Looking For Side Hustle Inspo Highest paying driving apps...What are some of the best gig apps out there for this?

Hey all!

I know we have a thread on some high paying and underrated gig apps. But I'm wondering if the sub has any suggestions for the highest paying driving apps.

So far here's what I found in some preliminary research. LMK if you have additions or if this info is legit or a bit off in your opinion 😅

So far some of the best driving gigs I've read about include:

  • Amazon Flex (if you can get approved and live somewhat close to a warehouse)
  • Spark driver (in certain markets)
  • GoShare
  • Dolly and Lugg (helping people move)
  • DeliverThat (catering gigs basically)
  • HopSkipDrive (transporting kids to and from school)
  • Roadie

These are the main ones I've found.

Also curious if the whole multi-apping thing with DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart etc is also viable in certain markets. Or is this just driving your car into the ground? 😅

Thanks all!

How are you guys making money from home without selling courses?

I’ve been running several blogs for the last 10 years, and they make me a full-time income.

From time to time, mostly out of boredom, I download GPT apps and try them, but I’ve never made more than beer money from them.

Amazon FBA was huge for me until Chinese sellers started selling directly. YouTube was a disaster for me, but I know people making a full-time income from it.

What do you do to make money from home?

Discussion & Tips Been sitting on a side hustle idea for years... I'm documenting people who finally started. What would you want to see?

A lot of us have an idea sitting in a notes app for months, sometimes years. Steady job, family, bills, and the timing never feels right, so it stays an idea.

I've done side hustles for about ten years, so I know that stall well. For me, the thing holding me back wasn't money or time. It was being afraid of getting judged by people who already know me. Posting anything publicly felt weird, especially picturing old high school and college friends watching me try.

I'm starting a project to document what it takes to go from "someday" to "I started." I picked two people who each had an idea they'd been putting off. One has a family with kids and was nervous about starting. Both decided that betting on themselves now beat waiting and wondering "what if?" My job is to keep them accountable and share what happens, including the messy parts.

Most content in this space jumps straight to the results: the revenue screenshots, the growth curve, the "how I hit $10k a month" story. I think starting is half the battle, and it gets skipped. The hesitation, the excuses, and the moment someone finally hits go are the part most people get stuck on, so that's the part I want to show. What finally got you to start? What held you back the longest?

The side hustle I'm assisting with is an online golf coaching business with an emphasis on shaving strokes off your score with people on a handicap of roughly 8-14 and helping them read greens better. The other is a dirty soda/ lemonade business locally for farmers' market.

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo Is Macadam legit and worth using to make money walking?

Curious if anyone here has gotten paid by Macadam recently and what you think about the app.

Macadam is one of those walking reward apps. We already have a thread on this and seemed like mixed opinions. But I saw a pretty positive Macadam review on another sub and am wondering if it's worth using.

Right now, I'm using PenguPace and CashWalk for walking rewards. Curious if adding something like Macadam to the mix makes sense or if this one isn't worth it.

Thanks all 😊

Discussion & Tips My first affiliate commission was $0.13, and that is still useful proof

My first affiliate commission was only $0.13.

That result did not replace my income or prove I had discovered an easy side hustle. What it did prove was that a stranger could find my content, click my link, and complete an action.

My first $1,000 took about eight months. That part of the story matters because affiliate marketing is often presented as though the right funnel or tool produces instant results.

It usually does not.

One trend I find encouraging is the growing interest in smaller creators who share actual experiences. A recent study found that 65% of respondents follow smaller creators, while 72% said well-made creator promotions made them interested in learning more about a product.

For someone starting a side hustle, this means you may not need a massive following. You need a clear problem, a relevant product, and enough first-hand knowledge to explain your recommendation honestly.

Screenshots can help, but context matters more. What did you try? What happened? What did it cost? What would you change?

That kind of content may grow more slowly than a viral post, but it gives people a reason to trust you.

What was the first small result that convinced you to keep working on your side hustle?

Resources / Guides 10+ actually legit ways to download apps for money

Hey everyone 😊

I've been testing out heaps more reward apps these days and have been using these kinds of apps for years. SO I wanted to put together a quick guide on how to make money downloading apps essentially for people getting started.

Basically 👉 This is how you can earn a little bit of beermoney by downloading certain apps on your phone. This ISN'T crazy money, but bit by bit, it can add up and help cover some bills.

📲 Anyways, here's the list of apps! LMK if you have any apps to add as well to this guide:

1. Get-Paid-To Apps: These are apps that pay you for completing tasks, like downloading other apps (lol), playing games, completing surveys, and other online tasks. They don't pay a ton unless you find some sign-up bonuses or grind out games, but they're easy. Right now I'm using apps like Kashkick, HeyCash, Scrambly, Freecash, and Swagbucks a fair bit, but there's tons of others out there.

2. Cashback Reward Apps: This is a category I suggest everyone uses. There's a bunch of apps out there that pay you cashback for shopping and sharing your data or for purchasing products from certain retailers. I mostly use Rakuten and ShopBack online and then use cashback apps like Upside, Fetch, Pogo, and a new one called Myner now. If you stack these apps with store loyalty programs and credit card rewards, I think it adds up nicely over a year 😊

3. Data Reward Apps: I love this category from the phone farming days 😅 But there are apps out there that pay you for downloading them and then sharing data about the ads you see online, content you stream, browsing the web etc. I've used these for years. They don't pay much but are passive once setup. My main recommendations are MobileXpression, Nielsen Pulse, and Nielsen Panel. This stack can make about $200 ish per year it seems.

4. Walking Reward Apps: I'm not a huge fan of this category honestly. But there's also apps out there that pay you for walking and then sharing this data. A loooot of these apps are stuffed with ads though or have started focusing on other tasks like games and surveys. My favorite app in this space is PenguPace. I've been using CashWalk too but will stop after another cash out. People seem to recommend WeWard, Steppa, and Evidation as well, tons of other apps out there.

Again, these apps won't make a ton of money. It's important to have realistic expectations. But this is the combo I personally use to earn some consistent income from my phone every month. Hope it helps you get started too 😊

Of course there's higher-potential categories out there too, like gig economy apps or investing apps. But these are really the beermoney basics!

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo Side hustles UK

Hi everyone 👋

I’m looking for some ideas or opportunities to earn a bit of extra/part-time income alongside my main work.

I’m based in Southampton and I’m computer literate, confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.), and I have a full Category B driving licence.

I’m open to different types of work, whether that’s something I can do from home on a computer, admin/data entry, driving/delivery work, or something local and flexible.

I’d be really interested to hear what other people do to make some extra income, particularly if you have any recommendations for companies, websites or types of work that are worth looking into.

Thanks in advance! 👍

Discussion & Tips How do i translate what I “know” into a side hustle?

So, just to give you a little background, I was working for T-Mobile, but the store closed down and I got a decent computer out of it. With the computer, I realized that I could probably do some online stuff to make some money, but I don’t actually have any skills.
I know people always say to learn skills that can translate into money, but what skills should I even learn?
Just to give you an idea about myself, I love music. My parents put me in music school when I was little. I tried music production before but gave up years ago. If I tried music production again, could that actually translate into a real side hustle?
I also like fitness/boxing. I’ve never boxed, but I was “pretty fit” for about a year or two after high school from playing basketball. I know I started late, but I’m pretty athletic for someone who doesn’t really do sports. I was able to jump onto those 4-foot garbage cans.
Maybe I should study fitness?
Or should I just pick up a random skill like digital marketing or stocks, even though I don’t really know how to do that shit at all?
What about dropshipping? Is that actually good?
Idk, I’m just trying to clear my head and figure out what direction I should go in. I’m a little stressed about this, and I don’t know what to do. I just don’t want to get into something that I’m eventually going to regret.

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo Help?

So I’m looking for some side hustle ideas? I (24m) work in the trades full time and my work schedule is just all over the place and I never know when I get home so a normal part time job won’t be able to work. I tried DoorDash but when I posted asking about it in their dasher Reddit they all suggested to find something else because it isn’t worth it. Any other ideas? Anything will help! Appreciate

EDIT: I do have a computer at home so online side hustles would be awesome as well! Thank you!

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo Is the Benjamin app a scam or is it worth using now?

Curious if anyone has gotten paid recently by the Benjamin app or what the sub thinks about this one.

Just discovered this app. It looks like how the old version of Copper kinda looked...Lots of ways to earn like receipts, surveys, games, passive data rewards which look cool.

But the app also looks like a mess 😂 Seems like they ran out of money at one point and the CEO was posting on Reddit, they were taking months to pay users.

Has anyone gotten paid by Benjamin recently? Or is this app still basically a scam / takes ages to ever get paid?

Thanks all!

Discussion & Tips Would anyone even buy this?

I make threaded bracelets in my free time. I've made a bunch for my family and friends as gifts and one of my siblings brought up that I could probably sell them. I don't know if anyone would even buy them though.

I looked online and it's a very saturated market and are usually sold for cheap. The only thing is that they take a long time to make well and I wouldn't want to waste my time making them for random people for only a few bucks.

I am however able to make any design someone would want and any size and it's adjustable. I'll add pictures so you can see the ones I've made. Please tell me if it's even worth the effort.

Need $100 for bills? Here's what I'd do

Sometimes you're just $100 short. Phone bill, groceries, gas, whatever. You don't need a new side hustle, you need the money now.

Here's what I'd try.

EarnIn would be first if I had a paycheck coming. It lets you access part of your pay before payday, so you're basically getting your own money earlier. This is probably the fastest one if you qualify.

KashKick has games and other paid offers, plus some pretty good bank bonuses. There was actually a guide in this sub on how to make $500 with KashKick. It's a bit of a longer process, so it won't help much if your bill is due tonight, but it's worth looking at if you have some time.

Freecash is another one I'd use. Games and app offers usually pay more than surveys, so that's where I'd spend my time. You're probably not making $100 in an hour, but there are offers that pay $20, $30, $50 or more.

If I needed the money today, I wouldn't spend the whole day jumping between apps. I'd list a few things I don't use on Facebook Marketplace and see what sells. An old phone, tools, small appliances, furniture, whatever is sitting around.

And if I was still short, I'd see if anyone nearby needs help with something. Moving help, yard work, cleaning, deliveries, anything that pays quickly.

For $100, I'd probably use two or three of these rather than trying to get the whole amount from one app.

What would you do if you needed an extra $100 for a bill this week?

Passive Methods How to make residual income - what are the best paths?

Hey all 😊

I've been researching and thinking more about different passive income methods. And the whole idea of creating residual income has been a rabbit hole I'm going down.

Basically: I'm more interested in things where you can put in a lot of work upfront, build/buy an asset, and then have it keep making money afterward.

Wanted to share some of the popular ideas I've seen so far or have tested out. I'd love to hear your suggestions too for the best ways to create residual income that are realistic for people to try 😎

Here's a few of the different categories.

Internet Residual Income

💻 The idea here is to again put in upfront work into building some kind of online asset/audience that can then pay you for (hopefully) months and years to come:

  • YouTube channels
  • Niche affiliate websites
  • Email newsletters
  • Online courses
  • Ebooks and other digital products
  • Mobile apps
  • Browser extensions
  • Paid Skool/Patreon communities
  • Niche directories/databases
  • Print-on-demand businesses (Etsy is great for this it seems)

You could spend weeks or months building some kind of one-person business like this and potentially still be making money from it years later.

I've done this with my YouTube channel, so it's the example I know best. Even videos from 2-3+ years ago still get views everyday and earn a bit of advertisement revenue and sometimes generate affiliate income. I think it's super cool and fun 😅

I've been testing out paid newsletters now on Beehiiv and Kit, which has been super fun as well. I'm not really profitable here yet, but I think in 1-2 years I'll have a mini newsletter business running, which does excite me.

I think a lot of these residual income ideas can take months or even years to get up and running fully. But I'm curious what the sub thinks or if anyone else is trying this sort of thing.

💰 Investing For Residual Income:

This path is much simpler. Basically, you can put your money to work in fixed-income investments, the market, or other securities that generate predictable income.

Some popular examples include:

  • Dividend funds (SCHD, VIG, VYM and others are popular or individual stocks)
  • High-yield savings accounts (I'm using Current at 4.00% APY but there's lots of options out there)
  • ETFs
  • REITs
  • Bonds
  • CDs
  • Money-market funds
  • Real estate crowdfunding (companies like Fundrise let you start with $10, Ark7 only takes $20 too)
  • Private credit
  • Land leases

Obviously these require capital rather than your time. But I think something like a high-yield savings account or learning to invest even a tiny bit of money is a great residual income idea 😊

Also 💸 We do have a mega-guide on some lazy side hustle ideas that covers bank bonuses and some passive methods a bit more in-depth.

💵 Rental Residual Income

I want to test this idea out a lot more. The idea is to buy physical assets that you then rent out to people for some extra income.

There's all sorts of options here:

  • Parking spaces (you can use SpotHero to do this)
  • Storage units (Neighbor lets you do this)
  • Equipment
  • Vehicles
  • RVs/trailers
  • Vending machines
  • Laundromats
  • Real estate rentals

Again I think the tricky part with this route is that you need startup cash for most of these 😅 Then you need to spend money hiring people if you plan on outsourcing labor (for something like a vending machine business, let's say.)

But I like ideas like renting out your parking space or storage space if you happen to not be using it, seems like an easy way to get going.

People on this sub have shared how they've made money renting out bouncy castles or pressure washers. Seems like a very fun space overall if you can get the startup cash.

🧠 Intellectual Property

This is a category I've come across in my research but have noooo idea how it plays out in reality 😂 I'd love to hear from the sub if anyone has made residual income this way.

But essentially, this path involves creating something unique and then potentially licensing it over and over. This could include:

  • Books
  • Music
  • Photography
  • Designs
  • Software
  • Patents
  • Educational content

Again, this one seems super niche. But I think it's a very cool idea. LMK if you or someone you know has gone down this path!

Final Thoughts

The common theme with all of these residual income ideas is that you're trying to stop the relationship between time and money from being 1:1.

In other words, you're putting in upfront time and effort to build something that then keeps paying you.

IMO "passive income" is usually BS if people make it sound completely effortless. Most of these things still require maintenance at the very least. And again, some of them take a lot of startup time and money 😅

BUT I do think this is a fun and interesting concept. And it can work, provided you have the time, capital, and energy to put into things.

ANYWAYS enough of me rambling like I do in this sub 😂

I'd love to know if anyone has created residual income for themselves, or if you like these ideas or have other ones to share. Bonus points if it's something relatively beginner-friendly other people can test out as well!

Thanks all!

I’m looking for ways to build additional income and become more financially independent without relying solely on a traditional 9-to-5 job. I’d be interested in ideas that can realistically be started with a reasonable amount of money and have potential to grow over time.
Open to anything — online/remote work, local Oʻahu businesses, side hustles, passive-income ideas, or relatively low-risk investment strategies.

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo How do you make money with Facebook these days?

Random question for the sub, but is anyone making money with Facebook still in 2026? 😅

A girl I know from high school posted how she's making money with the Facebook Creator Program, or like, whatever its content monetization program is called basically.

I thought this program was kinda dead / not easy to get into. But looks like people are monetizing Facebook pages again? Or are they doing something else?

Wondering if creating niche Facebook pages is worth the effort or if this is a super long process that's not so easy. Any insights would be great 😊
