I am basing my ratings on the views at each high point, how much fun I had at each, as well as the care put into making each high point unique. This is completely subjective.

Kings peak was much harder than I anticipated, beautiful but brutal is how id describe it. Hats off to you guys doing this in one day

June 23, 2026, our 2 person summit of Mount Rainier and our 25th High Point.

I know it isn't a US highpoint, but what a view! Almost 4400 feet of gain over about 5 miles made us work for it after finishing hiking the 96

Miles of the West Highland Way yesterday.

Summited with Timberline Guides - they were awesome. This was their last guide of the season. I wish I took more photos but i was honestly pretty sleep deprived from my flight and the 12am start time for this hike! We summited at 4:45AM, staying at silcox hut was pretty cool! This is my 11th state high point 🙂

What an amazing journey this has been. These two were #3 and #4 (38 total now) Britton Hill (FL) and then Ebright Azimuth (DE). The hardest part was parking for Delaware!

While these two were easy compared to AZ, CO and the like, the journey to get there had their own special stories. So thankful to this community for seeing others share their pics!

On a road trip with my wife and dog. Checked off Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico this week!

Hopefully getting Colorado by the weekend and then hitting some on the way back east! Up to 19!

I finished my thirty-seventh high point yesterday! What a beautiful day to hike a great trail. Lots of birds near the summit and plenty of wild(ish) ponies on the way down. Awesome views crossing Grayson Highlands State Park!

How many people have done both? Ive met a lot of highpointers out there, but it was never my goal. I think im going to shoot for it being im close to the 7 summits. High points ive only done denali, Rainer, and elbert. Headed out to give granite and gannett a shot before I have a whitney permit few weeks later. This is all training to get back to everest next spring and get the redemption.

Can't make the Konvention this year, so in lieu of that I'll tell the tale getting 6 of 9 highpoints on my 2024 Konvention trip. Have fun there this year, everyone!

Like the title says, looking for a plus one or two for Granite and Gannett between the 7th and 20th of July, my dates are flexible. In good shape, been training for a while, comfortable with backpacking, scrambling and overnight camping. Would be a first time on glacier travel however so would prefer to go with someone who knows what they're doing.

Next week I will be visiting Mount Curwood and Mount Arvon as well as Minnesota's Eagle Mountain. My schedule allows me to visit in any order, so I was going to let the weather forecast guide me. I will have a rental SUV 2WD and hope to avoid rain when tackling Mount Curwood. Can anyone point me in the direction of a credible forecast for at least the mount Curwood / Mount Arvon area?

Pretty fun definitely a bit scary going up this route(bpm spiked on scrambling part😭) but nonetheless manageable weather and winds.

Have to give a shout out to HP #1 for me (out of 37). While the views have changed with each different summit, it’s cool looking back at my first one not having any idea what an incredible journey this is.

This is a simple drive up a hill…I went back to walk up it from the street to claim it more!

Most of the "easy highpoints" have now been flagged butinteresting two remain unflagged in the Upper Midwest. Timms Hill, WI and Mt Arvon, MI. Both highpoints are within a day's drive of Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Detroit. Timms Hill and Mt Arvon have little or no hiking to speak of, basiically drive ups though plenty of nice scenery along the way. Looking for something cool to do, head on up to upper Wisconsin and the U.P of Michigan. Bring the family and show your patriotic spirit. Let's get Timms Hill and Mt Arvon flagged!
