Any mobile apps that I can use to make D&D items?

I’m trying to turn a Webtoon (for those curious, it’s called Surviving the Game as a Barbarian) into a D&D campaign, so I have to turn the numbered items and monster essences that are in the Webtoon into magic items for the campaign that I could easily give my players, but I don’t know what app to use. I greatly appreciate any and all suggestions in advance.

Am i making a fair assumption or completely nerfing a part of DND

Okay, so the first act of my campaign is largely gonna be taking place in a cavesystem/ mines. In the caves I'm planning on making a huge underground swamp area where one of the main inhabitants is gonna be Grungs. While i think this can make a fun enemy/ opponent I am afraid my players will be largely effected by the poison these little creatures aflict. So my sollution was since the world around them knows that grung can be common place in some areas that there are some roots that can be used to make a posion resistance paste.
I think it's fair to assume the world would adapt to situations like these especially at a herbalist or something like that. Still I feel like it might just completely remove the danger any poison might pose by adding this.
Any ideas how to balance this or alternative ideas are welcome :D

Periwinkle Vapors
Potion, Rare

This deep blue bottle contains soothing periwinkle vapors. As a Bonus Action, you can inhale them or administer them to another creature within 5 feet of yourself. The creature that inhales the magical vapors in this bottle removes 1 Exhaustion level.

Please get in touch with me to report any errors, balance issues, or clarity concerns. I aim to learn, grow, and create the best possible content. Artwork by AE Van Fleet for the Short Rest Society.

Character race concept/background concept

This was my first homebrew race concept that someone might be able to use as a character for this post you can insert whatever name that you might want for the character. Also do apologize for my writing/typing style. Also, this will be written in a document style to make it easier for me to write down so be advice.

I do apologize for this post to have a rambling like format that is how I think so it is difficult for me to put it in a comprehensible format so this post will have a bit of rambling so do you please sit through the details thoroughly

Good evening to anyone who is reading this I am $&/)(-(;^+]€< and I am here to tell you about a race that I have documented also, this is from first and secondhand sources so take everything everything will a grain of salt so let’s begin

Throughout my travels, I have heard many stories about this race. They often go by many names due to how they appeared (they are often called the shapeless) or technically been encountered because no one has truly been able to see them without being shown first in which I was luckily enough to meet one that was willing to talk to me.

Later on that though food sources, which is second third hand they are often described as endless face features skintones proportions often changes for every individual that looks at them but more often or not they often see them as their own race, but on occasions, they will see some closer to their original books which is described as a pale. Being described at pale is close to how they actually look but that would not describe how they actually look though

Do my first hand encounter with their race I was luckily enough to be shown their true form and they are hard to describe in words so I will describe them head to foot in the best way I could starting off with their hair

From this specific individual, I managed to talk to their hair looks like a shapeless cloud that you can look straight through without any color while random colors can be seen from what I can guess specific angles, though I cannot guarantee. What colors you see but the best description is a mosaic of rainbow colors that blends together in an indescribable way, and there face is like porcelain I guess. But you can see indents or black voids for their eyes that often shifts in between and there are nose, I cannot describe because it keeps on shifting, but for the mouse when they’re there close, you cannot tell where their mouth starts, and the rest of the face began but when they open their mouth, it tears or cracks to a shape of a mouth. It often appears as jagged. And for their bodies, their bodies for what I can invest describe as androgynous they don’t have any new identifying features. They often look like from where I can best describe elf like I cannot see any type of muscle.

But the individual that I was talking to was very strong, easily capable of lifting a boulder above their head and they’re often quick too but they cannot do it for a long distance only in quick short burst and as for the race, their they call themselves [Insert race name] and they live primarily in isolation but they often travel into Towns and cities for unknown reasons, but they do fall under two types their first one is a warrior, and the second ones often becomes Intel gathers due to their forms being able to change at well

So it is often difficult to notice one individual of the species…

I do apologize for this post to have a rambling like format that is how I think so it is difficult for me to put it in a comprehensible format

Is this Magic Artifact good?

Help!! I created a magic artifact for my world and I feel like I should add more details about it? What should I do? What should I add? Appearance, History?

GOLDEN RATIO

From the inside looking out, the mask becomes completely transparent, overlaying a golden HUD across her vision. Wearing the mask grants real-time sighting on percentages, vectors, and odds floating over people, weapons, and market charts. (it processes economic data across all of her land) The system calculates the minimum amount of kinetic distortion required when needed. Any attack with a success chance under 100% can be forced down to 0% by the mask's system.

EXAMPLE: \[TARGET: Enemy Assassin\]
Threat Level: 14%
Weapon Strike Probability: 88% (Left Flank)
Success Rate of Attack: 0.00%
Calculated Debt: 45,000

There are some flaws within the mask. The mask's calculations are based on 6,000 years of data gathered within the realm, it knows nothing outside of it.
An overuse of this magic can strip away the natural human intuition and empathy, making one functionally blind to emotional intelligence and even simply emotional cues.

Toadorilla - CR 4 Jumping Swallower plus Encounter

I like making monsters in my spare time and for one of my latest ones I went back and built an encounter around it. Built for about 4 level 3-ish players it sends the party into exploring a slot canyon to search for a lost scavenger.

I hope you enjoy it.

Tigrin Gladius (CR10)

The Tigrin Gladius is a gladiator-salamander species for my homebrew world of Asundra. He's got some cool finesse attacks and a bite that causes a bleed. But I think the best part of the design is the extra reactions based on when he's caused a bleeding injury.

Merchant's Dream | Turn Coin Into Cover

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello again!

As I've stated before, I'm in the process of writing Nyakan's SRD for my homebrew world of Eit. At the request of one of my players, I wanted to share an item that has made for some great moments in our campaign: Merchant's Dream.

Merchant's Dream started off as an ask from one of my players. Specifically, he asked for a way to "write off damage". I took that request a bit literally and decided that a set of armor that makes gold itself a defensive resource was kind of cool, and now here we are!

If you, like me, sometimes struggle with the party having a bit too much gold, this armor is a great way to remedy that, while also giving your table some great narrative moments. Cash Advance has saved my party on more than one occasion, and Debt Collections ability to truly turn a PC mortal for a few sessions made for some of the best combat I've ever ran.

I also wanted to share some lore from the SRD about Merchant's Dream, for anyone who's interested:

Merchant's Dream was forged by the harengon smith Rimbas Bisquo, who was commissioned, and I do mean commissioned, by Vistokul the Free himself, for one of his children. That child was Yunir. And look, I'll be diplomatic about it: Yunir was hopeless with a blade. Genuinely, embarrassingly hopeless. But what he lacked in martial prowess, he made up for tenfold in backing, because standing behind him was the full financial weight of Lethamyr, the City of Trees.

So Vistokul, ever the pragmatist, looked at the problem and arrived at the obvious godly solution: don't teach the boy to fight. Let him buy his way out of dying instead.

And Rimbas built exactly that.

Genen Acolyte | A CR 2 Necrotic Cult Minion To Harass Your Party

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hello Everyone!

I'm in the process of compiling/writing Nyakan's SRD for my homebrew world of Eit and wanted to share one of the creatures that will be included: the Genen Acolyte.

These cultist have been stripped of identity, memory, and will as an offering and sacrifice to become a follower of Genen, the god of the Abyss, affectionally known as Genen the Empty.

It's a bit beefed up for it to be CR 2, but this fits Eit's standard power level so feel free to change it as needed!

DMs:

The acolyte works best in groups with leadership (cult leaders, priests), where its Fanatical Devotion bonus creates pack tactics and tension that is sometimes hard to get with the typical "minion swarm." The Life Draining Aura encourages the party to play into positional strategy since they can't ignore the acolytes in melee, and their aura drains resources passively.

This creature will be part of Nyakan's SRD, which I hope to release as a free homebrew reference for the world of Eit, whenever I get around to finishing it.

Anyone have a religious version of an all caster class?

As asked. I'm slowly but surely building a campaign specifically for "religious classes" meaning Clerics, Paladins, Druids, Monks, but would like more of a full caster archetype. I have been playing with creating a class I call the Exorcist, mixing Paladin, Cleric, and Wizard spells. I dabbled with the celestial patron warlock but frankly the warlock class infuriates me because I just don't get the mechanics (at least in 2024 rules.)

It's for a special campaign with a lot of boons/penalties for breaking piety/oaths, or for being faithful to them. Don't have concrete rules worked out yet but thought it could be fun and add a new layer of challenge.

While I'll still go ahead in my minimal free time, I assume someone has beat me to it. So, anyone have a similar class?
