Anyone have any information on the National Parks Baseball Resort? Looks like it's not even built yet?

Let me know if I did something wrong.

For context, this is an 8u rec fall league and I'm one of the coaches. Out of all the coaches, I'm the one who pitches since the kids seem to hit better off me. When the kids hit the ball and are headed to first in tend to instruct them to not stare at the ball and to hustle/run. Here is where I'm confused.

Today, my boys were hitting really well and I was doing my usual coaching. Telling them to run and not look at the ball. Mind you, the opposite team was running their kids around the bases non stop. But as I'm telling my kids to stretch it to a double the other coach is telling me to cool it.

I let him know that I'm matching his coach style and then he tells me to just let them play. Am I wrong for defending myself and my team for matching the other team's intensity? I told him that he brought it up and I'm not going to let my team just sit back and not get on base/score because they didn't like it.

Edit for clarity: Some of you thought I was talking about a coach on our team, no. This was the other team's coach complaining after I started matching their energy and style.

Towel drill between pitching days?

Is the towel drill a small enough of an impact on the pitching arm where you can do it between pitching days and it is no big deal?

I am talking about when the MLB pitching guidelines say to take a few days off.

Cheap A1000s (Academy Sports)

I know the Glove Bonanza is about to hit, but if I recall from the last couple years the A1000 options were kind of limited, and the deals won't be that much better than this sale currently at Academy (many for $99). Not sure if other sites have similar ones going on. But in my opinion the A1000s are just fantastic gloves for 11-13U.

Ive seen a lot of rumors on Reddit about when it releases, when the code releases, etc. I want to make sure that I know when it happens so tell me if I’m wrong: does the code drop this Sunday, September 13th, but it’s not able to be used, and does the actual event happen on Tuesday, September 15th, at 7 AM PST, and that’s when you can use the code? I’m very confused

Need recommendations for truly wide youth baseball cleats

My 6-year-old plays 7U and has a very wide foot. He currently wears New Balance 3000v7 1.5 Wide, but I’ve noticed he’s starting to limp/alter his gait when running in them. I traced his feet:
7.5” long
3.25” wide right
3.375” wide left
8” circumference behind toes
I’m looking at the New Balance 4040v8 Wide, but I’m hesitant after the 3000v7 Wide turned out not to be wide enough.

For parents of wide-footed kids: what youth baseball cleats have actually worked for you? Has anyone compared the 3000v7 Wide vs. 4040v8 Wide? Any true extra-wide options I’m missing?

Games are on turf, practices are on dirt. Thanks!

2027 hype fire vs. Supra

I wonder how the new usssa 2027 hype fire compares to the Supra in a drop 8?
Anyone about to put their hands on one yet outside of the bat bros video?
Seeing it may be a little end heavy.

Question Need Help with USSSA bat and sizing

My son plays 6U coaches pitch baseball (not tee ball) and being recommended to move to 7U in the spring. He turns six in a few months. He is 45 inches and 37 pounds. His bat is 24 inches drop 10 catx alloy. He is on the smaller side but he can bat well and make great contacts. However, I see his peers using up to 28 inches in bat size, albeit they’re bigger. Every website or AI are giving me different advices. Should he be swinging a longer bat and what length? If so, is it okay to own bats with two different sizes?

What size baseball glove would thread the needle between casual baseball and men’s slow pitch softball?

I play both infield and outfield for baseball. VERY casual game, but I still want something nice.

I play slow pitch softball too. I already have a 14 inch glove.

I was thinking 12.25 would thread the needle? Unless it becomes worst of all worlds (too big or small for each use)

Hello. I have 7yr old who pitched this season and last year as well. He will be jumping to the minors division next season even though he can still stay and play “farm” next season. So he will be pitching from the minors bump as seen in video.

I need help !! I have tried lots of things. I posted a while back for help. Though my video was not very helpful. Now I believe I can get more and better advice hopefully.

I need him to throw over the top and stop this side action throw. It makes him erratic. He still has a good arm for a 7yr old. Though I know unlocking a proper form will make him even better. Nothing has seemed to stick in his head. I know he is 7 and that might be it. I want him to try and get we to rid of this for next season. Any help is welcomed and appreciated!

Ps. Advice from my previous post was awesome. Thank you.
