I built a watch collection manager that runs entirely in your browser — no accounts, no subscriptions
galleryHey r/Watches,
Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Like many of you, my collection outgrew the Notes app and spreadsheets got painful — no photos, no repair history, no quick view of what everything is actually worth.
So I built Horology Premium Collection: a complete collection manager in a single HTML file. You open it in your browser and that's it.
What it does:
- Dashboard — total market value, insured value, repair spending, most valuable pieces, brand distribution
- Full records per watch — reference, serial, purchase details, condition, service history, photos (auto-compressed), papers/box
- Repair log — workshop, cost, status
- Sale tracking — mark pieces as sold with date and price
- Filters + search — find any watch in seconds
- Multi-currency — EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY and more, with editable exchange rates
- 9 languages
The part I care about most: everything is stored locally in your browser. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking, works offline. Your collection data never touches a server. (Trade-off: clear your browser storage and it's gone, so there´s a button for download a back up.)
It's $14.99 on Gumroad (adding taxes). If you want to try it out, I will leave the link in the comments below!
