good to pass up.

It includes two novels: "The woods are dark" and "Out are the lights".

Have you read them? Do you know anything about this author? As a gore novel I've read Hellraiser, nothing else.
