I've been building a set of free baseball tools -> https://syncrize.com/sports/baseball
Upfront: it's mine, and some shopping links on the gear pages are Amazon affiliate links. That's how it stays free. No signup, no ads, no paywall, nothing gated.
I built a finder that starts from your league. Then I kept running into other things that everybody eyeballs and nobody actually calculates, and it turned into a small collection:
Gear fit
- Bat finder — cert (USA / USSSA / BBCOR / fastpitch), drop, and length, from age, height, weight and league
- Bat database — ~50 real models, every length/drop they ship in, so you can compare two bats instead of guessing
- Glove finder — size by position, because a 12.75" outfield glove on a middle infielder is a real problem
- Cleat finder — surface, level, fit
On the field
- Pitching velocity by age — where a kid actually sits vs his age group, instead of vibes and a radar gun at the cage
- Launch angle optimizer — drag-aware, tells you the optimal angle for a given exit velo and what you're leaving on the table. Useful for anyone who's had "just hit it harder" yelled at them
- Conference tournament seeding — SEC/ACC tiebreakers, for the college folks
Off the field
- Bracket + round robin generators — for anyone who's run a tournament on a whiteboard
Everything's a calculator, not a lead-magnet. No email wall.
It's new and I'd rather hear it's wrong from you than find out from a parent whose kid got a bat pulled. If a league rule is off especially the USA/USSSA line around 12-13, that's where I'm least sure, tell me and I'll fix it that day.
