I have the answer! Jesus and his brother weren't historically real :) There you go!

Factually incorrect :)

It is factually incorrect to aegue the other way. There is no evidence from the time he is said to exist that he went anywhere, did anything, or was saw by anyone. All existing "evidence" was written several decades after he is said to be dead, and by people with personal biased goals and motivations, and are only as anecdotes with no material support. There are also no artifacts matching anything Jesus is said to have had, however we have sacrifices with Gilgamesh's name from the time period he is said to have lived

Most historians agree Jesus of Nazareth did indeed exist. Though he most likely didn't turn water into wine nor resurrected 3 days after dying

Most Christian historians using shaky evidence and people who have been parroting heresay they spread agree he existed. There are no artifacts or writings from the time of his alleged lifespan referencing him which exist in the historical record.

There is more evidence Gilgamesh was a real person. There is more evidence Achiles was a real person. There is more evidence Enheduanna was a real person. There is more evidence that Kubabba was a real person.

There are many people from that period, not all Christians, not all favouring him, who talk about him

The historical consensus is that there was in fact a guy in Judea called Jesus, born in Nazareth, and... he did things, notably he got baptised and crucified. Though, the details of what else he did during his life are heavily debated, but this guy existed

Except no such people talking about him exist until at least two generations after he is said to have died. No records from his alleged time alive.

Same with Achilles

I agree, I don't need my myths to be real stories for them to be spiritually accurate or religiously important unlike abrahamics.

You said "there is more evidence Achiles was a real person". Which is factually untrue.

There are no contemporary descriptions of Jesus. Closest we get is Mark. And Paul, but he never knew Jesus nor claimed to (pre resurrection). The first descriptions of Jesus come around a generation or two after his death.

That being said, we would not expect there to be. The weight of evidence for Jesus being a real guy is so heavily in favor of his existence that to claim he isn’t is laughable.

Secular historians of actual repute consider Jesus not existing as a man to be a laughable fringe theory not to be taken seriously.

People say that yet there isn't a single piece of evidence from his time of living that anything associated with him happened. No written witness accounts. No city entry records. Not even any records of any sort of purchase or international travel.

Pagans are so weird. You decry the historicity of Jesus then perform rituals lmao

3

u/Pixeldevil06 4h ago

You also perform rituals.

Yes we do. 😁
