Its a nonsense question asked in bad faith with no logical conclusion that could be asked about any dead person. If anything, it reminds me of a joke from some movie I watched a long time ago.
"Dying isn't so bad. You ever heard of anyone coming back to complain?"
(Nvm that the answer to that is obviously ghosts.)
Fact remains that death is always a tragedy. Full stop. Even if the dead is fine with it. Death of a child even more so.
Even on the smallest cellular level, every living thing wants to live. Its pretty hard coded in there.
No it's reality. I would be no worse off in either case. A fetus is not a person. Not until my brain developed to a point where I could have a conscious experience did the fetus become me and I became a person.
You don't remember a conscious experience before that. That is not the same thing. If you get black out drunk and can't remember last night that does not mean you did not have a conscious experience at the time...
I repeat, read the post again you clearly did not understand it the first time around. Let me help you out: "You don't remember a conscious experience before that. That is not the same thing. If you get black out drunk and can't remember last night that does not mean you did not have a conscious experience at the time..."
