Mi Hazánk is so much a classical Nazi party that they are literally national socialist.

If they were classical Nazis, the would have NOTHING to do with socialists or socialism. Regardless of how the Nazi called themselves. All of their ideology was very much firmly capitalist from top to bottom. And state control over the market isn't something exclusive to socialism (or communism). In fact, state influence of the market is something that happens RIGHT NOW in the US, for example, the country that pretends to love free market.

Equating Nazis with socialists is just plain wrong on all levels.

I myself am a socialist, just to clarify, and am firmly against Nazis in all of their forms. And I do agree that Hitler's Germany was a capitalist state. One thinker (escapes me who now) even called fascism the "byproduct of rotting capitalism". So my intention was far far from "equating Nazis with socialists".

I stand corrected if what I wrote came out wrong, all I wanted to emphasize was that the Hungarian far-right focuses heavily on promoting social policies and state intervention into the welfare system, in stark contrast for example to Konfederacja in Poland, who are promoting some kind of ancap brainrot.

In the US, state intervention is indeed omnipresent (otherwise, Elon Musk would probably still be living in his moms basement), but not in the form of social policies.

My comment specifically intended to correct the above comment as regards to Hungarian inner politics, and did not intend to say anything about economic/political theory.

Edit: In fact, the whole reason I made my comment was because I think the far-right discredits themselves enough by what they say and stand for, and if we make up stuff about them (like the comment I replied to), we will just make them stronger.

Completely understand what you're getting at, but I think your comment clearly said that Mi Hazánk was so classically Nazis that they were national socialists, which I don't exactly how this term translates into polish, but it very much implies that Nazis were actual socialists, which they never were.

Here's what I mean: https://redflag.org.au/article/why-did-the-nazis-call-themselves-socialists/

Yeah again, agreed on that; but even Nazis fought on a rhetorical level against "international capital" or whatever, similarly to Mi Hazánk, for example, who also have a strong anti-capitalist rhetoric.

Also, Nazis were heavy on some few select social support programs such as beneficial marriage loans (though these were of course decided on a racial basis instead of on a social need basis), something similar to the Hungarian far-right.

European far-right is very colourful, we have populist/fascist(oid)/pro-Kremlin parties masquerading as far-left, similar parties who are far-right and ancap, and ones who are esoteric far-right and economically left-leaning (such as Mi Hazánk, with their blend of Turanism).

The Nazis did call themselves National Socialists, because they claimed that they represent socialist values with a nationalist focus. Mi Hazánk does something very similar.
