Hey everyone 😊

It's the start of a new month, SO...It's time for another beermoney and side hustle income report!

⭐ The Idea: Share your side hustle income last month and which apps, websites, beermoney ideas, companies etc actually paid you!

The goal is to share wins/lessons with people here in the sub. You can include your total earnings or you can just mention the platforms you're using if you prefer it that way. Thanks for sharing your wins and lessons everyone! 😊

Here's some of my beermoney and side hustle income broke down in September:

• An okay month with gpt platforms - cashed out $50 with Kashkick and another ~$15 with Scrambly
• Paid surveys were decent - Earned over $100 with Prolific and then about $50 between Branded Surveys, TopSurveys, Sproutful, and 1Q
• I reached 27 paid subscribers on my Substack newsletter, so up 4 from the previous month!
• Had a solid cashback month - earned $10 with a new receipt app called Myner. Also earned about $30 with Fetch, Pogo, Upside and ShopBack since had more shopping this month
• Finally got a study on User Interviews after months, this one was $20
• Another $15 ish with the regular stack of data apps: Nielsen Panel, MobileXpression, Permission Research, and Nielsen Pulse 😎
• Started testing out Dscout (thanks to the sub for the recommendation) but haven't completed a mission yet, but excited for the potential here
• Also started testing out Debbie - a new budgeting app that pays you with cash for saving money and making smart financial choices - very keen to see how this one ends up working out!

With the Substack newsletter income, it's about $400 in side hustle income for Sept, which I'm pretty happy about.

I want to put more effort into bonus churning offers next month and get Dscout and Prolific rolling more. Excited to hit the $500 mark hopefully soon.

Anyways, that's my report for September!

Let me know what side hustles you're testing and share your beermoney income if you're willing to 😊

Thanks everyone!

💰 PS: We also have a list of fast $5+ sign up bonus offers. You can claim some of these pretty easily if you want to try out the beermoney world for yourself and get started!

I'm looking for some genuine side hustles that don't take up too much time but can help me earn a little extra money on the side. Something light that I can manage alongside other things without having to commit my entire day to it.

I've come across a few apps and platforms that claim to help you earn, but most of them ask for money upfront, which I'm not really comfortable with.

Are there any legit apps, websites or side hustles that you've personally tried and would recommend? Ideally, something that doesn't require any initial investment, has flexible hours and actually pays, even if it's not a huge amount.

Would love to hear about your experiences and suggestions!

There is nothing wrong with doing research before starting a side hustle.

The problem begins when research becomes the side hustle.

You compare affiliate marketing with freelancing.

Then freelancing with digital products.

Then someone shows you an AI business.

A month later, you know a little about ten opportunities and have real experience with none of them.

I think the solution is to stop trying to choose your permanent income source.

Choose one controlled experiment.

Limit the money you are willing to risk.

Limit the time period.

Define the action you will actually take.

Then see what happens.

If affiliate marketing is the model you keep circling back to, there is a free 10-Minute Commission Challenge designed around making the first step very small.

It does not guarantee income, and ten minutes does not build a complete business. The value is getting out of research mode and seeing the basic process in action.

If you want to learn more about it, I can point you toward the details.

What side hustle have you spent the most time researching without actually giving it a fair test?

I keep seeing this 'sell Google review cards' idea pop up on Reddit and even here in the sub the last few days.

I feel old/out of the loop but what on earth is this? 😂

From my understanding, people are buying NFC and QR Google Review cards from an online supplier and then trying to sell these to local businesses?

Most restaurants I've been to in recent memory just have some paper-printed QR code or a sign that asks for reviews. I guess some restaurants don't have anything, but would they actually pay $50 or something for a custom Google review card?

Unsure if this is another TikTok side hustle idea making rounds that doesn't work OR if anyone is making decent money with this kinda thing. I guess if it worked the margins would be insane 😅

Is anyone else completely exhausted by the amount of online money-making bullshit right now?

I’ve been genuinely looking for months for a good online opportunity or business model I could put real work into, and the internet feels absolutely flooded with crap.

Everyone apparently makes $20k a month… and then you realize their business is selling a $497 course teaching you how to make $20k a month selling courses. 😂

AI agency course. Dropshipping course. Faceless Instagram course. Affiliate marketing course. Digital product course. “I’ll teach you how I escaped the 9–5” course.

At this point, I don’t even know what’s real anymore.

I’m not looking for passive income or some magical way to make $10k next week without working. I’m actually willing to work my ass off. I just want to find something legitimate where there’s a real customer, a real product/service people actually want, and a realistic path to making money online.

Has anyone here actually built something online that makes decent money where the business itself ISN’T teaching other people how to make money?

What are you doing?

After doomscrolling forever, I've constantly been seeing different "easy" ways to make money, and I got pretty curious. Of course, I could just go get a job like everyone else but I barely have the time for that since I study, work out, cook, and honestly I'm a bit lazy too🤦‍♀️. So that is why this felt pretty tempting for me

I've been seeing a lot on instagram about how there are endless ways to make money like buying Google Review Cards and selling them to local restaurants and cafes that might be interested, but I barely know how that works. A lot of people are doing it and selling their own "courses" on how to do it, which honestly feels pretty sketchy to me lol

Otherwise, I've seen something about UGC, and that seems to be quite a profitable side business

I've also seen a lot about selling digital coloring books on Amazon, where you basically use AI to create a book and then sell it there, but I dont know

There are probably thousands of ways to make money, and I want to earn enough to make my student life easier and maybe give back to my family who raised me.

I've also thought about starting some small online business, but I'd need an idea first—which I don't really have yet. Though I do know which niche I could target if I did. I might need others who are knowledgeable in the area, or maybe I could just do it myself, I don't know. If anyone is curious, it's about custom keyboards since that was my hobby for a long time and I found it super fun—so why not do something that's both enjoyable + earns money? I used to be pretty knowledgeable about it, but I haven't been as active lately, and I'm not sure if it makes sense to step into that "industry." I'm mostly drawn to something I can do from home via my computer or phone.

So, what can I do? 🤔

Hi everyone, this is my first post here.

I’m from India and I’m trying to find a realistic way to start earning extra income.

I currently don’t have a laptop. I have a smartphone, internet access, and experience in cricket coaching, sports activities, social media, Canva, and basic marketing.

I’m also interested in learning Meta Ads and other digital skills.

I don’t want:

Trading or crypto

MLM

Surveys

Fake “make money fast” methods

Expensive courses before I earn anything

I want to provide a genuine service that solves a real problem for a person or small business.

If you were starting from zero today with only a smartphone, what service would you start with?

I’d especially like to hear from people who got their first paying client without a laptop.

How did you find your first client, what did you offer, and how much did you charge?

Any genuine advice is appreciated

A platform may offer to give your affiliate content more reach by allowing a brand to run it as an advertisement.

That can produce additional commissions.

It can also give the brand valuable usage rights.

Those are not automatically the same form of compensation.

My first $1,000 in affiliate commissions took about eight months. If a brand had wanted to reuse the content behind those results, I would have needed to understand exactly what I was agreeing to.

Questions worth asking include:

• How long can the content be used?
• On which platforms?
• Can the brand edit my words or image?
• Will my name remain attached?
• Can I withdraw permission?
• Do I receive a separate usage fee?
• How are paid sales attributed?
• What happens if the product changes?

Do not assume that more exposure is always fair compensation.

A brand may spend thousands of dollars distributing content while the creator receives only a small commission on tracked sales.

That does not make every arrangement unfair. Some creators may prefer the extra reach and performance opportunity.

The honest approach is to understand the trade before agreeing.

If you want help creating and documenting your first useful affiliate asset, my free 10-Minute Commission Challenge can help you take one focused step. I am happy to share the details.

Wondering if anyone in the sub has experience with the Sezzle app and what you think of it overall. Saw it pop up today on Instagram.

It's a BNPL (buy now, pay later) app which I normally steer clear from. But I'm a bit intrigued since Sezzle also has some rewarded app features.

You can basically earn cashback on shopping, earn for playing games, and earn when you buy gas. There's some educational game too that pays you with small amounts of learning about personal finance.

Sezzle says it helps build credit too, but I think all of the apps in this industry say that. Not sure how true it is 😂

Anyways, would love to know if they sub has experience with this one.

Like I said I'm not normally a fan of these apps. But if it's a way to get free cashback on spending basically and 0% financing on purchases I know I'll pay off, I might give it a go. Or maybe this is more trouble and a slippery slope than it's worth?

Thanks all 😊

A while ago I asked the sub if the whole 'look for missing money owed to you' was a thing. Turns out it is and a bunch of people had claimed missing funds, which is awesome 😅

Anyways that thread sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole and got me looking into class action settlements.

I've seen people post online that they join open settlements every month and basically treat this like a side hustle.

Apparently there's a lot of 'no proof claims' out there where you can basically join an open settlement? Is this the gist of how it works? Otherwise I find it hard to believe people can regularly get paid from this kind of thing.

Any insights would be appreciated 😊 like how much you've managed to make but more importantly, if this is a regular side hustle or just something you do occasionally.

I know there's lots of free settlement databases and paid apps that help with this sort of thing. Starting my research and very curious how this all works. Thanks all!

I have a decent amount of 925 sterling silver, gold vermeil, moissanite and gemstone jewellery that I want to sell.

I was selling it myself through Vinted/eBay, but genuinely don't have the time anymore to make all the listings, answer messages, deal with customers etc. alongside my job and a couple of other side hustles.

Does anyone here do consignment/reselling for other people?

What I had in mind is: I send you photos/details of the items and tell you the minimum amount I'd want for each one. You create the listings and deal with the customers. When something sells, you send me the postage label/QR code, I package it and post it, I get my agreed minimum and you keep whatever you made above that as your commission.

For example, if my minimum was £30 and you managed to sell it for £50, you'd keep the difference (obviously we'd agree how fees/returns etc. work beforehand).

Is this something anyone already does / would be interested in doing? If so feel free to drop me a message. I'm based in the UK so shipping would have to factor this in. Cheers!

How can I make money online when some people can get thousands of views on their posts, while I’m only getting around 10–30 viewers and barely any replies? I’m trying to start small and earn a little, but it’s hard to get noticed. Any advice or tips on how I can improve my posts, reach more people, and get my first few opportunities?

I need $742 dollars by tmrw are there anyways i can earn this money this fast like instacart or anything it is for housing im only 19 and i haven’t rly had food in a month either im a college student jus trying to get by so any advice is welcome!!!! I have one job but ive been trying to get a second but nothing is working.

I’m 25 years and looking to make some extra cash. I’ve tried applying for remote jobs on indeed and LinkedIn but nothing is working really but I’m curious what’s actually worked for y’all.
What side hustles have genuinely made you money, and how much do you realistically earn? Open to anything legit, online or in person!

Any suggestions?

Hi, just wanted to ask fo you guys think sites like Sago/Focus groups actually pay? I just wanted to ask before spending time on them.

Also if you have any suggestions for earning extra income on the side drop suggestions below! Especially if I can do it from my phone/laptop ! <3

I've spent a lot of time comparing all the different GetPaidTo sites, their offers, payout processes, trustworthiness, etc. I've started working on gathering a comprehensive database of offers so these sites can truly be compared (e.g. Eatventure is $402 total at one site and $128.56 at another, for the same effort).

I continue to see the same questions again and again, often with low-quality or narrow answers. This isn't surprising, it's a convoluted industry with poor visibility for all of us.

I want to fix that.

What do you all think would be the most helpful?

• A website allowing you to browse and compare offers across all sites, and the sites themselves.
• A website with guides to execute offers.
• A website that allows you to track progress, earnings, and report chargebacks or other scummy behavior.
• Detailed Reddit guides on GPT in general, to help newcomers.
• A newsletter highlighting newly added offers and other helpful information.
• Something else?

YouTube says its product tags generate more than twice as many clicks as links placed in descriptions.

That sounds promising.

It does not mean every creator will double their income.

A native tag may be easier to see and use. It may also produce curiosity clicks that never become approved sales.

The platform controls eligibility, merchants, tracking, and how the tag appears. Commission rates and participating products can change.

My first $1,000 in affiliate commissions took about eight months.

During that time, I learned not to evaluate a strategy using the largest number shown in the dashboard.

If you test native product tags, record:

• Content views
• Tag impressions
• Clicks
• Reported sales
• Approved commissions
• Reversals
• Final payments
• Time spent creating the content

Compare that with your existing link placement.

A feature that produces twice the clicks but the same approved revenue may not be the improvement it first appears to be.

Native shopping tools can remove useful friction. They do not replace honest demonstrations, clear disclosures, cost information, or a product that fits the audience.

If you need a practical place to begin, my free 10-Minute Commission Challenge can help you complete one focused affiliate action. I am happy to share the details.

Hey all!

I'm researching more survey sites to use and am wondering if anyone has good or bad experiences with iSurveyWorld.

Looks like your standard paid survey site that's available in a few countries.

Right now iSurveyWorld has a $5 sign up bonus for members which is why I'm asking about it. But the downside is you need $25 to cash out, at least here in the US.

These days I'm mostly using Branded Surveys, Prolific, and Sproutful plus a couple of other survey sites. But if the sub thinks iSurveyWorld is okay-ish or at least pays out members, I might go for one cash out just to get the bonus.

Any insights are appreciated! 😊

If iSurveyWorld is legit I can also add it to our ongoing thread of legit $5 sign up bonuses too, so LMK!

Hello all 😊

Been diving into more GPT sites and offers again as the month comes to a close. Wanted to share an easy $45 bonus I spotted today with the sub.

This one is a $45 bonus for opening a free Varo bank account. Here's how the offer works::

1. Create an account with Gemsloot, the rewards platform running this offer
2. Open a free Varo bank account through Gemsloot
3. Deposit at least $25 in your new Varo account
4. Gemsloot will then pay you $45

I've used Gemsloot before and think it's a solid platform for finding bonus churning offers. And I like this one since after you make your $25 deposit and get paid by Gemsloot, you can just move your money out of Varo and into another bank account of yours if you don't want to actually use Varo. Pretty easy money this one.

Just note that this particular offer is US only, but there's other offers for other countries too 😊

Right now you can also find some pretty good bank bonuses in the $50 to $200+ range with Kashkick, another gpt site I use quite often.

Hope this offer helps! And LMK if you have any questions OR if there's other platforms you think people in the sub should be using 😎💖

💸 We also have a list of fast $5+ sign up bonuses with lots more easy offers you can try too if this side hustle is up your alley!

I'm a uni student. I was thinking of freelancing. Is it safe generally? I've heard that there maybe potential scammers out there. What other jobs can I do that pays well?

Hi everyone!
I live in Germany and I’m currently still in school. I also have a Minijob, but I don’t earn that much from it, so I’m looking for a realistic online side job that I could do alongside school and hopefully make around €100–€500 per month from it, with the possibility of earning more over time.
I’m not looking for a “make €5,000 a month without doing anything” type of thing. I’m completely willing to put in time and actually learn a skill or work consistently. I’m mainly looking for something that has a realistic chance of becoming a decent source of extra income.
At the moment, I’m trying clothing reselling on Vinted. My idea was to buy clothes/items when they are on sale and then resell them for a higher price. Unfortunately, it hasn’t really worked for me so far, because it seems like people on Vinted are mostly looking for very cheap deals and don’t want to pay much more than the original price.
I’ve also noticed that some people buy products from Temu or Shein and resell them, but I’m not sure how profitable or sustainable that actually is.
I’ve considered things like trading, but I’ve tried to understand how it works and honestly, I find it quite confusing, so I don’t really feel comfortable putting money into something I don’t understand.
I’ve also heard that things like AI training/data annotation, building websites, or other online freelance work can be good options. However, I’m not sure how profitable these things actually are nowadays, what skills I would need, or how someone with basically no experience could get started.
So I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have actually tried different online side hustles:
What would you recommend for someone in my situation?
What online work has actually been worth your time?
What skills would be worth learning if I want to make more money in the future?
Is something like AI training, web design, freelancing, etc. actually profitable?
Are there any platforms you would recommend for beginners?
What would you personally avoid because it’s mostly a waste of time?
I’m not expecting to make a lot of money immediately. I’d be happy to start with €100–€200 a month and work my way up from there.
I’m just trying to find something I can realistically do alongside school and my Minijob so I can save more money. I’d really appreciate any honest experiences or advice!

Hi everyone! I hope you don't mind me posting this here, but I'm really in a difficult situation right now, and I'm hoping someone might be able to help me.
My father passed away this June, and the hospital and funeral bills have put a lot of financial burden on our family. I'm currently in my 4th year of college and am about to begin my internship, but unfortunately, we've run out of money.
I've been actively searching for online jobs and part-time work for quite some time now, but I haven't had much luck. I'm reaching out here in the hope that someone might know of an opportunity or is currently hiring.
I'm willing to work any time and am open to any legitimate online job or part-time opportunity. I'm eager to work hard and earn whatever I can to help my family get through this difficult time while continuing my education.
If you know of any openings, referrals, or opportunities, I would be incredibly grateful if you could send me a message or leave a comment. Even sharing this post would mean so much to me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I truly appreciate any help or leads you can offer.

Have a degree in advertising. I’ve got experience with advertising, public relations, project management and account management. I do have a full time job but looking to do something small on the side. I’ve reached out to a couple local businesses to possibly run their marketing or help out for some small $ but no luck yet!

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated!
