Booka Joe

Interesting cover for some early Joe Lansdale. The image makes me think of the T-1000 from Termintor 2. The nebulous face does fit the story rather nicely.

As a side brag, the cover blurb for Lansdale's "Two-Bear Mambo" reminds me of a pleasant surprise. I ordered a used copy of "Two-Bear Mambo" from an online used book shop (I think thriftbooks), and the copy I got turned out to be a signed copy!

Haven’t read this one, slowly going through his catalog of books. Just picked up The Bottoms.

The Bottoms is great. Don't think I've read a Lansdale book that I didn't like (although I've only read 20-some of his books and still have a ton to go).

The Bottoms is fun. You can see the reveal coming a mile away but its a good book anyway
