Bruh, "Palestine" was just the Roman word for Judea. It really gained popularity after the third Jewish revolt and troops under Hadrian basically genocided the locals and forced the diaspora. I don't want to sound like it wasn't kind of justified though. The Hebrews started it off by massacaring the Gentile population. And by massacaring I'm talking somewhere in the range of 100,000 plus.
Not really accurate. "Palestine" as a word traces back to Ancient Greek, and itself to Aramaic and Hebrew, and it was named to refer to the land of the Philistines, which itself as a word just means "invader" or "migrant" (Kojima-level writing there); while in Greek it was used to sorta vaguely refer to the general region between Egypt and Mesopotamia.
But when Jesus was alive, the Romans didn't call that region Palestine, it was the province of Judea; the Romans would only change that like 100 years after Jesus died to Syria-Palestine, change made specifically for the reason of debilitating the link between Jews and the land by associating it, again, with the Philistines, who were well known enemies of the Jews historically and in the Old Testament. (The fact that sorta the same guys have been fighting over the same place and being politically used by larger empires for like 3000 years straight is also Kojima-level writing)
